(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

"Any chance it's still in the rafters?"

Spot check 1d20 3=15

Aubrey, is that lighted bolt stick in said rafters illuminating anything?

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Thanks Aubrey, Damn timezones, and people sleeping when I'm awake!

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Through a window, Colvare catches a glace of the last of the setting suns rays, and watches longingly.

"Is there anything on this guy to indicate why he might have been killed?"

Spot and Search (1d20+3, 1d20+1=[13, 3], [13, 1]) Whichever you think is more apropriate Aubry.

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Spot: 1d20 3=13 I am stil on the Gallery, do I notice anything interesting about any of the exits I can see?

Colvare takes a good look at the other exits, looking for signs that appear unusual.

"So, do we try to chase whoever just locked us in? Assuming we can get out?"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

"I think it's safe to assume this is some sort of a set up, yes. None of us appears to be here by chance, and now we are, apparently the only people left alive int he place?"

"The question is, Who's test is it, and what does it involve?"

Aubrey, we have investigated two rooms, the one we started in, and the one with the gallery. Are there any others?

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

"Whoa, you're quick Urthona, I hope as quick with that sword. I'm Colvare."

"Hey, Shifter, some help up here might be good"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Go with the fireing the bolt idea

Colvare fires the bolt into the cieling of the gallery, right above the body, throwing light right over it.

He then follows Andrei carefully up the stairs, keeping back, and sholders the crossbow, so he is ready to run.

listen 1d20 3=20

I still have hold of the first glowing bolt too.....Any humans might want to follow us :)

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

"Good Point."

With a small gesture, and some yellow powder Colvare causes another bolt to glow

Cast Light on another bolt and either shoot it (1d20+2=22) into a suitable place right above the "body" or hand it to Andrei, if there isn't a good place. These lights have radius 20' and last 10 mins.....

"Anyone fancy a looksy upstairs?"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

"I can't see very well, is that the guy that gave the shout?"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Colvare moves over to the lnater, glowing bolt in hand, and looks around again, looking for a way up to the gallery, mostly, but checking for anyone lese at the same time.

Sopt]:1d20+3=5

Hmmmm, maybe I would see better in the dark? Aubry, let me know when the light goes out...

Is it me or is your maths out?

I thought the object was pretty much right in front of our leaders, but other people don't seem to be reading it that way.

Looks like noone wants to touch the Kryptonite!

If Andrei doesn't I will have a closer inspection.

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Colvare has a good long look at the glowiung object and notices that it glows in a rather nice way.... spot check:1d20+3=5

Cast "light" on a cross bow bolt, and hold it up to see a little better, trying to avoid messing up anyones darkvision.

This last 10 mins.

"That help Ben?"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Aubry, what do I need to do to get a better look at said "Glowing Object" without advancing past our meat shields?

p.s. Back in an hour!

(and would you prefer posts like this here, or in the main section?)

"We have people walkin' in armor, so we ain't gonna be no surprise. But can you put the light up there's a ways, rather than right next to us?"

"True, well I have some torches I could toss, or I can make another object glow and throw it.....Kinda like that thing down there....But nothing that will work at range"

Quietly: "It's getting quite dark isn't it? I could light our way a little, but I don't want to attract any more attention than we already are just yet!"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

With a grin to Ben, "Sounds like a plan, I and our knightly friend up ahead have reason to belive something sinister may be going on actually, I hope we are wrong though"

Yeah, right!

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

"Colvare. Any idea who might have just taken a fall? Sounded like a man, but who knows?"

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

1d20 3=16

Made the listen.

I will follow Andrei, keeping 10' behind him.

You got it Andrei.

Ready an action to cast magic missile on the first obvious enemy I see.

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Spoiler for Aubrey & Andrei:

Spoiler:

You haven't seen her yet? I was begining to think I had missed her until I saw you, being so late myself.

It is troubling that she thinks she needs the help of both of us, though what she thinks I can offer I don't know. I have a few tricks you both may not be expecting though.

that last with a sly grin.

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Spoiler for Andrei, Aubrey:

Spoiler:

Colvare aproaches Andrei, and stands gazing at the same display.

In a low voice, so no-one else hears:

It's been a long time Andrei, and you are a knight now?

You received a note from Alidaber too?

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Can I have physical descriptions for your characters (either here or, better, in their profiles) - I am writing the intro.

Already in my profile, let me know if you need more....

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

For Andrei:

Spoiler:
You would know that Colvare is very loyal, and dependable. But easily distracted by fire, of any discription, often needing to be pulled away from it physically.

Yeah, Rayne definitely has Intimidate well in hand. My personal recommendation? Freedom and Guardian. Be someone who can move around the battlefield quickly and easily to defend characters who get low on HP, suffer from status ailments, etc. to buy time for the cleric to solve their problem. In situations where no one is in critical condition, you can focus your Guardian abilities on reducing an enemy's effectiveness and so on.

Agreed, as the one with 5HP, no armour, and no death wish, I think this is a good idea.

Will you be my friend?

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Aubrey the Malformed wrote:

1) Will do - just haven't done it yet.

Cool.

2) Afraid I don't actually understand the question - what is RPGXplorer and what sort of output could I expect?

That answers that question! :)

It's a character generation/tracking app. Would output anything from XML to PDFs, but may as well just keep the profile on here updated if you don't use the app.

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Aubrey the Malformed wrote:

Most certainly you can. There are some others in some other supplements - Hordes of the Abyss spring to mind. Not sure what our resident goody-goodies will make of it all, though...

Colvare Stands Studeusly Neutral and watches the fireworks...

Just thought that should be here so I can copy/paste it later.... }:)

Abry, two Q's

1) Could you quickly clarify the Action points for me?

and

2)Would it be helpful for you to have the output from RPGXplorer for Colvare every now and then?

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Aubrey the Malformed wrote:
Looks good to me. By the way, you need to pick an avatar.

Ahhh, ha....found it...now just 15 pages of avatars to hunt through...

How's that?

(Male Human Sorcerer 3)

Updated Character Profile for aproval.

Comments welcome from *everyone*. Except wrt spelling :)
