Who is responsible for the Azruverda?
That pic is going to haunt my dreams.
How about a color pic of Imrijka the Iconic Inquisitor?
All you have on your website is a sketch. In fact there are only two pics of our Half-orc Iconic. Is she camera shy? Did she eat all the donuts in the break room? Did Cosmo break her heart?
River is my Iconic Wilder.
Great power, but no training or control. Her powers are mainly Telepathic and Clairsentient, but she definitely has Animal Affinity to boost her physical abilities when needed, and throw in Skate and Body Equilibrium and you have her apparent super-dexterity.
Xena has always been my Iconic Psychic Warrior.
It explains why sometimes she is unstoppable and other times, she is out of power points.
I have always wanted to see some variant Griffons, combining other birds and cats.
Raven/ Panther
Owl/ Snow Leopard
Falcon/ Cheetah
Vulture/ Cougar
Osprey/ Tiger
Condor/ Jaguar
Parrot/ Ocelot
Kestrel/ Lynx
And for a Dire Griffon :D
Blood Hawk/ Liger or
Terror Bird/ Saber-tooth
I like what I see with the Savant, but I would really like to see some examples of Trades and Avatars. And of course an Iconic Savant would always be good, especially stated out.
Sometimes I need to "see" the class to fully understand it.
Also, how do you use the Savant as a NPC? If he can add one item to his book a day, what would a 6th level or 15th level Savant have in his book?
How do the Werewolf tribes react to the temple being restored and consecrated?
Hey she petrified a Triceratops! She showed us who was the greater monster in that scene.
But as to my first Medusa, it had to be the one in the 7 Faces of Dr Lao. Of course I latter learned "she" was Tony Randal in drag, which makes "her" even more disturbing.
Hmmm, maybe that's why we see any male Medusas?
I only get them because they are part of my subscription, personally I wish they were not. I love maps, but as others have said, with the pdf of the adventure, I already have this map.
Mow if the map pack came with additional content, not included with the adventure; player handouts, player maps or such, I might be more interested.

I got my copy Thursday and have to say it has addressed almost all of my concerns about Psionics. I am working up a proper review, but here is a quick review;
The races are fixed up in small ways, for example Psionic Aptitude allows you to add 1 Power point instead of a skill point or hit point. The Ophiduan will fit nicely into Golarion as a race touched or created by the Serpentfolk.
The Psion Specialists are now "Special", all now having unique class-abilities. Also we now have a generalist version of the Psion.
The Psychic Warrior has been given Warrior's Paths, that allow for customization and make it more than a fighter with psychic powers.
The Soulknife has been given the best overhaul, with full BAB and all those Soulknife feats worked in as "Blade Skills". You can create a dozen Soulknives without using the same Blade skill twice.
The Wilder has Surge types, for example the Artificer Surge gives a Wilder the ability to surge psionic items.
Skills and feats have been cleaned up and Powers look very good. All those "Psionic Spell" powers have been tweaked into new powers. For example Psionic Knock is now Breach. The lack of 0-level talents that can be used for free like cantrips has been fixed with a form of lesser augmentation that allows you to manifest certain powers for free.
Psionic items and monsters finish out the book, just the basics here.
There is a lot of good stuff here and I hope to see it built upon with additional books. I am already looking how some of my unused "The Mind's Eye" ideas can be reworked based off this book.

Don't overlook a well placed garden.
Vines and creepers could either block or give you something to teleport into. Wicker and bamboo lattice could be nasty to teleport into, and you think a splinter hurts!
And there could be magical plants that can be used as Hazards.
Here is one I had worked up for the Mind's Eye that was never used;
--------------------------------
A'porter Burrs (Hazard)
Fine Plant (Psionic)
Climate/Terrain: Any place where teleportation or extra-dimensional travel is common.
These appear to be a variety of sand burrs, but seem to be able to grow in any environment. They are most commonly found in areas with extra-dimensional travelers or teleporters and are sometimes spread on purpose. The burrs, when attached to a creature or their clothing that uses any form of teleportation or extra-dimensional travel or summoning power has a much greater chance of being “Off Target” when using the above abilities.
