At 5'7", Bolkin isn't a large man, but his physique and wit more than compensate. Several scars on his arms and back serve as reminders of the years of training (and punishment) he has undergone. His disheveled dark hair, tied in the back, as well as the constant wild look in his eyes, tend to give the (correct) impression of a free-roaming spirit who is more interested in the thrill of adventure than fame, fortune, or some greater cause.
