I know and I considered that but I really like supporting my local gaming store, and supporting paizo at the same time.

There's really no arguing with that. Good for you! And good for us!

And... umm... OP, you can get Pathfinder direct from us!

You know, I hear that we even have this service that will deliver it to your door every single month! Not only that, but we charge you less for that! Probably comes out to about what you would pay in a game store, if not less.

Silly threadjackers. Before we get back to our humorous interlude...

Ok I managed to give your info to my friend and even convinced him to start carrying your gamemastery modules as well.

Thanks, Jeremy. If we can help in any other way, let us know. :)

:-/ similar problem here in germany. my shop always is about 6 to 8 weeeks behind. a couple of days ago i was able to order RotR #5 (and got it). until today, no sign of RotR #6 and not even Guardians of Dragonfall.

i would say, they wait until they have enough "preorders" to compensate shipping cost but dont know if this is actually true because i don't know about their process of ordering...

Well, Beastman, my German distributors usually receive their copies 16-20 days after they leave our warehouse (which is the same time as everyone else's, they have their items on preorder). So, with their turnaround time, I would expect to see Pathfinders and Modules in German hobby stores about 25-30 days after they ship out of our warehouse, which would be about 20 days after official street date.

So, European copies should be about a month behind US copies, if that. If you're seeing longer times, it's probably due to the classic hobby store order lag.

The wonders of NAFTA and globalization at work! I wonder when we'll go to the Amero?

When Mexico stabilizes their economy and stops making ripoffs of American designer items at the same time that Canada stops sending us cold fronts. Note, when this happens, you will know by the sudden cold welling up through the soles of your shoes.

I know this much that he always talks about The Memphis Hub".

That's interesting. Sounds like he's not actually ordering from a Canadian distributor, but from an American one. I wonder if, after shipping and currency conversion, he's getting better prices from them than he would through one of the Canadian guys.

Ok I don't know wether it's just different release dates between different countries or what but my local gaming shop just received the 3rd pathfinder, but apparently you've released up number 6 can anyone explain?

*uses amazing Paizo powers to divine that you are in Canada*

Our Canadian distributors have them up through #6. I am very sure of that. You may wish to ask your game store if they've, in fact, ordered the others yet.

If they have, I and our sales team would be very interested to know what their supplier says about the availability. I'd also be curious to know who their supplier is (as I know who the primary companies I send them to in Canada are, but I don't have any idea how many other steps there may be in the chain).

But there is no special release date internationally. We ship them everywhere in the world at the same time. Canada's should only be a few days behind the US in receiving.

They say that it's impossible to convert between 2007 and 2008, but I find that if I just put a little ball on the bottom of my seven and close up the top onto that, you can hardly tell at all that the eight used to be a seven.

I just don't know what to do about this extra day in February, though. Feels like just a marketing gimmick to me, so I'm going to house rule the old number of days back in.

Just to put in my two cents...

In one of my current games, the women outnumber the men and the majority are devout Christians.

I also regularly play in games run by women, and have never not had a girl in my gaming group.

Also, I've never experienced any of the backlash against gaming. I really did think that was something we had left in the early 90s at the latest.

I poke numbers for a game company. Sometimes they dance, sometimes they flop about a bit.

The editors also occasionally let me peek over their shoulders and point at a comma.