The target creature must make a Will save, DC10 + 2 per burr, whenever any spell, power or special ability is used by the creature that has the Teleportation, Calling or Summoning descriptor. A failed check causes the spell/ power to go off target, call or summon the wrong creature or summon a creature without controlling it.
All I can imagine holding this shipment up is if customs agents opened up a cargo container and it was full of a hundred or so of Flumphs.
Flumphs who were told that we humans speak in LOL cat.
And the creature that told them this also ordered a dozen or so Pizzas to be delivered to the customs agents.

I am working up a review, but here is the short version.
Setting: In this version, the Hadron Collider is to blame for Gamma World. Something went wrong and it shot a hole thru an unknown number of alternate realities, which then collapsed back onto our world. Among the realities are ones where the cold war went hot and the missiles were fire; where Nikola Tesla created an army of robots to take over the world; where dinosaurs never went extinct; where the Gray Aliens envoy was not shot down in Roswell, and so on.
Rules: The ruleset is a simplified version of 4E and it is about as simple as it can get. There are no races or classes, every one uses the same advancement table that is only 10 levels long. You roll or chose 2 Origins and combine them. If you take Engineered Human and Android, you have a Cyborg. Each origin comes with traits and powers.
Then you have Alpha Mutations and Omega Tech and these are the cards. Depending on your level, you can have 1 to 3 Alpha Mutations readied and as many Omega Tech as you can find. You create your decks, but the GM has the right to slip in a few of his card to make thing interesting. Your Alpha mutations change (you discard and draw another) each morning or when you encounter an Alpha Flux (where different realities merge). You can also attempt to Overcharge your mutation by rolling a D20. 10 or higher, you get a bonus effect, 9 or less you get a defect effect.
You draw an Omega Tech card whenever you find one as treasure. Whenever you use it there is a chance it will burn out. If that happens you either discard it or if you have a high enough level, you can Salvage it into gear than functions with a lesser effect. Weapons and armor are listed by basic descriptions; Light Melee, Heavy armor, Medium Ranged, etc.
Value for the money: Not there! The box it comes in is 3/4 empty. The rulebook is a 160 page paperback with full color but questionable art. There are no dice included, which is strange since this is supposed to be an "out of the box" game. You get cards that are modified versions of the booster pack cards (these cards have a Radiation symbol, the boosters have an Atom). And you get a single booster pack with only 8 cards. Yeah, an 8 card booster pack for $3.50 and they don't seem to be available at most places.
Another problem with the cards is that there is no list included. In fact, there are no Alpha Mutations or Omega Tech lists in the rulebook. This does make it hard on the GM when he doesn't know what the PCs might bring to the table. There is a list on WotC Gamma World message boards. And since the game is so dependent on the cards, how do you introduce new Mutations and Tech into the game?
If WotC had put more though and effort into this game, I think it could have been the best version of Gamma World ever, but is definitely a "some assembly required" product.
You could probably make a good Bones Oracle based off Ichigo from Bleach.
He starts off Haunted and can talk to the dead spirits. And he later gains Armor of Bones (Hollow Mask), causes Bleeding Wounds, and survives Near Death many times.
As for a Fire Oracle, Liz Sherman from Hellboy might be a good template. She is definitively haunted, and would be different from most fire casters because she is dedicated to controlling and preventing (forest) fires.
Any word when we will see more Mysteries for Oracles?
Don't look now, but you are on IO9.
IO9 Gen Con
How come nobody mentioned the Giant Magic:The Gathering cards? Makes it hard to keep a forest up your sleeve.
I vote for Lora as Feiya, the iconic witch.
I also suggest that Jodi get the original print of the art from page 56 of Pathfinder 36.
I assume that's Sean at the bottom of the throne ;)
I do like the Oracle class, but I would like more ideas on what each kind of oracle would look like. So describe how you would envision an Oracle of each Mystery?
