Lk shifts back into his human form, and tries to push the bigger wolf of him, "Come on, I told you I'm not going back! Your not even sure the portak still works are you?" The larger wolf shifts, and Kiba is crouched next to Lk, holding him down with a hand. "And yet, you'll still be going back. If the portal doesn't work, this era's wolves will babysit you." He turns to JH, "I apoligize if he has caused any trouble, and considering the fresh bandage under his shirt, I think he may have." Arielle wrote:
"Oh *weak expletive*." Lk shifts into a little white wolf and tries to run away... fast. He is easily caught by the larger wolf though, and is pinned to the forest floor. The Eyrie was built in a mountain right? Spoiler:
Landing on the side of the Eyrie, Sky sits down and crosses his legs, then casts the most powerful scry blockers and wards he can. Pulling a flute from his belt, he begins to play the eerie music to call a spirit. A old woman flickers into veiw in front of him.
"It is good to see you again, Shamaness Osprey." "Is it Icarus? You do not call for me unless you belive something truely dangerous is about to occur." "You know me well Old One. Take my hand so you won't be away from our family longer than need be," he says, extending his hand toward the ghostly lady. She grasps it firmly. Moments later, "What have you gotten yourself into? And while you are protecting the tribes last young no less? Nevermind, I already know. "Then you know what I need your help for." "The Calling of the Three? For a god you ask much of a mere mortal's spirit." "You know I bound my power long ago. I will release it for the Calling and then the power will be split amoung myselves. Will you help?" Osprey takes a long time to answer. "Let us begin..." The flesh on Sky's left arm ripples and he breaks the first rune... Jack Hammer wrote:
The pair manage to rise in front of the entrance just as Lk was about to disaapear into the crowd outside the arena. Their arival is so perfectly timed in fact, Lk actually bumps into JH and falls down. Anger and tears show on his face, and his eyes have change to wolfen yellow.lynora wrote: This one's on you. Esmarelda is waiting for answers to her divinations. :) I had not realized that. As Esmarelda uses the letter to scry for Oroth, she see darkness parting as light streams through to show a tower. This tower is at the top of a building seemingly occupied by a large sun. The magic zeros in on the room and she sees a strange golden mist, within which Oroth seems to reside. Sanctum PDX Operator wrote: I haven't meet Esmerelda, or at least I don't think I have. She's one of KC's aliases currently in the Oasis of Still Water trying to scry Oroth(the essence) for Aidan. The essence becomes more distinct as it slowly stands and turns toward the Oasis. Now the form of a teen boy in armor can be seen within the strange sunlight-like mist. High above, in one of the temple's little-used towers, and shining essence waits. Soon another essence arrives and joins the first. Slowly, ecer so slowly, it begins to take the shape of a humanoid. What is strange is the humanoid appears to have wings and is already outfitted with gear. This essence can be moved, but reappears here after a few hours. No matter what! It is only visible during the day. Allura wrote: Allura spends another cure critical on Oroth, and activates the omniportal. She's not really sure where it's set for, and she's hoping she has a way back because she's more than a little concerned about Devlyn, but first she needs to get Oroth to safety. Allura steps throught the portal to find a barely furnished cave. At the foot of a bed sits a locked chest, and a few feet from that sits a desk and chair. The Dalesman wrote:
Snarling with rage, Shadow Pelt leaps at Devlyn, only to be blasted of course by a weak ray of eldritch shadows. Landing on his feet with ease, Shadow Pelt turns on Oroth. "You have no part in this fight, yet still you choose to defend him? You will pay." Suddenly, Shadow Pelt is only a few feet from Oroth and leaping at him. Unable to stop SP, oroth falls to the ground, trying his best to fend of the savage shadow cat. There is a burst of darkness as unseen gems explode and unleash the wrath of eldritch power, blowing SP high into the air. Shadow pelt doesn't land as easily as he did before, and returns his attention to Devlyn. The shadow weave making Oroth look older has faded out of existence, leaving his true self visible. After night next falls, Kiba finds the small cave Rio and Serafina are sharing. Sniffing the air, he recognizes Rio's scent quickly. When he identifies the other scent however, his hackles rise and his mouth twists in a soundless snarl. He is about to rush in when Rio appears at the cave's entrance, wearing armow and holding a dagger in one hand and a pokeball in the other. He stares into the night, trying to see if anything is out and about. Silently, Kiba moves away, confused by what he has just seen. He moves quickly for the Oasis, hoping he does not have to wait long for The Bard... The Grey Wanderer wrote:
I honestly expected something like that to happen. Unable to leap out of the way in time, Lk's lower body is pinned by rubble. Try as he might, he just can't push it off. After much frustrated struggling, he finally calms down. He looks around for something to dig his way out with, and finds only a small board. Nevertheless, he attempts to dig his way out. After a much smaller avalanche, he notices the shiny is close enough to grab. Clutching it tightly, he begins to selectively pulls pieces of rubble off him. Keehaar wrote:

