Charon motions back to Maeltheron and mouths a few words secretly. Charon will look around too to see what people look like. (Are they from this area? Does there seem to be someone overseeing things?)

Charon steps from the shadow with rapier and Night's End in hand. Bows before Dolelan, with a wide beaming grin. Charon states, "I'm glad your along Dolelan. I thought Leigald was the only person with a foolhardiness personality in this group. Be my guest to go first. I think I prefer my chances with Maeltheron." In a very cross tone to Ariella, "I would put a trap in a church. I'd probably put a trap in your church if I knew it would get the target. I'd put a trap just about anywhere someone is likely to venture. Specially, if I knew or wanted those people to follow. Dolelan may have forgotten about the inn and Sir Walter Thomas, but I have not. I don't mind playing games or chasing, but I prefer to do it on my own terms."

Charon frowns at being asked to check the door."Generally, walking through the front door is a good way to get killed. I'll check it, but I wont be the first though." Charon brandishes her magical rapier and Night's End, upon Alenthyn casting his spell. She looks at him coldly."We can use hand signals, magic isn't needed." "I'm not fond of frogs, but they do work when there are no more rations. You dont see them much in the city though. I'm not sure if they gather like this normally." Charon stealthily draws a Nights' End. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24

Charon steps from the shadows, blades in hand. Charon states,"Either fix it quickly or lets go. I can careless who gets hurt, other than our target. What's a few more dead people? Chances are whatever we're chasing is killing more than this dumb well." Charon shakes her head. "I'm beginning to like you Ariella. You seem to have a strong sense of survival. Alenthyn is right though. We shouldn't be wasting our time."

Charon swings at the ghoul in front of her. High then low, hoping to trip it up. Yelling back at Ariella, "Get behind me." Then mutters something about casters being too frail. With a quick roll, Charon will slide 5ft south after her attack. Magical Rapier: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 201d6 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Charon sees the fireball light up the sky. Thinks to herself.... damn casters. She stays hidden til her prey passes towards the group. Charon will delay, while remaining hidden, until a creature passes or is near enough for a 5ft step and then attack. combat stuff if needed: Nights end(main):1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 101d4 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Sneak attack(if applicable):2d6 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5) + 2 = 12 Rapier +1:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 131d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Charon looks around for signs of danger upon entering the glade. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 Charon notices the growls and hears Ariella's yell. She'll duck into a shadow closer to the group waiting for the creatures to react. Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (20) + 13 = 33

Charon flourishes Night's end and her magical rapier to her hands. Charon steps out of the shadows to nod at Dolelan and Ariella in acknowledgement. Charon says to Dolelan in jest, "It's not like your going to be pulled up into the sky or anything?" Then steps back into them. Stealth: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15
Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3
Charon steps out of the shadows and says in a very firm manner, "I know nothing of these parts, seeing that I am not from this area. Dolelan would be a better point or guide. I'll follow behind or from flank in the shadows. Also, I'm not fond of being a target. My skills are more sharp in a more urban setting then a forest. If you have someone in your group that knows their way around, feel free to have them take point. I care not.

Charon returns with weapons in tow, up from the cellar. Hearing Ariella's question she responds, "Jackal’s Folly. That is were Sir Walter Thomas said he would be, we know it's a trap. But that's the only way I'm gonna to be able to put a dagger between his ribs. We owe him a bit of a debt, which will be paid." Charon moves over to Dolelan. Nods, then quickly whispers over his shoulder.

Charon smirks at Rikka's comment, shrugs at Ariella. Then goes down to collect the items. While down there she'll gather up weapons in her backpack. She'll inspect the statues to find the copy of nights end. She'll also grab the copy of Night's End in the statue and put it in her pack. Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

To the group and looking in Dolelan's direction, "Dolelan, the mayor was dead before we left. Remember when we entered his house and the shadow beast ripped out his throat. Shortly, before Nera and I decided to play a little." With a quick pause, then grin Charon looks to Ariella, "They are fun creatures to fight." With Alenthyn's impressive but quiet muttering, Charon looks over to Rikka. She states coldly pointing at Alenthyn, "He seems to carry his words better than you. Perhaps you should take some lessons from him." Looking back at Alenthyn, "Well met sir." Looking back to Dolelan, "I'm going to gather our items downstairs. I should only be a few moments. Then perhaps we can talk while we move, with this large of a party we will be slower."

Yea, sorry Charon's not so good with strangers. Ariella Moiraine wrote:
Charon looks Ariella in the eyes, "Right now we're wasting time, but we're going after the thing that created these shadows. Personally, I don't think we need help. The others may argue that fact. If you want to tag along, do so. Just don't get in my way, when we meet their creator." Charon turns around and walks to the cellar, "Dolelan, lets gather our gear and go."
Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3
Charon moves past Dolelan and towards cellar entrance. She'll sheath her rapier and dagger.

