I love Paizo products. My one interaction with their customer service has been terrible. Maybe I keep failing my skill checks. I don't know.

- Feb 17th I send an email to Paizo Customer Service. I got the automated response back along with my ticket ID. Great.
- TEN days later, after no response, I replied to the automated email as instructed asking for an update or ANY sort of acknowledgement. Nothing.
- March 5th, I emailed again asking for an update. Still nothing.
- Yesterday, I called. The automated message said it was outside normal business hours so I left a message. No response.
- Today, I called and got through to the Customer Service voicemail box. It said it was full and I couldn't leave a message.

So..... how do you contact a human at Paizo Customer Service?

Sorry to hear you have had a bad experience. Email is the correct way to access Paizo Customer Service. (We are removing our phone number listings from the site.) We are not experiencing long wait times in processing emails, so a new message is recommended.

Thanks Aaron. I emailed again just now. My new ticket ID number is 187196.

I see a Core Set on Amazon with slightly different box art (green dragon but with monk and barbarian). Is that a different edition/version?

Greetings,
We are just wrapping up Burnt Offerings. The party encountered Malfeshnekor while already at low HP and resources and took a beating. Instead of a TPK, I had Malfeshnekor escape via dimension door and look for an easier meal. I want him to remain a looming threat; an evil menace that they have loosed on the countryside (and Sandpoint).
Question: What would Malfeshnekor's goals be now that he is loose? I know his immediate goal is eating. There are plenty of goblins left at Thistletop to satiate him for now. What about after that? How can I make him a threat that the PCs need to address?

A Basic Save, to me, means: you succeed, nothing happens to you; you fail then something bad happens. Basic doesn't imply varying degrees of effect based on how I rolled. I would give it a different identifier.

I'll buy the errata card pack.

@1970Zombie - Thanks so much for your answer.

@h4ppy - Sorry to be so draining on you.

Sorry if this has been covered before.
The General Store allows you to explore again if you don't encounter certain card types. Does this apply to any number of explorations that you do in that turn.
For example, if I use my free exploration to explore, encounter a monster, defeat it, explore again as per the location card rule, and then encounter a weapon and acquire it. I then play BOTG to explore again and encounter another bane and defeat it. Could i then explore yet again for free using the location card rule?

Next question:
The Spectre monster says that is the check to defeat it does not include the magic trait then it is undefeated. Does that also apply to the wisdom check to defeat it? I don't see how to add the magic trait to a non-combat check.

The problem is that the "At this location" effect of a location isn't a power. The rulebook just tells us on page 14...

"At This Location: These are special rules that are in effect while the location is open."

What? Wait. Are we saying that "At this location" rules effect every character and not just the ones at that location?

OK. That does help a bit on what cards I have. But, i'd still have 0 feats when building a new character. I'm not sure how often a feat is awarded but I would feel a bit under-powered if the rest of my group all has 6 feats and I have zero. Am I reading this correctly?

The rulebook states the when a character dies they loose all the feats they had. As I understand it, when you rebuild a new character you get no feats. This would seem a bit harsh during later scenarios.
If my character dies on the 1st scenario of the 6th adventure, do i really have to build a new character with 0 feats and carry on? I seems I would be at an extreme disadvantage. Thoughts?
