The good:

Some of the sculpts are really great. I particularly love the Male and Female Ice Trolls.
The bad:

Too many animals for my taste. I voiced my frustration when the Wolliped was revealed, as it's not even a creature you fight in the AP. My frustration was compounded when I got 4 of them... 4 Falcons, 4 Foxes, 4 Ravens, 4 Owls, 4 Goats, 4 Giant Weasels... I don't know what I'm going to do with all of these. I sure would have liked more interesting creatures that are actually in the AP.

Final Thoughts:

So many cool minis we missed out on. Hydra, Dracolisk, a number of different fey, Baba Yaga's Hut, etc... I feel that despite the actual quality in the minis I received, I am left disappointed because of the choices of what minis made it into the set. It doesn't help that I feel robbed of at least 10 more sculpts.
Finally got my case.

You're limited by the number of spells you can cast, whereas a rogue can keep sneak attacking left and right.

I asked because it was stated that "other classes can do what they do better" and I find that statement erroneous. Maybe different classes can do specific things better, but one class cannot outclass a rogue in every category.
Atarlost wrote:Curmudgeonly wrote: blackbloodtroll wrote:It's not hate. It is a fact, and some Rogue fans may deny it.
A Rogue can be viable, but will never quite be above other classes.
Is there one class that can do everything the rogue can do, but is better at everything? Not quite, but the archaeologist bard trades out sneak attack for 6 level spell casting and has access to an unconditional damage boost that multiplies on crits....Curmudgeonly2012-10-09T22:53:12Z
