While I wasn't able to keep my preorder of the core book, I still managed to snag a 1st edition copy from my FLGS. I have to say, the rules have met and even exceeded my expectations! Thank you to everyone at Paizo for making this game and involving the players in the development process. I look forward to seeing Pathfinder products for many years to come. You have my support and that of my gaming group :)

I absolutely love the changes to these classic monsters, and can't wait for the full Bestiary!

I've listened to both sides of the debate with the new edition, particularly for FR, and for those that enjoy what's been changed, and look forward to the further fleshing-out of this new rendition of a classic setting, this book is definitely worth the money. The new class information is excellent, especially the introduction of the Swordmage class, and the fluff itself is a perfect start for budding and experienced FR players alike in this new age of the game.

I just couldn't do it. I tried playing in these new Realms, but...they weren't the Realms I know and love. Changing things up, making them different...that's one thing, but to alter the Realms so drastically that they're barely recognizable is yet another. I did what Greenwood asked and gave them a shot, though, and I still didn't like what I saw.
