The fact is that this book details everything and gives preference to none. The popular toys have as much detail as the unpopular bookmarks and that's because this book was created to document the worldwide reach of 30 years of Star Wars collectibles. If it seems busy and daunting that's because the volume of material lends itself to that.

The main introduction is a great segue into the book and the chapter introductions are hilarious and a real treat to read. They go to show the good nature of the authors as well as their in-depth knowledge about all things Star Wars, not just the popular items. The chapter introductions really help the reader to understand these major areas of Star Wars merchandise.

It's an amazing achievement of self-published work. Thousands of these items have never been photographed or even mentioned in a book or website so just being able to see them is a real treat. Even Lucasfilm doesn't have records this detailed.