Battle is easy, Neji Hyuga from Naruto. He already had "Clouded Eyes" and is a deadly combatant within a 50 yard radius.
For Bones, I guess it would be too easy to with Goth, although a Gothic Lolita noble in Cheliax would be interesting.
For Nature I see a variation of the Wasting curse. An oracle whose body has a parasitic plant, like mistletoe, growing within and out of their body. I can see them picking off a berry out of their hair and offering to the PCs.
For Lore I have a new curse, Slave. They must wear shackles and chains binding them to their mystery, in this case to books they must carry at all times, like Jacob Marley. The books and chains slow movement and hinder stealth, but can be used as weapons to trip and flail in battle.
Anyone getting a Turok, Son of Stone vibe from the Comanche? The other guy even looks like Andar.
I think we need a ballistic gel T-Rex.

I haven't seen color iconics for APG.
They are on the last page of the Faction Guide
You need to try the Factotum from Dungeonscape.
He is good for a "Know Everything" PC, and even more so if you combine him with the Exemplar Prestige Class from Complete adventurer.
Of course if you want a "Do Anything" PC, use the Chameleon Prestige Class from Races of Destiny.
Sean K Reynolds wrote: hogarth wrote: Why did the kyton in the picture trade in his spiked chain for a giant banana? That's a cowboy hat! Probably made from someone he killed! A Hat is a Badge of Honor!
Now that one was good!
Aztec Jaguar Warrior vs African Zande Warrior
Got to see an Atlatl (Spear Thrower) and a Kpinga (or Hunga Munga) throwing blade in use.
And that Obsidian Chip Macuahuitl Blade made me wonder, can a non-magical weapon have a magical special ability like Wounding?
Dungeonscape
If you want a "Pathfinder" class, use the Factotum.
And yes the Chameleon PrC from Races of Destiny fits with it perfectly.
It does have two "dead levels", but I filled these with "Bonus feat" the Chameleon has; you get to choose/change any feat you qualify for each day.
That could help with your combat needs.
Plus her death and possible fall would be one way of explaining how Anakin went from Clone Wars cocky to Revenge of the Sith whiny.
94 A noble's daughter disguised as a man to go to the bar and is overcompensating in being "manly".
95 The guy you just bumped is wanted and very paranoid.
96 When you spilled your drink on another patron, his disguise washed off.
97 When you slapped him on the back, the charm wore off.
98 Someone just cast a Dispel Magic nearby and the polymorph wore off.
99 When you spilled his drink, the assassin that poisoned it gets mad.
100 All of the above
Sword of Mars????
I didn't know Attila played D&D.
97: You do not belong here! You should not have been resurrected and every outsider you meet; good, neutral and evil will see this instantly and be hostile to you.
98: King Me! Your return was due to a divine chess match and you are a pawn turned into a king and your life will now be part of the game.
99: I'm not me! You were resurrected at exactly the same time someone else was and you switched bodies.
It is nice to see some of the more exotic weapons being wielded instead of just a drawing on a page and my next Barbarian will definitely be wielding a Taiaha. It might make a good Druid weapon as it is Wood and Jade.
Oh and this season will include Attila the Hun vs Alexander the Great this week and Vlad the Impaler vs Sun Tzu near the end of the season.
Deadliest Warrior
Poor Valeros gets let out?
Sajan gets a Scroll
Merisiel gets a Bag
Seltyiel gets a Cube
Harsk gets to Draw a Card
Lem gets someone's Goat
Seelah gets a Helm
Lini gets to blow her own Horn
Ezren Gets a Sphere
Seoni gets to invite all her artists to a Staff Party
Amiri gets to kill the Jabberwocky
Kyra gets to find the Well home
But Valeros gets nothing?
Unless that is him on the cover and he got a Girdle!
When I contacted them, they said they sold out because the number of orders greatly exceeded what they had ordered from their distributor.
And they were trying to find more but were not expecting to get any.
Something needs to be done about their regular sales.
I had to cancel all my subscriptions when I lost my job, but I do some online surveys and I got over 20 of them in two weeks. That was enough for almost $50 in Amazon.com gift cards. I ordered all the February & March books, but they never shipped.
