I love the GF9 maps. I have them all so far. Waiting for more.
Seven chapter in and loving it. I don't have much time for reading lately and my Pathfinder Tales novels have been piling up unread (Except for Death's Heretic which was awesome).
I decided to try to read the first chapter to see if anything grabbed me and it DID! Can't put it down now.
This is the first I've read or even heard of this author, but man he must be popular cuz the writing style is amazing.
Here is what I pulled from a sealed case:
COMMON
1 Goblin Warrior (Red) x3
2 Goblin Hero (Red) x3
3 Goblin Warrior (Blue) x3
4 Goblin Hero (Blue) x3
5 Orc Brute x3
6 Orc Warrior x3

8 Watch Guard x3
9 Watch Officer x2
10 Lizardfolk Champion x2
11 Zombie None

14 Venomous Snake x3
15 Mummy x3
16 Human Rogue x3
17 Human Ranger x3
18 Elf Wizard x3
19 Half-Elf Cleric x2
20 Dwarf Fighter None
21 Human Druid x2
22 Gnome Fighter x1
23 Dire Rat x1
RARE
24 Gargoyle x2
25 Half-Orc Barbarian x1
26 Spectre x3
27 Seelah, Human Paladin x2
28 Werewolf x2
29 Medusa x2
30 Minotaur x2

34 Chimera x1
35 Manticore x1
36 Giant Caveweaver Spider x1
37 Frost Giant x1
38 Succubus x2

It's crazy that I got only 1 Gnome/Dire Rat out of the whole case, and ZERO zombies. No Dwarf Fighter either. One of my two "Seelah, Human Paladin" came out of the pack with the shield arm broken off.

Still waiting. Seems like I get my PDF's just a half day before the street date lately. Product on shelves at my local game store before I have my subscriptions in hand. If it were not for the PDF's, I might go the amazon route and save some $$
I just got these and am pretty happy with them. Most of them definitely can fit into a fantasy setting like D&D or Pathfinder. As the above post says, they are a little on the small side, but do not look out of place next to my Pathfinder Heroes miniatures or most D&D miniatures.
I'm about 80 pages in, and I'm really enjoying this book. Nice murder mystery and great use of Golarion lore.
Just wondering... Say I get a big tax refund. Could I buy a $500 gift certificate (for example) and apply it to my account. Then each month when my subscriptions ship, the amount can be deducted from my account until its gone?
I saw something that says "cannot be applied to subscriptions" so I'm assuming not. ?? If not why, what would be the difference?
1. John Carpenter's Halloween
I highly recommend "Insidious" which came out on DVD/Blu Ray recently.
Also, I enjoyed "The Crazies"
I would like to point out the obvious fact that there are a TON of basic Orcs, Gnomes, skeletons, manticores, lizardfolk, etc... available to buy on ebay and online shops.
Here is a great opportunity to get some Pathfinder-specific monsters and Iconics in mini-form. Sandpoint Devil, Chupacabra, Devilfish, Pugwampi, Karzoug the Runelord, Skinsaw man, Sin-spawn, (the never produced in PPM) Peryton, & Mimic.
I dont need more of the same, unless it is spectacular. Give us a good sized portion of NEW. (and not just new sculpts, new monsters).
D&D miniatures got fewer and fewer of my dollars because I didn't need or want a 27th version of a Dwarf with Axe, a 3rd version of a Harpy, or a Giant riding an Elephant. Get the monsters from the main monster books DONE, and keep retreads to a minimum.

-Skeld
The Combat Pad does not qualify as "bound printed matter" and it weighs too much for first class so, if shipping by itself, we can't use those either of those options.
thanks

Just include one of your bound and printed little product catalogs in with the package and then it should meet the requirement.

I have some suggestions for the Player Companion line...
I would like to see some of the new classes from Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Combat, and Advanced Players Giude get their own Companion volumes.
Gunslingers of Golarion, Inquisitors of Golarion, etc. We can get new feats, archtypes, abilities, spells, magic items, traits, write up on how the class fits in Golarion etc.
Eventually I would like to see even some of the base classes get this treatment. Druids, Bards, Sorcerers, etc.
I wouldn't mind if some of the new rules systems presented in various AP's were compiled and expanded upon. "Caravan's of Golarion" etc.
A nice expanded treatment of the animal companion, follower, henchman, hireling rules. Maybe with some new material, sample companions and hirelings, etc. "Henchman of Golarion" ?
Player primers for major cities, Absalom, Korvosa, Sandpoint, etc. Showing what a local would know, and what a relatively new comer might know. I know some of these have big books on them, but a short player guide would be nice.
Pictures of this set are here:

