the advanced version is different from the stuff you get from normal weapon training.

The advanced gives you bonus to CMD against everything if you have your weapon.

Normal version is boosted CMD if someone is making a sunder or disarm against your weapon in the group. So if your group is dagger than when you are "defending against a sunder attempt made at your dagger" you get the CMD bonus. So if they were trying to sunder your armor while you held your dagger it wouldn't do anything for you with the normal version.

I just wanted to make sure you got a bonus to your CMD against disarms against your Blade.

For example, My group is two-handed weapons, so I would get my weapon training to CMD as long as someone was attacking my great-sword.

Or would I only get it if someone was attacking me with another Two-handed weapon?

Fighter's weapon training says "A fighter also adds this bonus to any combat maneuver checks made with weapons from his group. This bonus also applies to the fighter’s Combat Maneuver Defense when defending against disarm and sunder attempts made against weapons from this group."

So I assumed you could only add the weapon training bonus to CMD if you were attacked by a weapon in your weapon group, but down in the advanced weapon training for Combat Maneuver Defense it says : "When the fighter is wielding weapons from the associated weapon group, his weapon training bonus applies to his CMD against all combat maneuvers attempted against him, instead of just against disarm and sunder combat maneuvers."

So do you add the weapon training to CMD if you are Wielding your weapon on being attacked by it?

I understand. It is unfortunate, but it makes sense. Thank you all.

What is your quote from?
Can you explain more on how to fix the problem?
And I understand what you are saying, but once weapon specialist kicks in, it's no longer a prerequisite at that point, it's just a duplicate. My Dm house ruled it's ok, but I went with your logic because 4 extra feats made me really strong, and my character is strong enough

But in weapon specialist it says " The fighter is also considered to have those feats with these weapons for the purpose of meeting prerequisites." I wouldn't have considered it if it wasn't for that line. It indicates that it can be used to count towards prerequisites, I just have to have the feat before I have that ability. (I know it isn't as the ability was intended, but as written would it work?)

For Weapon Specialist, could I then retrain the feats I picked for other feats and basically use weapon specialist as a place holder for weapon focus/specialization.
