Uhhh, I guess I could change it up and make a ranged character or a mage or something. I thought I remember the DM saying something about needing more fighters. I would like to be helpful to the group though.

Making a human fighter, will be posting soon. He is a lowborn claiming highborn decendency, he was a general of a rebellion but was defeated and is now exiled and on the run. He is looking to establish a kind of dynastic legacy.

I have played a Pathfinder campaign before, as well as a 4.0 campaign. I wasn't a big fan of 4.0 and the Pathfinder game was like 2 years ago. I could probably do some research and learn more of the basics. I have a general idea of how it's played, but I'm so used to other systems that I don't fully understand how it works. Also thanks Azure_Zero, I will give those a read.

Hey, I am looking to join a campaign but I'm not sure where to start. I have looked at alot of the recruitment messages but they often contain rulings that I don't know since they are for DnD. I want to join a more noob friendly campaign that will help me when it comes to DnD rules and play by post stuff and such, but I don't want something thats so inexperienced that it deals with less focus on the rollplaying. If anybody has advice I would appreciate it.

If you were any real friend at all, there would be no hesitation from the moment he asked you to play his campain. A friendship is more important than any stupid game. And if other people have a problem with it, then thats thier problem. If they don't care enough to give you time to help your buddy out with one simple request like that, then you shouldnt even worry about their opinion.

Hey this is Mrdarkandlights friend, and I was just wondering if i could join in on this, i was away for vacation this past weekend. My character concept is a half elf lore oracle infected with demon blood that gives him extra knowlege of like dark things but is also a curse because its slowly killing him.
