This might sound like a counterdiction but I would like to see both. A set of rules to make much more complete and complex monsters and NPC's when needed. And rules for making up fast quick mooks that can still be a challenge. I know a hard thing to build a game that can do both.

Soon as I get a chance i will take a look and see if I can set a few play test games up and give feedback.

Well I was partially right. i posted on another forum this announcement might be you was going or not going 4e. I was I think wrong on the reason but right on what the annoucement was.

Good luck and i hope you can pull this off. i will support Paizo as much as my bank account and job allow. :)

Ah ok thanks, that would explain why i couldn't find it then.

wasn't sure where to post this so going to post it here.

Is there any way we could have a gallery posted up for each Paizo book? I really like the artwork in the books and much of it would make good wallpapers or good picture for my screen saver. Which rotates a series of images out of a file. I have gotten all the ones from the blog but was hoping maybe we could get a complete gallery of each book.

That for me at least only list different ways to ship it. Not a option to have products held and shipped all at one time.

I have a similar question. Where exactly is this option to have things be shipped in a single shippment? I have looked around and can't seem to find it.

Yeah i knew you posted here as well. I have been lurking for a bit but only recently started to post here as well.

Ok thanks, thats what I thought. Since earlier it did show it as shipping but since then it no longer listed it. So just wanted to be sure. Thanks for checking.

The thing is, with the advent of PDF publishing, one line could be relegated to "electronic format only" and assigned entirely - or primarily - to freelancers (though this would probably have to be the 3.x line, given familiarity + the $5K "buy-in" to see 4E before the official release date).

Paizo could, essentially, do editing and layout for one line while producing the other.
Unless they're an even smaller company than I realized?
I think a lot of folks share your misperception of electronic publishing. PDFs lower the cost of distribution, but that's not the problem here. You still have to write, edit, and lay it out; you still have to pay writers and artists; you still have to spend just as many people-hours on it. Creating a secondary electronic-only line is just as much work as creating a secondary print line. (Sure, we don't have to actually *print* it—but we pay people in China to do that anyway, so it's the same to us.)

I don't know how fesible it would be, but maybe have 3.5 pdf versions of the products if paizo goes 4e. I mean most of the book would only need to be written once, the fluff wouldn't change only the crunch. It might not be perfect but it might be workable. Guess it really depends on if the added sales would offset the additional cost of doing basicly double crunch for each book.

I know on Necro where I post a lot, they are talking about offering free 3.5 crunch to use with their stuff. if the GSL allows it and it is profitable still. Anyways just a thought.

For me personally i don't care which one it is when it comes to campaign world settings or adventures or books of mostly fluff stuff. I can change the crunch easily enough. i mean I have used DnD worlds and adventures in a wide range of games before from Savage Worlds, to Rolemaster to GURPS.

So as long as Paizo keeps up the quality of products, especially if the stay fluff heavy I will keep buying them.

Could you check and make sure that number 6 is still going to be shipped? I only ask cause my page no longer shows that order as shipping it just goes to a link page of where I order the subscription. My other two books are shipped and 7 in pending but 6 no longer shows up.

The order number is 907501, which no longer shows pending or shipped on it. Or for that matter even lists issue 6 anymore.

Just to be clear incase i wasn't before and it caused confusion. I order the subscription and wanted to start with issue 6 since I didn't have it yet and then wanted to have issue 7, 8 ect all shipped when they could be. i know 7 was due to ship soon as well. Which i was fine with getting both issue 6 and 7 shipped in the same month. In fact that is what I was hoping for.

If that is a problem and i can't do that, thats ok I will just order issue 6 seperately then. I am just trying to confirm if I will be getting issue 6 and 7 this month with my subscription.

Thanks for checking into this.

Yeah mine did the same thing. Which I posted in another thread. Number 7 is now listed as pending and 8 to be shipped next. 6 is no longer listed but before it was listed as shipped and it still lists a seperate charge for the subscription. So i am assuming that means 6 was indeed shipped already.

I will know for sure in a couple of days I am sure. I am confident it was, cause because it said it would be and the charge still shows up and the link for a PDF is still there.

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Ok thanks, that was what I was hoping for.

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Yeah i went ahead and order a couple of things and signed up for the pathfinder subscription hopefully my mailman isn't a complete idiot and can read.

But now I have a NEW question. I ordered the subscription and started with number 6 since I didn't have it yet anyways. i thought I would get sent 7 next or at the same time. But it shows 6 is already sent and that next I will be sent number 8. Is there anyway to get 7 sent as well or will i just have to go order it seperately?

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

Thanks for the reply, one last question and i promise that will be it. If I subscribed to pathfinder now would I still be able to get the 1st new path finder book that I believe came out earlier this month unless I am mistaken?

Cheliax (Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Adventure Path, Campaign Setting, Companion, Modules Subscriber)

I currently have some of the PDF's which i like. Enough i am tempted to subscribe to get all the new ones from now on. That and with the discount to order some of stuff I still don't have.

Anyways my question is this. How is the books shipped each month? By that I mean are they in a box, or just wrapped up or what? The reason i ask is where I live their is very small mail boxes and my mailman likes to mangle things to make them fit in the box unless they are sent in a box. Which would really suck to get them all messed up.
