Good study vinyl screen. The only negative is a small crack in the vinyl that happened in the first few days of use. On the good side it has not gotten any larger and I have been using it for about 6 months. It fits letter sized paper in each of the 6 pockets. Laminate your sheets before you use them. It makes it easier to put the sheets in and take out. Also, the ink will not stick to the inside of the pocket if you leave it in for a while or it heats up. Great bunch of Mini's and tailor made for the AP. Everything you need is here. Every mini is good if not great. Crystal's style has a cartoon feel to it that my group likes. Some of the mini's in this stood out for one reason or another and I will put that in the spoiler. Spoiler:
Daemon, piscodaemon second hardest fight for my group and this mini looks mean! Dread zombie Cyclops- Fear them! With this set of 4 you will. Flytrap - Second favorite from the set. "Feed Me!" Greater water elemental- Favourite mini from the set. Nomen Centaur - Good and bad points for this set of 8. Bad is that the faces and poses seem very cut and paste. On the good side the color differences are enough that you will not confuse them on the map. Roc- While I am not a fan of the vulture like appearance it is on big nasty bird. Vordakai - I would have liked to have seen him with more bulk like the Dread zombie Cyclops. But those claws are ready to paralyze a few PC's Great Job Crystal! Tim's style fits Pathfinder Gnomes perfectly! Good Gnome figures are always hard to find. Many of them will work as 1/2 lings as well. While not all the hair is day glow and there is an unfortunate lack of silly hats the price keeps this at a firm 5 stars! Go team Bloatmage! First off I also must admit a bias as 5 of the ones in this set were commissioned by me. Great action poses in this set. I take a bag of Tim's mini's to conventions for people who do not have character mini's. I give people the option to take them if they like and always have someone walk away happy with a new mini for their character. These make Great mini's for a human PC at a price you can not beat. I love the detail on this map. The moss on the fallen tree and so many other little things pop out. Good variety in the natural features of the terrain, paths, a waterfall and a sinkhole with a fallen tree are just a few. Both sides will see a lot of use in my Kingmaker game. I used these during my last session of Kingmaker. The bad guys were chasing the PC's! They were very well received by the players. As it was an impromptu chase I was very glad to have these in my bag. Love my shirt! I agree with all the good things the other rater said. Top notch quality shirt. The packaging is odd but not all bad. Don't try and iron it, a time or two through the wash and all the wrinkles are gone. I got these after getting the Dwarven set. I am very glad I did. I thought it was a bit odd (and disappointing) that the cover character was not a mini in the set. Maybe in a future set...keep them coming! How can you go wrong? 20 miniatures for a buck and a half! Some cool and some odd, looking at you beatnick bard..ok game stats are already rolling around in my head for that one. There are 4 female and two that could be (no beard but look more male). So not bad if your looking for a female Dwarf (I was). I liked it enough that I picked up the Humans pack and am now waiting for his next pack. A great set of cards! Quality cardstock with a nice feel to each card. A few faces from the NPC guide and Kingmaker that will come in handy. I was pleasantly suprised to find some PFS Venture Captins in the mix as well. These cards will see a lot of use. |
