Anyway, we did make a commitment to Laurel to gather these ingredients and we are under a time limit, but we should also try and avenge Quirk's friends as well. Their deaths were sensless and crule and should not go unpunished. The problem is that doing so will take time away from our ingredients quest and if we don't make it back in time then there will be a lot more people dead. Oh dear, I just can't decide. Quince, what do you think we should do? If we had a leader at all I would choose you, not that I'm forcing you to make the decision on your own, it should be something that we all do, but just that I think you should act like a mediator and be that medium voice. You know, the one that casts the tying vote, or the judge that rules on the verdict of the jury, or the trusted friend that people come to for advice, or the crazy old lady that has 50 cats that everone knows is crazy and they don't listen to her and... no wait that one doesn't work does it, because noone listens to the crazy cat lady. Forget that last one, but you get my meaning, right? Anyway I guess I'm just saying that I know I look up to you for guidance and I'm not sure about the others but I vote for you to be the leader if you weren't already, because I don't really know what you guys had decided before I met you at Jurin's house."Sorry guys, big weekend. Coralee goes over and rummages around in her backpack, finally producing a length of rope. "I have this. It's 50' long but it's made of silk, so I don't know how well it will attach if noone else has silk. I know not everyone has silk rope. Most of the caravan guards laughed at me because I had silk rope. 'A good length of hemp rope's what you need little lady, none o that fancy silk stuff', that's what they used to say. I like it though. It's not as rough as hemp rope, which is good for my hands. Plus Monarch likes it better if I ever need to use it with him. Speaking of Monarch, how are we going to get him across? I can only think of putting him on a raft, but I don't know how stable that's going to be and we don't have a raft, well unless one of you has a magical collapsible one at least, so that means we would have to make one which will take us most of tomorrow. Would your magic be able to get him across? She starts to unpack her tent from Monarch's saddle, then turns expectantly towards the others to make sure they are following her lead and they're not just gonna pack up and move on. I don't know if Quirk's quite ready for the responsibility involved in caring for a rock just yet. They can be tricky. You have to do everything for them, they won't do anything for themselves. Maybe we should just start him with something simple like an animal that can look after itself first and move up to something as hard as a rock once he gets the hang of it." But no use wasting time going around if we don't need to." Coralee frowns with her eyebrows at Quince. "Hey Mister, THE HORSE has a name. His name is Monarch and he's not even a horse he's a Pony." She pat's Monarch's mane reassuringly. "There, there boy, he didn't mean to call you a horse. That's just like me calling you the halfling or Stoney the Dwarf. He'll say sorry for calling you a horse. Well I suppose not quite the same really, but I'd like you to apologise to Monarch for calling him a horse please. He's a bit sensitive about it. Hey, I've just realized there are three of us with animals as friends, you, me and Fjyn. Maybe Drint, Stoney and Quirk should get some animal friends too. I think Stoney should get a tortoise and Drint should get a lizard, and Quirk should get a bird! Then we could be the animal group. That sounds great. Monarch's not much of a friend compared to Grendel or your lovely fox, I don't think you ever told me his name but gee he's a beauty, but he still deserves a little bit of respect, he's got feelings too you know. I'm happy to let him cross the river if it's not dangerous, but if it's going to be too dangerous for him then I'm gonna go around with him. Maybe three of us could go around and three could go on over if that's the case. Maybe we could split and get two of the ingredients at once. If I'm reading this map right then you guys can go straight to the Witch's place and we could go to the Elder Tree. Then we could both meet up outide the forest and skirt the edges until we get to the Dwarven Ruins. It might be dangerous to split up though, so if that sounds like a bad idea then just let me know, because may parents always said my ideas needed a little bit of work to get off the ground. "Well you I was just making sure that you were not passed out and not dead from the Blackscour Taint. That's the name of the disease that's getting around town at the moment. Some people have already died and one man has even been murdered during an attack on laurel, the local Healer, she owns a shop called the Roots and Remedies you see. I