Jade breaks out of her reverie when Syper speaks. She turns to him, her face still furrowed in thought.
"Hmm? Oh, that would only matter if they were just thieves looking to turn a profit. The captain said our employers are not the only House who know about the disappearance of the virloga. He said Nendasta would be mounting an expedition too. That naphtha is worth peanuts compared to what's up there, if the rumors are even half true. I bet they wanted to starve the Dragonsbite and kill us off in the same explosion. This whole expedition is hopeless without us, right?" she chuckles, in spite of herself.

Jade's eyes flash a bit greener than normal spotting the dropped gem, but sighs. The others are much closer to it. "Our new friend left us a present. It'd be rude not to pick it up--" then thinking it over a second "--though maybe check it first to make sure it's not cursed or anything?"
Jade glances at Jaym'row and does a double take, wincing as she can examine more closely Jaym'row's wounds now. She draws healing water from Yomul through her aura and salves Jaym'row's injuries.
Ocean's Balm ◆
Jaym'row Healing: 1d8 ⇒ 5
In the event we are attacked again, Ocean's Balm also provides resistance 2 to fire for 1 minute.
"If anyone else has wounds, I can provide a bit of relief."
If anyone else wants to walk over and get 1d8 healing, including Mirian--can't remember if she got hurt--I've spoilered a roll for each of you.
Jade will keep her aura active until we are safely back to the ship with our cargo.

"I was born and raised on a pirate ship, so I've developed quite the thirst for treasure. That would be enough on its own, but that's not the only reason. My father's ship, the Stormweaver, has been missing her scheduled arrival in Eredorn by about a month now, and there was a storm up north right around the time they would have been passing through. If there's any chance they might have been blown north off the map, then I'd like to see for myself if possible," Jade says, trying to keep the concern out of her voice.

"What will our accommodations be? Bunking with the rest of the crew or in private cabins? And of course barring a storm or other emergencies when it's all hands on deck, what are our responsibilities during the voyage?" Jade asks, giving the contract a look, more to appear savvy than to understand it. It's all Ilideri to her, not having any experience with legal documents.

Zoralon GM wrote: Using rolls besides Perception is a GM call, and since I'll be rolling initiative for you (otherwise we'd waste a whole day for no reason every time combat started) I'll be deciding which rolls to use. I suggest that GM rolls player saving throws too for the same reason. Every time an enemy casts Fireball we don't want to wait for everyone to post their saves before moving on, and if they're not resolved right away there's a high chance they get lost in the shuffle.

male Terra Priman Scientist 1
Bicycle... ancient technology... two wheels, pedal-powered... actually, that would be brilliant, Ms. Williams! A bicycle can easily quintuple the distance covered when comparing a walking pace to a cycling pace expending the same amount of energy. Can we fabricate one? Yogh says, seriously.
After a quick peach-flavored Nutrishall, Yogh begins his analysis of the hardcopy data Williams printed from the main computer. He will see if he can determine the origin of the object which hit the Avalon (Terra Priman/Vexic/other alien/natural/etc.).
Knowledge (technology): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
I cannot determine the origin of the object which hit us, what a shame... (I'm going to assume an 11 isn't good enough :)

I'm not sure about how movement is divided. I know you can split your movement between IPs, but I'm not sure if you have to. It wouldn't make sense for characters with only 1 IP to be able to move 10m in a pass while a character with higher reflexes would have a maximum of 3 or 5 m per pass (depending on how many passes they have). I'll rule that you can divide your movement between passes however you want. If you want to move all 10m/25m in 1 IP, that's fine, you just have lost the ability to move in future passes in the same CT.
Reality Hackers, 2nd IP
Call off the tiger! I'm warning you! the Hacker's voice is more than a little frantic, but he still has not killed the girl.
Fighter 5 wastes no time in rushing to cover in the opposite direction of the tiger.
Jack, you're up.

