Traits for Drexel:

Killer: You made your first kill at an early age, you found murder to your liking....
You deal additional damage when you score a critical equal to you crit multiplier, (x2=+2, x3=+3, x4=+4)

Ambusher Your ability to ambush your victims with incredible ferocity is unmatched.
Acts as the rogue ability surprise attacks, when attack from hiding

Drexel scoffs, all who are entering this establishment appear to be weak, stupid, or both. He does not think that his contact has arrived yet and begins to dream up imaginative ways to kill some of the goblins sitting around a table across the way. He has nothing to fear from these two Hobgoblins that are here. He waves a waitress over and procedes to order some cooked rat and grog, then goes back to silently watching.

The bar "maid" approaches, and screeches, "YoU waNt Eats, YoU nEd Seet, coMe, CoMe, sit wif deez trEE." As she leads you to the table with the other Hobgoblins

I'll get your background traits later tonight Dave

I /think/ I'm done at this point.

OK Rethal, I'll come up with Background traits when I get home from work.

Rethal wrote:
The door opens again to admit a pale-skinned hobgoblin, who nods a greeting to all present. In this dive, hobgoblins stand out, but a single look at the disheveled, wolf-accompanied one is enough to convince Rethal that an open table might be the better option. First, though, he passes the bar. "What's on the menu today, goodman?"

The toothless older looking goblin looks around for a "goodman"...

He gives a cockeyed expression to the new hobgoblin that just entered the establisment, but dares not say anything..."Ah didn't know yous wuz talk'n t'me...me t'ought der was a humie in 'ere"

"Oi, ah gotz Rat Kay-bob, and Rat puddin', and dire rat steak...wut would the 'obgob be in hankerin' fer?"

As you look around the place is pretty full...5 to 7 goblins at each table besides the one with the goblin and hobgoblin

Ur-Kaim wrote:

Handing the goblin whench a silver "Only cooked meat for now, I'll try your fresh meat later" he says with a lustful grin.

*Ur-Kaim pushes half of the meat on the floor for the wolf before starting to eat the rest.*

Your wolf kinda noses at the meat before begining to eat it...you wonder how fresh the meat is, or if it's diseased...it is heavily spiced and blackened so that might be covering up a bit of rotten taste. The meat is so greasy it can only be rat, or lamb, not that you remember seeing lamb in Rhukaan Draal in the last decade.

The barmaid returns with the "house ale", it's more of a swish...and might kill a halfling, but your goblinoid stomachs are used to this filthy toxic brew

"DAt'll be TwOO Aygs, oh wait, Maz'kek sed himz WanT coins...silvER oNEs..."Her voice grates like fingernails on a chalkboard..."tWo silver Eech bIg Boi...I wurK fer Aygz doh..." As she runs a broken dirty fingenail down your jawline...

Ur-Kaim, you don't think she's talking about bar work...but you know you don't have the time for such actions as your contact could be here anytime, and you're not sure what you might catch off of that one...

Standard PFRPG, so you're right 1000gp

yes, standard level 2 GP

So far, so good. I've not done inventory yet (900 gold piece value, standard for level 2?), and need to adjust his background story to fit him into Dhakaan. Xaaon, would you like us to include background in the profile, or somehow get it to you in private (email, presumably)?

In profile, you can spoiler it if you want. Why did you choose to be a psiArtificer anyway? Can you only craft Psi items, or regular also?

The conversion for your craft pool is 5gp/1xp...so you will start with your level 1 craftpool created.

A simple fix. I'll just be part of the Rhukaan Taash clan. Hadn't settled on a back story yet anyways. I'll readjust some of my skills to reflect this.

Just re-read the entry, if you want to leave it, it's fine. My apologies.

I'm kind of throwing this together spur of the moment...LoL

Drexel approaches the bloody blade, he pulls his letter of summons out and checks it to make sure that he is at the right place. He knotices that his wolf, Kal' Ashk, seems edgy and orders her to stay outside the establishment. He slips in quietly (1d20+12=26 for stealth, if you want me to roll it, other wise kindly disregard) and moves to take a seat in a shadowy corner, looking to see who else is in the bar, and who else is arriving.

Light floods into the place, most of the goblins look away as you slip through the door.

Luckily there are no Hobgoblins or Bugbears in the bar at the moment to challenge Ur-Kaim, and the goblins seem to be too interested in their own little games to truly take notice of the boisterous druid.

You notice the barwench goblin serving a rather odd looking goblin at the least occupied table...

Brignat, I'm not sure if your loyalty to the Dhakanni clan of Hobgoblins will conflict with the campaign idea I had...Pretty much you're going to be working for the Glory of Dhakann through the Lhesh Haruuc, if you can come up with a background that says why you've been chosen for this mission, perhaps, you're there to keep tabs, why has the emissary of the Lhesh Haruuc chosen you specifically?

OK Hruskin here are your background traits:

Child of the Forge:
You've spent so many hours at the forge, you're able to withstand extremely high temperatures with greater ease. You gain Fire Resistance:2

Touch of Onatar
There's something special about you, Onatar has blessed you with crafting genius. You gain a +1 Trait bonus to Craft (Weaponsmith, Armorsmith and Blacksmith)

OK andi, you're back in, that's good timing you go, you posted pretty soon after I posted...heh

So we're good now.

Anyone else will be on standby, which hopefully we won't need since I hope everyone sticks around with my game.

Brignat wrote:
Ok, here is my character. I used 6 as the d10 hp for 2nd level. I left a misc. section on the equipment; if you want i will flesh it out. I will have the rest of my background by tomorrow.

OK, looks good so far, but you have 4 more skill points, I got rid of 2+int for all characters, it's 4+int min. The loss of the x4 modifier is brutal at the low levels...makes characters too cardboard.

Recruiting one more player.

I have 5, I'm shifting a non-poster to stand-by status so we can get the game started by Monday at the latest. I can take one more, the group could use an artificer or arcane caster.

Oh yeah Hruskin, you're definitely an odd-ball amongst Dhakhanni society...perfect for the really dirty half-dozen minus one...

I don't really see Hobgoblins having "jousts" maybe make up a goblinoid name for some tournament like Maka'akesh The test at arms! An annual tournament to find the best of the best amongst goblinkin...not always won by a bugbear, but quite often...

The Lhesh Haruuc actually won one of these a decade ago...

I think that would make it more savage, so it doesn't seem like we're playing a standard western style fantasy game...

(note: Nothing of signifigance will happen in the dive until all 5 core characters are finished and have arrived, this will just be background fluff, and to let your characters get acquainted.)

A dirty goblin barmaid dressed in revealing rags approaches Hruskin and in a scratchy, screeching voice asks, "YoU wANt DRinK"?
