Oh, I like hodgepodges of styles and cultures! I'd be happy to cobble something together for you over the next couple of days.

That'd be wonderful. Thanks so much.

I love it when a character's equipment tells a story about where he's been and what he's done. A +1 lonsword taken off an evil warrior, armor looted from a bugbear, a cloak of resistance taken off a drow priestess, etc. Each of those would look wildly different. And IMO makes the character more interesting.

In Mal's case, the rapier is from a human sailor and the dagger is from a half-orc mercenary. I'll leave you to develop the rest.

I have a request one of the characters in my RotRL campaign.

Malgrim Shalefist

CN male Dwarf Rogue

Appearance:

A Dwarven Rogue. This guy has ATTITUDE. He's built like a brick house. His look seems to say "You talkin' to me? YOU talkin' to ME?" as he strokes his beard. His hair and beard are dark red, and his nose looks like it has been broken a few too many times. He wears studded leather armor, and his equipment is thrown together, a hodgepodge of styles and cultures. His belt loops around his waist twice, and bugles with pouches and equipment. Potions, poisons, flasks of acid, tools, lockpicks, and various sharp objects hang on it, along with a human-made rapier, and a crude orcish dagger.

A little background for flavor:

Mal is from Riddleport. His father worked the gas forges, and growing up, the young dwarf quickly realized the traditional dwarven life of toil wasn't for him. He joined the collection of thugs and brutes that make up Riddleport's watch, and was soon making a pretty penny in bribes and protection fees. Soon though, he crossed another thug who was just a little too tough and had to flee down the coast, finding himself in a little backwater called Sandpoint...

I personally can't get enough dinosaurs in D&D. The Savage Tide adventure path is one of my favorites for that very reason. Nothing beats the look on the faces of the pirates when they saw my Paladin bounding down to the Farshore docks mounted on an allosaurus...

I think 5 or 6 is a good number for the dinosaurs in pathfinder. If you make too many, it gets a little confusing and redundant.

Of the four I'd like to see, there's the T-rex (obviously), the velociraptor, some huge herbivore like the apatosaurus, and jusr for kicks, the parasaurolophus ala Savage Tide, cause I think they look cool.

As for giving them special abilities, I think it's a fine idea. I bring up the dilophosaurus from Jurassic Park that spit poison. Maybe the parasaurolophus has some kind of sonic attack from it's hammerhead thing.

Nothing really bugged me about previous dinosaurs really.

Thanks so much. That's great flavor for when I'm running the Kaijitsu family.

Tsuto has her locked up in an old storage room in the basement. It's area A21 on the map of the Glassworks.

My gaming is group is getting ready to play RotRL and I was wondering...where in Golarion did the Kaijitsu family orginate. There's a reference to some place called "Minkai", but I can't find it on the map of Golarion.

I know Lonjiku was born in Magnimar, but I was just curious as to where his culture originated, since one of my players is interested in playing a samurai or monk from the same area.

Thanks.
