Great Idea, Tricky Execution

I want to start off by saying first and foremost that multiple players made a point of telling me how much fun this module was. They had a great time playing it. "Fun" being the ultimate measure of success, and therefore a 5 star review I'd love to have given it 5. What holds me back are two issues. The first is that the organization is tricky. With little time to prepare, I found the organization less than intuitive. There was a lot of flipping back and forth looking for locations and NPCs. The second, was there are some assumptions that just didn't fit with what the players did. For example, the title gave something away, so the players appointed themselves 24 hour bodyguards for the victim. I had to do some finagling to get it too work.

In the end though, fun IS what matters. A little creative DMing (and some amusing NPC opportunities) made this a good time. Excellent practice for GenCon.
