Now we see what it's like with pwoerful characters against a powerful summoner. It's a CR8 encounter (CR9 considering equipment) and that was pretty fair.
And at least Felicitas wasn't really optimized or anything. I took slightly over 30 min making that character.
It's CR8, gear is minimal. You took longer than 1 hour actually, we had to wait for you, remember ;>
And I am definitely not feeling the powerful summoner vibe - Oh No!
Singer moves to EE15 and casts glitterdust centered on the eidolon (10 ft radius would thus include the summoner)
DC 16
EE15, and you can spot the eidolon how?
lower right corner of EE15 and lower right corner of LL4, I do believe i can draw a straight line between the two, which means i can see the square, and thus have line of effect to any corner in it including the middle of the eidolon.
On my map this cannot be done, will check.
Sorry, coop and or barn interfere from all corners at ee15

you are jumping right into round 3 , just before kittys charge.
Just remember to keep pressure high on summoner, while not letting doggy charge. Felicitas/Kitty/doggy and to a lesser degree Paly are MAD ( Mutually assured destruction) considering charges. If Doggi must charge before you can get to summoner let it charge Paly, since he can best avoid attacks/ stand the punishment.
If neccessary i think i can run the whole party, will just have to be careful as the current statistics contain buffs, though I think i would likely replicate most of them, but not all depending on the situation.
Want to give it a try?
Why not, probably will be some crying anyway (if PCs die)
So the playtest yesterday lead to a pretty handy win for the party over the summoner, though I think at least part of that was the summoner trying to wait for the perfect moment to strike and getting nailed in the process.
Any thoughts on doing another today?
Yes and the HP were off, Kitty would have been toast if I had caught that mistake sooner.
perhaps a little less cat and mouse today? Since it was you that wanted to test the 'soft' side of things.
Soft side has nothing to do with it, at round 3 you were drawn out and 1-1 summoner + eidolon is a meatgrinder.
So that little hp oversight killed the playtest - mistakes were made again.
But we will see how things go today, oh yeas we will

Insanity points, corruption points, you've got to get them all :>
Yes I threw a grenade into a crowd of people to kill the bionic assassin, yes it killed the peons and the assassin escaped, but it was NECESSARY.
Fear is my ally, so if my companions soil their trousers because they look at me when they shouldn't, because I have the fear aura thingy up....sucks to be them.
It's easy to be a homicidal maniac with a mandate from the inquisition in Dark Heresy, it's fun too! Sadly, your homicidal maniac is quite squishy......
I am sorry to announce that playtest #2 was slighlty botched as well. Yesterday I discovered that the hp for the eidolon are off, by 10 points. It should have 71hp not 61 (stupid addition mistake on my part).
I'll see if I can correct it at the wiki.
I get to 66,5: 7*5.5+7*4
Remember It gets companion HD not full on first.
I made a blanket ruling on first dice in the a man and his dog thread. But even with that ruling in place, Kitty's hp are off too.... with full die at 1st your kitty has only 54hp and only 51 with 1/2.
