Well, we are well into planning and preparing for the next SCARAB Gaming Convention and have already attended a number of conventions in the south east:

ConNooga
StellarCon

and we are scheduled to attend several more in the next couple of months:

GnomeCon
X-Con World
ConCarolinas

Plus we have several games days planned around the Carolinas and Eastern GA. Our event at Firefly this past weekend in Lexington, SC had great attendance and we had people from as far away as Virginia, make the drive just to hang with the SCARAB Swarm. We had attendees from Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Savannah and Augusta as well as Charlotte. We were happy to see so many old faces and meet some new friends.

Our next big retailer day will be FREE RPG Day in June.

Come on out and play some games with us! If you are interested in having SCARAB attend your retailer event or convention please just drop me a line.

Looking for GMs to run some PFS at StellarCon March 2-4, 2012. I have 5 tables per slot available. Here are the list of scenarios available to sign up for to GM. If you have other folks interested in running some PFS at StellarCon please let me know. I only have 8 free badge GM slots available. I think one will go this weekend leaving 7 available and I will buy some pizzas for dinner on Saturday night. Let me know asap.

You will get the scenarios for free and I will have everything but the maps printed and ready to go and I will have a laser printer with me for printing anything I may have forgotten as well as character generation packets. I hope to have more free stuff to give away but am not sure we are going to have very many tables so sponsor support is weak to say the very least. Last year I did have 6 full tables and during two sessions turned away players.due to full tables.

These are the scenarios by time slot that are available to be run and are on a first come first serve basis.

Sign up for the scenario you want. I also attached the schedule for your ease of use. I need an answer no later than Friday February 10th at 5pm. If you know of other GMs that would be interested please forward this to them and have them get in touch with me ASAP.

We are loading games into Warhorn and opening registration for the convention and so far we have 107 tables of Pathfinder and PFS. To register and learn more about SCARAB Gaming Convention go to s-c-a-r-a-b.com to sign up for a game go to Warhorn.

Come on out and have some fun!

We are going to have tons of board games, 40k, and rpgs and Pathfinder!

We have GM's willing to run all four parts of Eyes of the Ten for those ready to retire a character. If you are interested in playing the 12th level retirement campaign scenarios then please let me know ASAP. If we do not get enough response to fill the tables for this special set of scenarios then we will replace it with something else that is lower level.

Osirion aka DCII ***** (Venture-Captain, South Carolina—Lexington)

If players choose a slow progression for a level (each PFS scenario = 1/2 XP) and then go through a module (3 XP) does that count as only 1.5 XP? Just want some confirmation.

Osirion aka DCII ***** (Venture-Captain, South Carolina—Lexington)

Please add this as an option under the Scenarios section of the events page.

When can we expect the list of cards to be posted?

Osirion (Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber)

We had a round 2 wannabes writing exercise. Is anyone interested in a round 3 writing exercise?

Osirion (Pathfinder Battles Case Subscriber)

For each new round, at the appropriate time, will you be publically posting the guidelines for the submissions of each round or will that information be provided only to those who make the cut into each new level?

It seems people are very interested in knowing the criteria for:

  • Design a country
  • Design a villain (complete with stat block)
  • Design three thematically linked monsters
  • Design an encounter
  • Submit a full adventure proposal

I think most people will understand if it is kept to the contestants only, but then it seems there may be others who might enter into a suicide pact if they don't get to see the criteria.
