Wolfstone in the City State of the Invincible Overlord
Protector and Slaver Hunter
Chisora grew up in the City of Warwick as a slave. She never knew any other life, being born to her mother, already a slave herself.
Her only real friend as she grew up was Rhiannon, the daughter of the nobles living next door to her master's estate. That is until Rhiannon moved away to join the army when Chisora was 14.
As she grew older, she grew into an attractive girl who drew the attention of the son of the Lord of the manor she was indentured at. One day shortly before her 15th birthday, she found herself alone cleaning one of the upstairs bedrooms when the son entered, locking the door behind him. He proceeded to have his way with her, despite her cries of protest. When he was finished he told her to shut up and when she continued to cry, he began to hit her until she was unconscious. She awoke some time later and made her way back to the servant's quarters, her face a mess of bruises and cuts. Her mother decided to take her case to the Lord for although he was tough, he was also fair to his slaves. The old man chastised his son for his indiscretion and the son was seen storming out of his father's study furious and raging. That night, the Old Lord died in his sleep and the son became the new Lord.
Things changed around the house and the slaves all felt the sting of his harsh new rule. Chisora was a favoured target of his anger and lust and by her 17th birthday she was no longer the beauty she once was. Both her body and her once cheerful disposition were scarred repeatedly by the sadistic man, turning the once friendly girl into a bitter and resentful young woman. She found the worship of Calistria one day as she heard some guests at a party talking about the Deity's helpfulness towards those seeking revenge. Praying to her that night, she was granted the power to sneak into the evil lord's room while he slept. The man awoke to find Chisora standing at the foot of his bed, a short length of wood held before her and anger in her eyes. He leapt out of bed and grabed for the rapier he had laying on a nearby chair, but before he could bring it to bear, he was struck in the head with the short wooden staff. Going down, he tried in vain to defend himself from the enraged woman he once took so much pleasure from and she did not stop hitting him until he was unrecognisable, his face a bloody mess.
When she finally came to her senses she found herself covered in the man's blood. Realizing what awaited her if she was caught, she fled the house and made her way across town. Finding herself in an alley behind the temple of Sarenrae, she crawled into a crate and fell asleep. She was woken up the next morning by the surprised gasp of a young Priest, coming out to drag the crate inside to be filled. When he asked her was she hurt after seeing the blood, she burst into tears and recounted her story. The Priest introduced himself as Friar Feres and promised to take care of her. He took her inside and allowed her to bathe and eat, then gave her a chance at redeeming herself by helping out at the temple. She thanked him and told him of her worship of Calistria and although the Priest was at first a little upset, he came to realize that altough she was beholden to the chaotic maiden for her deliverence, she was a worthy soul and so promised her that no harm would come to her. She grew to like the man and vowed to be his protector when he made his way to visit Wolfstone in hopes of bringing the worship of Sarenrae to the citizens of that city.
Chisora is a strange looking woman. You can tell that she once used to be quite attractive, but now her face and arms are criss-crossed with scars. A scowl is often evident on her face and she finds it hard to trust people, although once you have her trust she will defend you to the death.
Her hair is cropped short and looks uneven, almost as if she did it herself with nothing more than a knife.
Her lithe body is usually covered by black form fitting studded leather armour and soft black boots. A longbow is kept at her back and at her hips are both a bladed whip and a small staff. From her ready stance it is evident she know how to use them all and from her face it looks like it wouldn't take much for her to show you.
