I've been reading through the adventure and I came across this, and was wondering if it was a misprint or what. The Ruins: The marid entry in the ruins says she will grant wishes as long as one of those is used for her release. However in the bestiary the marid only receives one wish, once per year. I was just wondering if this was a misprint in the adventure or is she trying to fool the party?
Ok so I just got my new Pathfinder and Gamemastery module, and what do I find inside the package...a christmas card from Paizo. This thing is awesome. It has one of the best card covers ever, and the goblin song inside (sung to the tune of Jingle Bells) is incredible. I laughed so hard, that root beer came out of my nose. Thanks for the card, and Happy Holidays to all of you Paizoites? Paizoeans? Paizo peoples.
Hey everyone. I'm looking for a program that I can use to put a 1" grid on a map, and then split that map into several pieces for printing. My local printers can only do up to a certain size print on heavy stock paper, so I would like to find something that I can use to split a large map into smaller pieces. Thanks for any info. -DedmeetDM
Just wondering if there were any cities planned for Varisia with a Scuttlecove/Tortuga feel to them. My players are loving Scuttlecove. They really got a kick out of my own addition to the city, The Running of the Ghouls. Basically the bigwigs of Scuttlecove took their slaves and put them into a couple mile long gauntlet and released a pack of hungry ghouls behind them. The winner, the first slave to cross the finish line won his freedom. The others...well that wasn't pretty.
Just got done reading the blog about the new setting (very excited) and the starting place of the new AP. A couple questions arose. How big of a town will Sandpoint be? Will there be a Backdrop: Sandpoint, with the same kind of detail as in the Savage Tide AP? How much of the new AP will be based around Sandpoint? "One of my groups favorite APs was Shackled City, due largely to the fact that they really felt like Cauldron was their home." Really looking forward to the new AP, the new setting, and the new direction of Paizo.
Not sure if this had been covered before, but I was just wondering if after all the chaos at Kraken's Cove if there is a possiblity of having savage sharks swimming in the waters? I was thinking that with the amount of bodies around at least a few of the savage pirates (after being killed) must have found their way into the waters near the ships. All the blood and noise would have brought sharks in to feast. So is it possible to get the savage fever by eating someone with the savage template? I would assume so since it is a disease they can transfer. I am wondering because this seems like a interesting encounter if the PCs spot the broken pearl at the bottom of the cove. -DedmeetDM
First off I would like to thank the members of the Dungeon staff for such quality adventures. The new AP is looking fantastic, the maps of mystery are creating adventure ideas on their own, and the stand-alone adventures are great. Kudos to you all. I have been a subscriber for just about a year, I started not long after hearing about Paizo's campaign to help the victims of Katrina. Being sheltered in Biloxi was not fun! However the military shelters held up pretty well, and I was fortunate to only suffer about $2k damage to my truck. Hearing about your company helping out the victims of that catastrophe made me a lifelong subscriber. And I keep finding out more and more things I like. Several members of the staff, including the editor himself actually reads and answers the posts of subscribers. The free downloadable content on the site is also great. Which brings me to the title of this ramble, web supplements. I was just wondering how long after an issue has been out, is its web supplement put up on the site. Those are a big help since I do alot of my gaming online. Once again thanks for the quality content, and for being a company that actually cares for their subscribers. -DedmeetDM
I was thinking of addding in a npc soothsayer to my upcoming SCAP campaign. This would probably be a senile old woman who ever-so-often comes to the pcs with a cryptic riddle. This riddle would fortell the events in the campaign, and would help prevent TPKs if the PCs figure out the riddle. I am only doing one riddle per adventure, and it doesn't necessarily pertain to the main fight or badguy. I think this will add a bit of fun for the players, as they do enjoy figuring out puzzles and riddles. So far this is what I have come up with: -Concerning Drakthar's Way
-Concerning Tarkilar and the Quasit in Flood Season
-Concerning the hydra in Zenith's
Tell me what you all think. Good idea, bad idea? -DedmeetDM |