went there last night after I left a message for you about the disease with one of the guards at the caravans, because I couldn't find you. I did look. Anyway, she had been attacked ,but luckily I was there to help her and when she recovered she made me go and find a halfling name Quince darkivy, he seems like a nice fellow and he's pretty cute for a halfling, but anyway she sent me to a really big house to find Jurin Kreed, because he'd know where Quince was. As it turns out Quince was staying there and he had some friends, one of whom is a kobold can you believe it, but he seems OK, if a little bit grumpy. So then we all headed back to see Laurel, who told us about the Blackscour taint, that's the disease I was telling you about, and how it has been infecting the townsfolk, but you can't catch it from someone, you have to eat or drink something already infected with it. She's not sure where the infection is coming from, but she said she can brew up an antidote from some plants that can be found in the Darkmoon Vale, that's that big forest to the north, so she asked if Quince and I would help her and I said that I would help her because she seems really nice and I want to help the townsfolk get better and it might be thatsome of the caravan folk have gotten the disease too, so I would be helping them as well, which is good for you. So I am going to go with them into the forest and I figured if any of you were infected that you would be staying here, so then you wouldn't leave me behind, but if noone is infected and you wanted to leave then that's OK too, but I am still gonna stay and help them find the cure, so I won't be able to continue with you if that's the case, sorry. I hope you don't mind, but I'd really like to do this, I think Desna wants me to help and I'd hate to dissapoint her you know, she looks out for me so well. So there you have it, you should go and check everyone out, maybe take them to see Laurel and if she gives you the all clear then maybe you should leave a bit early. It's unfortunate that I wouldn't be able to go with you, but maybe you will be back this way on your return journey from Absalom and I can hitch a ride bcak with you. That is if I don't find my way to Absalom on my own at some stage, maybe even with Quince and the Gang if tha's where they are going, I don't think they're from here, so the have to be travelling to somewhere right?"

Once done there, she heads back over to the Sitting Duck to collect Monarch from the Stable Boy, tipping him a Silver for his good work. When she has checked Monarch and all of her gear, she then heads back to Laurel's to meet up with the party before they begin their "Epic Journey to rid the town of Falcon's Hollow of the dreaded Blackscour Taint", as she likes to call it (repeatedly, whenever she gets a bit excited about the trip which unfortunately for the others is quite often). It has gotten very early in the morning and she figures that she may as well wait out the remainder of the night in the Inn's common room.

Coralee eyes the swill with a raised eybrow and then return's the man's jibe. "And I'm sure a man like you can give me exact directions there too... one has to get one's pleasures somehow right!" She pays the man for the drinks and balances them through the crowd looking for a spare seat. On the way, she flags down a barmaid and asks her if she knows of anywhere in town with a vacancy. Coralee approaches the Caravan Master and tells him that she is going to take a room at the Inn. She then heads to the stable to put Monarch in for the night and enters the Inn, walking straight up to the bar and trying to catch the attention of the barkeeper.
"One glass of Gnomish Thistlewine please barkeep." She doesn't really expect a backwater place like this to have such a niche drink, but a girl can dream can't she.
"I'm also going to need a room too, preferably one with a hot bath." She gives herself a look over and then continues, "I've been on the road for a while now and need some freshening up." She gives the barkeep a big cheesy grin and waits for his reply. Girther StoneStriker wrote:
Read away... nothing to hide here =) (although I'm just skimming the boards at work now... I'll get around to finishing the Sheet later on tonight) Radavel wrote: I recall seeing a map and it places Falcon's Hollow East of Varisia pass the Bloodsworn Vale. Cheers thanks Rad. OK Coralee is done except for her History and Skills. As much as I wanna complete her I am dead tired and my pain meds are starting to kick in, so I am going to bed. I will finish her off in the next day or so (hopefully tomorrow). If you have any problems with anything so far Rad just let me know and I'll fix it up.
EDIT: Just so I know, as I can't find it anywhere... Where exactly is Falcon's Hollow in relation to the rest of Varisia? Just so I can include where I have travelled from and how/why I am there.