Maeltheron Timmerond wrote: Take it easy there missy. I believe that we are on the same side, and an arrow between your eyes for such a surly attitude would be truly unfortunate. Charon calmly states Elven:
"I'm still not sure of your side. Last elf who made that comment had a dagger under his chin before he could pull his bow string. If you want to put away your weapons, I'll do the same." Rikka Rask wrote:
Charon shrugs "Red, all blades have a price. If you hunt the shadow creatures, I wish you good luck. Hopefully, you're as skilled with that blade on your hip, as you are with your tongue." Charon drops her defensive guard and acts like the other group isn't even there. She looks and moves toward Dolelan and Nera. "Let's gather our things and go. Dolelan we need to gather the other objects, as well. I'd rather not leave things to chance." Charon moves toward the cellar and is done with the conversation.

Stepping out of the shadows. Almost dumbfounded upon hearing Legiald's statement, shoots him a very deadly glace. With a quick pass by, Charon quietly says in his ear, "Are you an idiot? What if these people were hired to kill us? You openly admit we're the group their looking for. I thought you were smarter." With rapier and new dagger in hand, in defensive position. Looking at Maeltheron stating Elven:
"Hold your distance, sir. We can cross blades later if you like, but I'd like some answers first." Charon states in a calm and cold manner, "Who sent you and why? I understand your searching for us, but it would be a convenient excuse to be hunting the same monster that we are. Also, why are you after it? We've got our reasons, lets hear yours."

Action if Dolelan gave Charon info:
Charon will quickly state to Doleran, "I'm going to use that dagger, make sure those other weapon stay hidden or with you. We could have some bandits on our hands. Nera head up with me Legiald always needs our help."
Charon will quickly grab the dagger. She almost beams with eerie light, like she's looking forward to a battle. Action if Dolelan didn't gave Charon info:
Charon will quickly state to Doleran, "Take those and hide them. Nera, we need to get up there. Legiald is more likely to die before we even get up there." Charon with a slight smile, heads towards the ladder. Thinking to herself damn that Doleran, they could probably use weapons for the battle ahead. Plus the blades seemed very balance. But who wants to chance a cursed blade. Charon will head up trying to stick to the shadows and staying hidden. No need to stick her neck out right now. Legiald is good at taking hits, also that tree shouldn't have too many issues. Once she's up and hopefully found some cover. Charon looks around to figure out their situation. Stealth roll: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27
Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3
Sitting there watching Dolelan study these weapons, Charon looks at both very perplexed. Charon can normally figure out if a blade is good, but never know the lore or magic behind it. Magic is always something that eluded her, which she hates. It looks so simple, but there is no good way to practice it. Charon states to Doleran, "Of course I'm right. Who would make replicas then place them in statues, then make a second set to put in a secrete box?" Charon realizes her tone may have been a little harsh, "Perhaps we do need some rest. Although, I'm not fond of resting where we found enemies. They know the weapons were here, so will others. Information travels quickly. If you have the time or while we rest, I would love to hear the stories about the weapons."
Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3
Charon debates for a slight moment on sleight of handing, several of the items. None in the group seem to be very observant, nor will they put them to as good of use. Nera is almost borderline crazy, which wont matter. Charon intends to finish what Nera started after this is all done. Legiald is on his last leg about every battle, it wouldn't surprise her if Legiald was taken out by these monsters. The orc thing disappeared. Now, Dolelan seems resourceful. He seems to have knowledge of area and fairly skilled in his craft. Resourceful can useful, specially when you have a angry shadow-like monster your chasing after. Only bad thing, seems to be his temperament. He seems more to be doing this out of helping people, then money or revenge. Charon tosses out a quick joke, meant more to be serious in Dolelan's direction."If I didn't think more than half of us would die from this venture, you wouldn't have seen most of these weapons still in here. But they seem useful to the group, so they are still here." Charon will motion for Dolelan to look. With what almost seems like a quick gleam of joy, Charon changes her expression to her normal calm cool demeanor. Then she goes on to say, "What do you make of these Dolelan? Perhaps these are what the beast was searching for? Remember the statues weapons that were ornamental, could these be genuine weapons they held or fakes?"
Female Human Two-Weapon Fighter- 2/Rogue- 3
Charon nods at Dolelan in acknowledgement for trying to help. Charon goes on to say,"I'll try it my way first, I haven't met a lock I couldn't get yet. If it doesn't work or I blow up, use the amulet." Charon pulls out her thieve tools and tries at the lock again.