I think I can help this one more than you can right now, so go and find the Star Song's shards. Perhaps when they are all together she can be reborn." With the battle over, Kiba, Aidan, The Bard, and Oroth leave with only Kiba heading for the Grove. The others do not ask why he chooses to be alone. Sky slowly flies for the Eyrie, not saying a word as he leaves the battlefield, wondering why he hasn't risen as the Champion of Wind, hoping LJ may still be alive... Djuhah the Djinn wrote:

A person whose face is covered strides from the woods, walking straight toward Djuhah and Serafina. "I'll take care of her noble djinn, return to your Eyrie to mourn. I will keep her safe." Letting out a feral shriek, Sky flings himself into the air, soaring toward the wraiths. His claws and talons cause the air to whistle as he bigins a deadly aerial dance. He stays near LJ. Kiba roars and charges the Tsar as well, crushing those who would wish to attack E7 from behind, but is forced to help Spring Sapling instead. He does not notice a small white wolf cub watching from safe distance... *Rio glares at his father as he and Aurora land. But says nothing as he calls Whirl back into his ball. Whirl wasn't injured badly, nothing more than a few scratches, but Aurora had been hit with several arrows. He begins to hum as water flows from his hand to knit Aurora's flesh back together.* *Kiba lands a few moments later, shivering and sweating with fatigue, but he isn't wounded.* *Kaelar leans against the Portal, his bardic music nearly spent, and pulls a blue diamond from within his robes. Blue light flares from within the stone and flows toward the allies wounded, but he can do nothing for the dead.* *Shadow Pelt dissappeared when Innocent Blood did.* The Omniportal flashes as The Bard, Rio, Kiba, Aidan, and Nimora step through. They stare at the battle already in full swing. "Aidan and Nimora, stick together and keep an eye on each other, I know you've been praticing but this will be your first real battle. Kiba, Rio, take to the air an do what you can to help the phantom Kittens. And Rio, stay away from Innocent Blood, she's too powerful for you. I'll stay here and guard the Omniportal in case any of those undead try to get through and if any of our allies come through." Once he gives directions(not orders), Kaelar steps in front of the portal and starts to sing, the flow of Primal Music causing fire streaked blue to fly toward the undead. When his song changes, so does the fire, now nothing more than sonic vibrations that break the undead apart. His song changes several more times, swicting the power to ice, then acid, and back to fire or ice. A young boy, about 12 or 14, walks through the Bazaar. He enters a small out-of-the-way shop and enters when he thinks no one is looking. An hour later, he walks out. His black leather armor is now studded with black opals. There is one on his chest, helm, upper and lower arms, uppern and lower legs, each foot and the back of each hand. No long after that he starts to explore the Bazzar.
Through the feather he gave her, Sky feels LJ straining under the amount of power she is channeling. He begins to lend her his strength, letting it flow to her until his vision blurs and he stumbles, leaning against a pillar to remain standing. The flow of power he's sending is cut off as he fall unconscious, still leaning on the pillar. I'm back! As the howl's echo dies away, the shapes darting through the forest emerge, revealing themselves to be wolves. Kiba gives a wolfish grin until he sees a small pure white wolf. A series of growls and barks make up the coversation between the two. With the possible exception of JH and the sentient trees nearby, nobody can understand this next part, but I'll post it anyway. Insert story plot here!! ;) K: "You go right back to the Valley! I told you not to come here because it was to dangerous for a pup! Lk: "I won't go back! Your always telling me I can go with you when I'm stronger, but you don't help me get any stronger! I had to learn how to hunt, how to fight, how to track, all by myself because your never around! *Even in his wolf form, its easy to tell the words sting Kiba harshly.* K: "I.. I'm sorry. I promise I'll make it up to you later, but this isn't the time! Please go back to the Valley and play with Gip. I don't want to lose you..." Now to be harsh...
And I'm gone, see you all later! Two small objects float slowly through the Temple. One lands near the alter with a note saying: "For SGH, a draconic gift. Signed Db3." The other floats over to Acme, also bearing a note: "I'm glad your back, Acme. Have a small gift from the Sea. -Kaelar and Rio." For SGH
For Acme
Spoiler:
The object reveals itself as a small box. Within it are three small vials of liquid adamantine (think Terminator), with instructions on how to use it, simple let it come in contact with your body. There is also a small amulet with an inscription on the back: "To better work underwater, if need be. K&R." Oroth and Aidan can be seen in hammocks under a copse of trees eating, talking and laughing. As Alaina glances toward them , she sees two auras, one dark and one blue, but cannot tell who's is who's. She forgets about them when SGH speaks in her mind(see above post). As a side-note, LJ might also notice the blue aura. Alaina, the Fire Flower wrote: Alaina casts about, using her Greensight and her tie to the Sun to determine where this new energy is coming from As Alaina talks to Delvyn and searches for the new flame, shadows darken her scrying, covering the Oasis in her mind's eye. You didn't think I'd make it easy, did you?
