Hey everyone, This week I am starting my latest home campaign. This is by far the biggest campaign I have ever run; with a group of eight players in total. I will introduce you to the cast of characters next week once we get started, but I wanted to show off the shiny campaign resource that I have put together for my players to enable them to get familiar with the Scarred Lands. Campaign Wiki

Until next week, good luck and good gaming.

It is a long way from Courascant to Bespin, but that is exactly where you are headed. The Jedi Council and the Republic Senate have sent you out to seek information on a rash of pirate raids in the Outer Rim and Cloud City is the biggest Republic asset out there.

Not that it is a bad assignment. They have chartered a luxury cruiser to transport you out there without drawing attention and you have the ship almost all to yourself. Other then the crew and the other members of your team that is. The captain informs you that your journey will last about a week, which should be plenty of time to get aquainted.

The wind blew hot off of the desert as the city Yane woke for the day. The sound of merchants hawking their wares mingled with the siunds of animals and the crowds of people going about their buisness. As you finally ride into the caravan square near the center of town you are drawn to the mass of people, all bearing strange tatoos on their body.

Fragrent smoke wafted through the festhall of Svienn Blood Eagle. The building was awash with the smell of smoke, roasting meat, meed, and sweat. At the very end of the hall, seated on a raised platform, the king watched the goings on. At his right, sat his wife, their two sns, and then their four daughters. At his left sits you. Raising his glass andstanding, he comandsenough respct that the whole hall falls silent.

"My subjects, friends, and guests," he booms, "tonight is a night of celebration. As you king, I command that you spend this night feasting, drinking, frolicing, and enjoying youself." Then he returns to his seat as the crowd roars it's approval. Then he turns to you.

"I recommend that you enjoy yourselves as well brave one," he says. "Tomorrow I must sadly lay a very difficult task at your feet."

The Galaxy is in turmoil. Luke Skywalker, once the Rebellion's greatest hero, has overthrown the Emperor and asscended to his throne. The Rebellion is in turmoil.

Across the galaxy, Emperor Skywalker's Imperial Knights and Imperial Shadows hunt down the remaining scraps of the Rebel Alliance. Meanwhile more and more planets fall into line, thanks to the honeied words of his force trained ambassadors. The flame of freedom that once had burned in the galaxy has been reduced to a dull ember.

Meanwhile, at the palace of Dulraga the Hutt, a strange meeting is taking place. A small band has been invited to what may turn out to be the most important meeting of their lives. As the fate of the galazy hangs in the balance, a strange bargin is about to be struck...

Riddleport is abuzz. Normally people would be talking about the Blot, or the weather, or the latest gossip. Today however, they are all talking about the "Cheat the Devil and Take his Gold" tournament at the Gold Goblin. It is the richest gambling competition to be held in Riddleport in a long time. Some even whisper that Saul Vancaskerkin has made a deal with a true devil to finance the whole affair. Regardless, it is agreed that anything worth knowing or doing can be found at the Gold Goblin today.

Ba'az

Spoiler:
The sky begins to darken as you approach the town of Harkenwold. Normally such a small place would not warrant the attention of one such as yourself. However, a recent series of disapperances in the area and rumors of cult activity has attracted the attention of your superiors and they have sent you to investigate. As you approach the town, you begin wondering about accomadations. However, before you can even begin to look for a place to stay, you are jarred into readiness by a muffled scream coming from near the town church.

Jake and Elmo

Spoiler:
The night is young and so are you. The two "heroes of Harkenwold" make their way toward the Silver Gryfon Tavern to enjoy another night of free drinks and adulation. Sure all you really did was drive off a wolf that had been menacing a shepheress, and really you had just stumbled on the scene by accident, but none of that mattered to the villagers. Even the fact that Elmo is a kobold didn't matter once the brave priest of Corellon vouched for him. You have almost reached the tavern when you hear a women's scream coming from the direction of the local church.

Yrenn

Spoiler:
On the way to Fallscrest, you have had to stop for the night in the town of Harkenwold. It is not much of a town, but at least it offers a comfortable bed and hot meals. No camping tonight, you are going to enjoy this. You also met an old sage who offered to let you have a look at some ancient texts that are in his library. He claims that they tell the ancient history of this region, but he is unable to read the language they are written in. You are on the way to his home when you here a person scream from nearby the village church.

Logan

Spoiler:
You have just ridden into Harkenwold, looking for a chance to replenish your supplies and perhaps visit with some of the local girls. As one of Baron Stockmer's road wardens, you are constantly on the move, patrolling the King's Road between here and Fallscrest. It is your duty to keep the roads clear of the dark creatures and bandits that dwell in the Harken Wood, and you have become somewhat of a local hero in the process. As you push open the door of the small house that is avalible for you to use while you are in town, you suddenly here the sound of a woman screaming coming from the direction of the church.
