Steps to making a bard:

Step 1: Make your character sheet.

Step 2: Take a look at your character sheet.

Step 3: Realize that you are playing a Bard.

Step 4: Kill yourself.

Oh well, If I can't make a good combat bard, I'll just make a jester!

you are wecome

maybe give er' some of the brains, and see if she is one of dem tree huggin grass eatin hippehs...

actually make the orc double axe a martial weapon for orcs...and also the Gravity hammer...

The jester does all that without sucking at every thing else.

Thank you.

Again gravity hammer.

my point being:
not to 11d6 when the max damage is 10d6 for the spell at caster level 10 or above(without metamagic).

Laugh OUT Loud!!!! No, no it is not...Heck it is impossible to make a good bard period. A kolbold commoner could own a bard. bards straight up just suck, the jester on the other hand... now thats a good class.

(Check the pic)

put in the gravity hammer:

+4 Large knockback great impact thundering maul

of course for a medium character to use they need monkey grip.
Then the orc can go excotic weapon master and get the x2 on dmg that every one takes that class for.

I'd definatly say that that is enough...not all at once mind you, but if the barb is getting that kind of damage on crits then his regular attack must be hanous already.

answer to question 2: A spells max damage dice should never be increased passed max. Unless moded by a metamagic feat such as Empower Spell.

maybe a little...but not really......

I agree with Skeld,
Think of it this way... the initial attacks boosted by the power attacks are "seperate" from the rend which occures affter the initial boost of strength is used.

You look out the window and see brain-hungry zombies...I see a target-rich enviroment.

Haxors! mister Robinson! Haxors!...Im sorry dave i cant allow you to post that...

Unless played by a veteran barbarian, or even, dare I say it a bard, CN can work without disastrous affects. Unfortunatly it is usually the new inexpirienced players who choose CN, and that causes lots of trouble; mostly because they do not know in game restraint, and are probably not thinking, "If i do this will i, and or my party get killed if i do this?"

Sometimes a DM wants there to be a serious threat looming over the next hill that is a Dragon. Now the PCs know that the threat is a dragon, but the DM wants it to be a challange for later, and the PCs remember the last dragon they fought was a dumbed down version; and just go running in wontoningly. And that is how TPKs happen.

If you think about it evil characters are like advance emo kids. I mean they are all dark and want to be cool, but just end up looking stupid and not fitting in.(Cut Cut Cut)

My dilemma is that my subsciption for Dragon runs out on issue #358... And as you can imagine I cry myself to sleep every night about it...
