I have an intimidation inquisitor and I'm interested in this spell but its description is a little confusing. The Range is "personal" and the target is "you" but in the body of the text description, it describes the bonuses you get and how they apply to ONE creature.

Now, this spell lasts for 10 min/level, so I'm thinking it makes for a decent long term buff. So my question is,

A) do I cast it, and the bonuses only apply to one creature at a time?
B) if A=true and if that creature dies, I can apply it to a different one, or is that it, one and only one?
C) Do I have to perceive the creature as I cast the spell?
D) Could the creature be designated later?
E) if D=true, could I designate an ally now and an enemy later?

...what do you think, too cheesy to give to an undead?

Its been a while since Jade regent has come out, and there's been plenty of material released. I've been wondering if a TXWG is still on a back burner somewhere? Are there plans at all for one?

Spoiler:
Encounter 3B, the Halfling Rogue in Tier 10-11 has two Advanced Rogue Talents (Opportunist and Defensive Roll), an 11th level rogue should have only 1 advanced talent, correct? Opportunist is also basically useless to the encounter since he is encountered alone.
How about replacing opportunist with something useful to the encounter, such as cunning trigger (APG) or some other talent?

Does the +2 bonus granted from the Ranger (guide) "Terrain Bond" ability scale as the Favored Terrain bonus increases?

I'd like to plan out to play the thornkeep series with a particular PC. is each part 3XP like a regular sanctioned mod, or something else?

Does the Gale Aura from Storms Subdomin (APG) require an action to maintain each round?
What level of winds are these winds considered? Strong, Severe, Hurricane, Tornado?

The Exchange 1/5

We just played this yesterday, and I have a question about items on the chronicle -

Spoiler:
is the +4 Gown of Resistance able to be upgraded to +5 in PFS?

The Exchange

I understand that future pathfinder society scenarios are going to be written on the assumption of 5 player parties...has any though been given to changing the assumption for the adventure paths as well?

The Exchange

If you beast Shape your Animal Companion into an animal of the same size, does it lose the effectiveness of the barding armor worn? I gather the section on losing equipment is written from the perspective of a humanoid changing into an animal.

The Exchange

2 people marked this as FAQ candidate.

The description of Step up and Strike states that "Using this feat does not count toward the number of actions you can usually take each round."
Does that mean that I can still take immediate actions? If a different enemy takes a 5' step away from my new position, and I have combat reflexes, does that provoke this feat a second time, so that I can move up to 10' again and get a second AoO against this second enemy?

The Exchange

Does anybody know a way of permanently increasing the speed of a mount that isn't a horse? (one without hooves - no horseshoes of speed) Looking for overland speed increases. Something that lasts hours if not permanent.

The Exchange

We're just finishing up book 3, and have 8 cities

Spoiler:
including Varnhold
and I'm wondering how this compares to other groups playing the adventure path. Do you have more cities, or fewer? Only one of our cities has multiple districts.

The watchmen and captain sculpts are the worst in my opinion. The heads are way out of scale, the hand width is wider than the head. Not bad otherwise but the head really takes me out of it.

The Exchange

Too small for a large base. should be about 30% bigger. I figure about twice as tall as a medium figure.

The Exchange

Great paint and pose, scale seems big though.

The Exchange

The ears have to go. I'm sorry, I know you guys like the japanese anime look to the art, but it doesn't carry over well to the figures, at least this sculpt. I keep wanting to call it a cat-person.

The Exchange

Great mini, looks awesome and size is perfect. Only complaint, is that it comes as a single since it is "medium" sized. It seems more appropriate for something like this to be packed 2 to a package, in with the smalls. I mean, you open the package and its like, that's it? :)

The Exchange 1/5

Well, there have been well over 100 scenarios released, and when you add in all of the sanctioned adventures, there have been enough scenarios out there to get 3 or 4 characters easily to 12th level. Yet we've only had one retirement arc, and none announced on the schedule for the remainder of season 3.

Hopefully we will see a second retirement arc in early season 4?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I guess I'm just surprised to see an Iconic in the big hero and monster set. Paizo already established a package of 4 iconics, I suppose I assumed that the other iconics would eventually be released the same way. I think it would make a great product line, working through all the base classe and prestige class portraits as hero figures.

So...is Ultimate Races going to be legal for Society play? please say no. I mean, as a judge, its bad enough having to keep up with all the new feats and classes and spells that have been released...but allowing players to come up with whatever that want regarding PC race just seems like the ultimate in powergaming.
I dunno. just seems like a bad idea.

Page two of the eratta PDF

The page 54 note regarding horses is printed twice. was it supposed to be a different animal the second time?

Does the Two-Weapon Rend feat qualify you for the Rending Fury feat?

The Exchange

Terrain Dominance allows the HW to treat enemies native to that terrain as favored enemies, using the terrain bonus as the favored enemy bonus, correct?

So in effect, you need the environment the creature is native to from the bestiary? if you have Mountains +8, and run across a Troll, you get +8 to hit and damage, since they're native to Cold Mountians.

My question is, what about creatures that have "Any" as the native environment?

The Exchange

"A monk need not have any of the prerequisites normally required for
these feats to select them."
How does this work with the level 10 bonus feat, "Snatch Arrows", if the monk does not have the "Deflect Arrow" feat?
