I noticed that too. No pettish, moderately condescending greeting...no promises of pleasure should you succeed (or pain if you fail). Maybe she was having an off day...

Sounds about right to me :)

You're gonna be in the booth too? Nice.

"booth"

MUAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH

And suddenly I'm very, very nervous...

That's too bad, but I know how that can be. Still, I like meeting other Chroniclers, even if I haven't been terribly active (I'm honestly still trying to figure out the technical bits. Uploading and whatnot. >_>)

Sounds like it's going to be awesome. :)

Speaking of whether or not things were received, was my short story received? I don't think I got word one way or the other on that.

I'd like to throw in my thoughts, I suppose. Paizocon was really my first con, period, and the experience was amazing. Yeah, I was kinda bummed that I wasn't aware of the lottery, so I wasn't signed up for anything, but that didn't keep me from having a good time :)

I'd like to thank James Sutter and everyone else at the Fiction Workshop for letting me sit in. That was probably the main thing I really wanted to go to last year, and despite being a hanger-on I had a lot of fun. It was great to meet everyone, too...Zuxius, Lilith, Neil, James, and everyone else at the workshop.

For someone like me, who's naturally shy and normally has to push myself to really interact with people I don't know, this con was still amazing. Everyone was wonderful, and although I didn't meet everyone I wanted to, it was just great to be there and soak up all the energy in that place. This year I'm getting more involved (I'm in the fiction workshop this time around, yay! and you'll see me at the banquet ^_^), and I really hope to get to know and interact with you all more. As much fun as I had, I feel like I missed out on half the fun, so I intend to not make the same mistake.

I've got a couple of games in, but honestly I'm more interested in the panels and such. :)

Of course, I didn't get into the one game absolutely majorly wanted to play -_-

I'm eagar to know who illustrated my piece as well, and if mine made it
into the print version

Yup. This'll be my first GenCon too, so I'm excited, even if I'll basically be working through the whole thing :)

Hey, what about us lowly booth grunts? *grins*

works for me. I'll be there :)

Alrighty, no worries. Sadly, my dad won't be there (he'll be out of town this weekend). If you guys would prefer sunday, that's fine too. I don't mind either way.

Yeah, sadly. I work from 5pm to 10pm

yeah, 37 or 47 (I've been -itching- to play 47, even, so that's wonderful). As for days, I can't devote the entire weekend, as I need to keep an eye on my parents' place, but Saturday or Sunday should work best for me (Saturday preferred, but whatever works).

Cats are a non-issue for me. Technically allergic, but I have yet to see proof.

I wouldn't be adverse to it, certainly :)

Heh, you know what's crazy? I may have lost the fire resistance after playing the first session, but the second session leveled me up and I got it back :)

The question being, which Daleks? Old-school, or the new variety, in five delicious flavors :)

Daleks. Exterminate the Rainbow.

I was really hoping to get into Shadow of the Fellnight Queen, but oh well. I got at least one of the games I wanted :)

I'll be there, you can bet. I look forward to this one.

No worries. Easy enough to take care of.

I concur. Always a blast, and I'm sorry I couldn't stay for the whole thing.

Hey, folks. Sadly, I need to cancel my Pathfinder RPG subscription. With the new house and everything, money's really tight right now, so I need to cut things back a bit. Thanks.

-Dane

thank you very much. I've already posted a preview of the next story I'm writing, so stay tuned! I'll try to keep things as updated as possible.

Heh, or maybe not. We'll just have to see how I'm feeling.

I wasn't sure where to put this, really...the 4e section didn't seem quite right, so here it is. I just wanted to share a story I wrote (part of a larger project) pretty much for kicks, set in the Realms post-spellplague (I know...touchy topic, there, but this is simply for entertainment's sake). So if you're interested, check out Darksong at my deviantart page. Enjoy!

hehe, good point. As I said, my father and I will definitely be there. Likely we'll simply drive up on Thursday for dinner, head back down that night, and then drive up the next day for the Con. Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Heh. Hey, now, I did't -dislike- it there overly much, but I have my reasons :)

Anyway, look forward to seeing you all there.

also: We totally need to do #47 at some point. I've been itching to play that one, but if given no other choice I'll run it sometime.

I guess I'm one of the only ones that preferred occ, lol. Oh well.

I'd be glad to run one again, myself. Though there are a few I'm itching to play too

Any word on where we'll be playing this weekend? And any adventure requests? I wouldn't be adverse to running one, so just let me know.

I know I mentioned my writing at the last session. I thought i'd post a link for anyone interested. Kaavelbaelithar.deviantart.com. Darksong is my most recent work.

And I honestly have no issue with the name Antipaladin. The concept of the Antipaladin (and the name) have existed for a long time. Whenever there's been a warrior of law and honor, there's always been the dark opposite. I think everything in between is just kinda overdoing it.

Thanks for the awesome night last night, folks! And happy birthday again to Ltlbttyram and Charlie. Hope the rest of your night went well :)

Hey, folks. It just came to my attention that we won't be able to game at Olympic Cards and Comics this weekend. A new venue has been procured for us, though, so keep an eye open for an e-mail from Lttlbttyram with the address.

Let's not get too hasty here, with the venomous remarks. I don't think the guide made it terribly clear what you're supposed to do in regards to converting season 0 scenarios. My group this last time we met fell victim to a TPK because of crazy crits while playing a converted Season 0 mod, but I'd hardly blame the GM for that. Although he does have a knack for rolling lots of crits. lol. Just our bad luck.

Remember, though, this is a game. Let's not throw around the word "cheater" when it's not warrented. These things happen.

Well regardless, I'll definitely be there. I wasn't able to make it last time, so I'm excited.

I was considering running The Pallid Plague, myself. If everyone wants to play it.

thanks. it just didn't get entered on the sheet I guess. :)

and it really is unfortunate how the last session ended for some of us *sigh* I'll admit that I'm rather attached to the Ailyn character. I guess I'll play her in one of my home games, or something, since she won't be playable in Society games any longer -_-

Heh, that's pretty bad, too...I'm reluctant to play any of my other characters because I enjoyed playing Ailyn so much. Bleh. But I know that the whole ordeal left a bad taste in some of our mouths. But no worries. It happens, I guess...

This is the first I'm hearing of a concrete sunday game, lol. Have fun, though.

I just entered the info for the April 10th session, where you played Decline of Glory, but no one's prestige points were entered. Did no one achieve their mission, or was this just forgotten? Just want to make sure so no one gets shorted points they're supposed to have. Thanks!

Sounds good to me! I look forward to it, especially after missing the last couple of meetings.

I'm afraid I've been kinda sick the last couple of days, so I'm not sure I can make it. Things are all settled at the house, though, so I'll definitely be able to make it next time, and will try and make any "makeup" days that anyone wants to set up.

I'm looking forward to this. Just got my notification about my badge, and my plane tickets are all taken care of, so I'm psyched!

So after seeing some of the artwork from the artist I commissioned to do Ailyn, I couldn't resist a new pic of her. This one's all pinup style, definitely poster-worthy

Ailyn Dartherian

I was told there wasn't going to be an interactive this year, and I'm not sure anything has changed since then. Of course, I could be wrong :)

Definitely something to look into, and I'd be happy to participate. I've been itching to play something more long-term than the one-off adventures from PFS, as much as I enjoy those.

No problem. The net's already up at the new place, though it's a bit out of the way. I need to get a car, because it's ten miles from my place to my work. Oh well, lol. It only takes me half an hour to get from there to OCC though :)

We'll be there. And the reports are entered. I didn't get the info until just recently, but it's covered. :)

Ah, I see. Missed that earlier post. Thanks :)