Amazon kept saying they had not been released, then that they had sold out and finally that they could not find any more. So I canceled them.
It is kind of ironic that a company that made it big as a bookseller can't seem to sell books anymore.
If you want an alternative to the Profession Skill, how about something like D20 Modern's Occupations?
You would gain 1-3 bonus class skills, maybe a half of a feat or a Trait, circumstance bonus to certain skills and a wealth bonus (an alternate amount gained for D&D).
The list of skills shows what is required to excel in this profession, and we could bring back the Synergy bonus as a form of a skill challenge, with each successful use of a related skill, the circumstance bonus increases.
Here's the ones I suggested in the Scry & Die Thread.
23 Divert Teleport: Everyone in the closet
24 Stasis Teleport: Your raid is important to us, please wait and we will be with you as soon as possible
25 Teleport Glyph (Fatigue, Stun, Enervate, Petrify): Oh shiny!
26 Scry Symbol: Here look at this instead
27 Scry Flash: Smile!
28 Sensor Trap (Fascinate, Blind, Disjunction): Pretty Colors
29 Scry Identify: I know what you did last summer
And don't forget the Star Trek limitations.
How many times were the sensors blocked by natural mineral deposits? How often could they not use the Transporters due to "energy fields"?
Well what about Eberron's manifest zones? A haunted building? Faerie Rings? Area's that have been Dispelled or Dismissed. Just having a bunch a magic wards and spells could interfere with either spell.
And of course the best option is the Contingency spell. Nothing say Firewall than a Wall of Fire spell linked to the contingency of someone telporting into this room. Illusions can be linked to a Scry sensor being present. Bring in the Chain Contingency spell and you can locate the where the scrying is coming from and counter attack.
And there are always room for more spells; Divert Teleport, Stasis Teleport, Teleport Glyph (Fatigue, Stun, Enervate, Petrify). And for the Diviners; Scry Symbol, Scry Flash, Sensor Trap (Fascinate, Blind, Disjunction).

If you are going to keep the curses, I think they should be tied directly to the mysteries you choose.

I am glad to see the Brigadier, my one complaint about the initial set was it was a little too focused on David Tennant's doctor.
But I loved the fact that it was a Boxed Set RPG with dice!
Love to see a Pathfinder set like that, hint, hint, nudge, nudge
Multiple Malware programs later, I hope it is gone.
It is like giving your computer an enema, you hope everything comes out clean this time.
Damn it is still here.
And BTW it imported the Paizo golem into it's tab next to the "By LoudMo".
I have cleared all the Cookies, Ran clean up several times, searched for the names on the add/survey, and reinstalled Firefox.
I am running out of ideas.
Well after cleaning out my Cookie jar, it has not returned.
I had it pop up on two other sites, still pretending to be a survey for that site. The web address does not change and it is not a pop-up in the traditional sense, but it got by every defense on my computer.
I have added a few more add-ons to my Firefox in the security department and now have to figure out how it got on my computer.
The most likely suspect was an embedded video on site that installed a Flash Media Player, I think it was FLV, without permission. I uninstalled it immediately, but my problems happened shortly after that.
OK, I bounced from site to site and got it to happen again, this time at IO9.
This thing is originating from Direct CPV advertising Network.
http://www.directcpv.com/
Just like the one here, It "appears" to be a survey for the site you just logged on to, this one had IO9 on the title page, but in the small print said that it had nothing to do with IO9.
My pop-up killer is on and I have a few other add killers in my Firefox add-ons, but this thing slipped right by them.
Three times now, I get a survey when I log on to Paizo. It says Paizo Press at the top of the page, but says it has nothing to do with Paizo in the small print.
The Page is tagged "By Loud Mo".
The survey is about internet usage and offers a "free prize" for finishing it. Of course the prize has a Shipping & handling charge for more than the prize is worth.
I thought it might be a virus or spyware and ran a deep scan, but got nothing. I also searched "LoudMo" and it says it is "Pay for Instal Affiliate Program".
