Certain monsters like the Sandpoint Devil need to be renamed, since Sandpoint is product identity, even if the creature isn't. Also there are two creatures that were released in adventure paths that are not OGL. The Deep Crow and the creature that the displacer beast were based on (forgot it's name). These two are not creatures that paizo has the rights to, beyond the issues that they appeared in, so they cannot make them open content. gbonehead wrote:

She would have been studying the PCs fighting styles from the reports of the dagger and be ready (Prepped the best spells/scrolls she can for fighting the party, planned her environment and tactics to suit the environment, ect). Personally, I've always had a soft spot for adventures that showcase the pleasure activities of the area - be it gambling, knivesies, blood pig.... While reading the Inner sea world guide information on the Donkey rat I had a adventure idea I though was really interesting. What if someone was opening a high end restaurant/tavern in a city, but didn't really like the aristocrats and politics of nobility. They get help from the PCs to go hunt creatures like the donkey rat, that are tasty, but frowned upon. As the PCs level, they can be contacted to hunt creatures for the restaurant's 'specials'. Who else is going to harvest enough cockatrices to serve a city's nobility for a week? You know the queen just asked if we could serve red dragon steaks at her coronation, and the PCs are the only ones who can hunt down a red dragon. Normally hunting these things a lot would put you behind the wealth table... but they're selling the meat back to the resturant D.M.T. wrote: D&D miniatures got fewer and fewer of my dollars because I didn't need or want a 27th version of a Dwarf with Axe, a 3rd version of a Harpy, or a Giant riding an Elephant. I only have the ugly one (and I have over 2000 minis, 950+ unique sculpts) so just because you or I might not want something, doesn't mean the market doesn't - I could do without any humans.... but I still want Karzoug and Ameiko... not because they're human, but because of their unique personalities. There are even encounters that diplomacy is the best defense. in other words as far as the game is concerned there's no "best" in all situations. Lady Ophelia, I agree with a lot of your post, but I also feel that in any group of 7, there is one person who ends up quieter than they would be in a smaller group. This limits their fun and the roleplaying that the whole group experiences... As a quiet-minded person, I like playing outgoing characaters, as its not Me and that disconnect is a good amount of extra fun. in a 7 person table, there is almost always someone louder/more controlling of a personality than me in real life, which makes me act as though I am intimidated (usually I'm not, but if I'm spoken over with the same idea, I suddenly have nothing to add to the conversation..) I believe its a quality choice on Wizkids side: They did this with heroclix too - The plastic they use is a little more ridged than the DDM plastic, so if they have a small area where the actual body mold connects to the base, they put the pads under the feet to strengthen the mini, this prevents it from snapping off at the base upon regular use.