My subscription shipment cost this month is $51.22, and suddenly today there is a mysterious charge on my account for $51.22... but from DESPINOS TIRE SERVICE ??? Is that a Paizo subsidiary?
I'm interested in those flip mats. Looked for a private message option, but no luck. try me at thomasbjj at hot mail DOT com
possibility of releasing a PDF of this bad boy???
I'm still waiting as well.
From the picture, it looks like the included Flip-Mat is the previously released "Haunted Dungeon" Flip Mat. Is that correct?
Ordered two sets!
Lets see the rest of the iconics, and start working our way thru the iconic villains and monsters from the APs. (Skinsaw man, Sandpoint Devil, Lamia Matriarch, etc..)
Some of the Gamemastery Item cards have pictures of Holy Symbols. I'm still trying to determine which ones are in which sets (if anyone knows, please post).
I know that Abadar and Zon-Kuthon holy/unholy symbols are in the Curse of the Crimson Throne item card set.
Each of the other Adventure path card set lists at least 2 holy symbols, and sometimes an unholy symbol.
Which holy symbols are in this set? Assuming they are specific to Golarion gods...
Which holy symbols are in this set. The set list says there are two, but no indication on which gods they represent.
If anyone knows off hand, what holy symbols have been in ANY of the Item Card sets to date.
Here's what I know:
Holy Symbol of Abbadar (CotCT)
UnHoly Symbol of Zon-Kuthon (CotCT)
Meant to say take Dodge early in your career, then re-train to Combat Expertise when you are ready for the Feats that require Combat Expertise.
Dodge might be better to start with than Combat Expertise, unless of course you need Combat Expertise to open up a future feat tree.
Dodge gives you the same +1 Dodge bonus, without the to hit penalty of -1 that come with using Combat Expertise.
In Combat Expertise's favor, however, there is a Trait that allows you to reduce 1 point of the To Hit penalty from Combat Expertise. I cannot remember the Trait name of source, but it is in an Official Paizo product. (Not a third party book).
It might be too much of a re-build, but you could beef up the DEX and lower the STR to 13 (for Power Attack). Finesse you attacks and feed of DEX for both To Hit and Defense. Use Power Attack when you need to deal extra damage.

Find out more at PASADENA MEETUP or specifically, the game submission thread for Oct 2nd is here.
Nice! I will make every effort to play in the Pathfinder Society event. If all goes well, once I get a feel for how things run, I will try to GM a scenario at the next available meetup.
Purchased. Still waiting on "Mire of Lost Souls".....
cool, still waiting for Mire of Lost Souls and Bandit Outpost.
Will this be offered here on Paizo's site?
Getting close to release. No previews yet?
Wrote my review, but when I hit the "preview" button it disappeared. I'll try again later.
Finished it today. Nothing but good things to say about it. 5 Star review on it's way once I have time to sort my thoughts and list the cool things to be found in here.
2 months and 10 days, and still counting... waiting for shipment. Keeps getting pushed back to next months shipment.
Almost done reading this one. A very fun read so far. Lots of Paizo product tie-ins (a good thing IMO!). I have not started running Society scenarios for my players yet, but I can't wait to run this one. I'm already planning on foreshadowing several things to build up to this.
Full review when I finish reading it.
I would love to see preview/sample pics of all the sites in this pack.
No pathfinder advantage discount on these? No biggie, it's only a few cents, but just curious why.
Not the first time I've asked. Still no answer. I honestly dont understand it.
Why not show both sides? Seriously?
I think it could work like this...
Counterspell with Dispel Magic or Exact Same Spell = works normally
Counterspell with any spell from same school = opposed spellcraft roll between casters, with counterspeller starting with a -2 penalty. The counterspeller gets an additional +1/-1 modifier on the spellcraft roll based on whether he expended a spell higher or lower than the spell to be countered.
example: Caster A casts a 4th level evocation spell. Caster B counterspells with a 5th level evocation spell. Spellcraft opposed roll with caster B having a -1 penalty (-2 to start, +1 for one level higher spell).
As for actions, you could allow the counterspeller to try to counterspell "out of turn" at the cost of his next standard action.
I got this a couple years ago and it is great. I glued mine to the black cardboard that came in the packaging to give it some strength. I also have mine usually attached to a clipboard.
What I would love to have is a larger version of this combat pad, that could be put up for all players to see.
Has this been pushed back to December???
Does the "Pathfinder Advantage" 15% discount apply to the PFRPG Subscription costs? My first book for the RPG sub is slated to be the Bestiary. Will I get 15% off that? Just curious.
Im a subscriber, but my issue #26 has said "pending" since Monday, it is now Thursday, and I cannot download the PDF. Do I need to do something?