I went into my History, but the survey page isn't there. I did find the "Prize" page;
http://www.mygenevawatch.com/defaultv2.aspx?enc=fskep08/49W/eAvSWEGaxa/dMNz pYGLEv6OlC7EcoWEP/GSoeukD8Oj1FdxKFwc2JFBhJjofzE1fVaaYNW2l10zJcrduO3r+TcGYGf HpGgI=
Those Zombies are going to be Skeletons by the time they get here.
I envision Wes stalking the hallways with Nerf weaponry.
He waits patiently for a single target to linger, he aims, and screams "Blog!!" and fires.
Order #1293069 Just showed up and it has 2 copies of Cities of Golarion.
I was only missing 1 from my last order.
Now if you want to send me something special for Christmas,....
Malachi Tarchannen wrote: I understand your concern about the alchemist being "equipment oriented." But so is the fighter, wizard, paladin, rogue, cleric, barbarian, bard, and well...just about every other class except the sorcerer.
Catch a PC and remove all his equipment--regardless of class--and he's completely nerfed or, at best, severely limited. A wizard may have a cache of spells in his brain, but without his spellbook, he's screwed come tomorrow.
That said, the "throw bomb" option is a very good one, but as you said, the class could use a few other options up front.
Yes, but swords are rather common to find and even a stick can be an effective club.
With alchemical regents, you either have to go out of your way to include them (You killed a rat! You find a Philosopher's Stone!) or you have to hand-wave it and let him just always have what he needs (like material components)

First Impressions?
I don't really get this class. You can't aid your other party members unless you choose to take the "Infusion" discovery and you can't do that till 4th level.
You have a very limited list of options and spells, mostly limited to "Throw Bomb". That might work in a Video Game, but in a Role Playing Game I would like more options.
This class is very equipment oriented. Remember the classic Slave Lord adventures? There was a part where the PCs are caught and stripped of all their equipment. An Alchemist would be useless in that setting. Aside from "Poison Resistance", all their class abilities are dependent on having their personal equipment.
What if they do not have access to an Alchemy lab? In Legacy of Fire, the PCs go from an other dimensional Archipelago to the City of Brass to facing the big bad. Where would an Alchemist have a chance to refill his regents and extracts?
For what I see, I would only use this class as NPC and as bad guys, a Drow Alchemist would be good in Second Darkness: The Armageddon Echo.
Some Transformation evolutions would be nice;
Figurine: Your Eidolon transforms into a tiny figurine and can be changed back as a free action.
Familiar: Your Eidolon transforms into the shape of a Familiar (your choice what type).
Decoy: Your Eidolon transforms into a copy of yourself, but retains all of it;s abilities.
I have to say if there is a unique spell list, there will need to be an explanation on what can and cannot be added and how. For example, I would allow the "Arcane Eye" spell, but in the Summoner's version, he summons a Tiny creature to serve as the scry sensor. The spell functions exactly the same, but now fits the theme of the Summoner.
One question I do have about his spell list, does he have to take the Summon Monster spells? Since he gets all of them as a Spell-like ability, it would make more sense to automatically add the to his list at the correct level. It seems like a "spell tax" to an already limited choice to make a Summoner have to choose "Summon Monster" spells.
I would also add the "Summon Nature's Ally" spells to his list, if he is going to be a Summoner, he should be able to summon anything.
...but in "fluff" terms, no meta-game stats.
How does your summoner "see" his eidolon? Friend, Pet or Slave?
Where does your witch think her powers come from? Whispers in the dark? Guardian Angel? Her familiar?
Describe a 1st level Summoner who just summoned her Eidolon for the first time.
Did your 1st level witch find his familiar or did it find him?
What role does a 20th level Summoner fill in the world? Hermit alone with all his "friends" or ruler using his summons to control the population.
What about a 20th level witch? Is she an avatar for a greater power or a guardian in on a great secret?
Describe them as bad guys, what sets apart a Dark Summoner from the rest and does a Dark Witch aspire to become a Hag?