IMHO, C.S. Lewis explained it best in Mere Christianity, Chapter 24, though it still remains hard to wrap your brain around.
C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity wrote: You know that in space you can move in three ways - to left or right, backwards or forwards, up or down. Every direction is either one of these three or a compromise between them. They are called the three Dimensions. Now notice :his. If you are using only one dimension, you could draw only a straight line. If you are using two; you could draw a figure: say, a square. And a square is made up of four straight lines. Now a step further. If you have three dimensions, you can then build what we call a solid body: say, a cube - a thing like a dice or a lump of sugar. And a cube is made up of six squares.
Do you see the point? A world of one dimension would be a straight line. In a two-dimensional world, you still get straight lines, but many lines make one figure. In a three-dimensional world, you still get figures but many figures make one solid body. In other words, as you advance to more real and more complicated levels, you do not leave behind you the things you found on the simpler levels: you still have them, but combined in new ways - in ways you could not imagine if you knew only the simpler levels.
Now the Christian account of God involves just the same principle. The human level is a simple and rather empty level. On the human level one person is one being, and any two persons are two separate beings - just as, in two dimensions (say on a flat sheet of paper) one square is one figure, and any two squares are two separate figures. On the Divine level you still find personalities; but up there you find them combined in new ways which we, who do not live on that level, cannot imagine. In God's dimension, so to speak, you find a being who is three Persons while remaining one Being, just as a cube is six squares while remaining one cube. Of course we cannot fully conceive a Being like that: just as, if we were so made that we perceived only two dimensions in space we could never properly imagine a cube. But we can get a sort of faint notion of it. And when we do, we are then, for the first time in our lives, getting some positive idea, however faint, of something super-personal - something more than a person. It is something we could never have guessed, and yet, once we have been told, one almost feels one ought to have been able to guess it because it fits in so well with all the things we know already.
TL;DR, "In God's dimension, so to speak, you find a being who is three Persons while remaining one Being, just as a cube is six squares while remaining one cube."

Yes you get CHA x 2 free BP to buy contacts.
Bilbo do you want to play a character? I don't really see how we can split in the middle of a canned adventure and it would get cumbersome to have to wait for us to relay back and forth. (I've done enough PbP to know that it wouldn't work- there's so much delay even without a second GM). At the end of the run we could switch. :)

I'd like to see the line of "time classes" expanded. I love the Time Thief and I love the idea of the Time Warden (whose pdf I wish to receive ;-) but I feel like the idea merits further exploration. Perhaps a divine time caster that is spontaneous, not prepared caster, but must spend each day's prayer praying for the previous day's spells from the god of time and will not receive any new spells until all previous ones are prayed for. (A nice bit of fluff that reinforces the weirdness of the timey-wimey ball.) Or maybe a time alchemist or time artificer who stores time motes/aeva in vials or crystals and uses them to fuel their potions/inventions?

I've actually decided to go NG instead of LN. I think NG fits better with my concept of his backstory, now that I've given it some thought. :)
A grey and white wolfhound wearing a pack saddle bounds into the Rusty Dragon, a frightened mouse running ahead of it toward the wall near Magnhlidr,
Amadeus! Stay! A hunched, cloaked figure wearing what appears to be a beaked doctor's mask rushes toward the dog and commands it before it can pursue the mouse any further. Lifting up a paw as if to walk forward, Amadeus sets it down again and looks at his master, panting good naturedly.
Sorry, Amadeus here just can't resist hunting sometimes, the man chuckles.
Now that he is closer, anyone nearby can tell that he is not wearing a mask, and under his hood is a head like a crow's.
The name's Avian Fletcher, and this is Amadeus, as I've said. he sits down near them and calls for a pint. So what's all the hubbub about? Came into town on some urgent business, and found a big festival going on. I'm afraid I'm not from around here.

I'd like to see new races. A balanced plant race, for example, would be awesome in my opinion. Alluria Publishing came out with the Oakling, but it's just too unbalanced. I'd love to see Abandoned Arts try their hand at it!
New base classes would also be awesome. :)
I'll take Class Act: Clerics please :)
Thanks!

The player may know you're casting Deeper Darkness, but did the NPC say to the PC "I'm going to cast a darkening spell, milord!"? The player should roll a Spellcraft check to identify the spell. If they can't identify it, then the PC has no reason to take the AoO other than meta-gaming unless the PC tends to disrupt any spellcaster in range, friend or foe.
Maybe the player needs reminded that just because the GM or other players say "I am casting X," that doesn't mean their characters are giving any sort of warning to those around them what spell they are casting.
