As much as I hate to say it, I' alittle gone on this one... really sorry to see it go."
Tia assures the others she will meet them on Kamino and returns to find Sabaac finishing the final preps. She grabs the pilot seat and begins the ignition sequence, slowly lifting off the platform, but waiting until Sabaac is sitting next to her before gunning the thrusters and jetting into space.
Opening up a hailing frequency, she makes sure that she can communicate with the other ships before entering Hyperspace en route to Kamino.
Tia looks around the group gathered before her and shakes her head. She whispers quickly into her wrist computer, telling Sabaac to plot a course fro some planet named Kamino and informs him that she''l be back soon and that there's a job in the works.
She turns back to the others, holstering one of her blasters but keeping the other in hand just in case reinforcemnets do decide to turn up. "I'm T'ilaqua. I do freelance problem solving, so this job sounds right up my alley. I've got a ship, my co-pilot is preping her as we speak. You lot seem handy in a fight, but I wouldn't be too liberal with the use of that lightsaber there. Showing colours like that is likely to get you killed in some of the places I frequent."
She takes in each of the members gathered before her, pointedly ignoring the Devaronian after his first statement about the job.
"So I take it none of you know each other?"
Tia's interest is piqued when the Devaronian mentions the meeting. "Just what kind of meeting," she asks carefully.
She turns to the others. "My ship needs some new parts, so I'm interested if there is a paying job to be had. She turns back to the Devaronian. [b]"Does it have anything to do with this mess and if it involves a job, then how much would it pay?"
Yeah just busy with work.
Tia shakes her head at the Jedi, preferring to stand back out of the way and not get so involved.
"We should get moving," she says to the Mandalorian. "Bring the Jedi if we must, but I don't want to be here when their reinforcements arrive."

Sorry about my absence... I've been busy this week and haven't had the time to devote to PbPs.
T'ilaqua's sensors pick up something bad about to go down right before the lasers scythe their way through the Cantina. She raises her pistols towards the operators of the Walker, only to see the whole thing go flying though the air as Jern's Force Power throws it backwards.
Shaking her head, she quickly puts a call in to Sabaac. "How are you going with that prep Sabaac. Things just got very ugly here and I believe we're going to need to make our way off planet very soon. I'll be with you as soon as I can"
She turns to Hunter. "I don't suppose you know what in the Sith is happening here do you? What were those dan Jedi thinking being all noble like that. They're going to get the rest of us killed."
She looks back outside. "I don't know how long before that Walker is back online or reinforcements arrive, but that is certainly no Law Enforcement I've ever seen."
She turns towards the others hurrying everyone into the tunnels. Are we leaving through the tunnels? I think I'm going to just return to my ship. This place is becoming too hot for my liking and the spare parts can definately wait until the next planetfall."
Tia sees watches the events unfold, her pistols drawn but not raised and facing in the direction of the confrontation. She scowls at the little Jawa for throwing the Ion Grenade, not caring about the fact that there appear to be both Jedi and Sith posturing on either side of the room.
She taps her wrist computer and speaks softly into it. "Sabbac you better get the Queen prepped and ready. It appears that some kind of dispute between a whole lot of factions is starting to errupt here and I don't really want to be caught in the middle of it if I can avoid it."
Looking back and forth between the two Force Users, she moves towards the Mandalorian, thinking that he would be good to have nearby if trouble did continue.
Initiative. (1d20+12=15)
Tia narrows her eyes when the Jawa pulls out the Ion Grenade, her hand moving to rest on her right blaster, the left on her hip close by her other blaster.
When she sees the crazy little creature throw the grenade in the direction of the droid, she pulls out her blasters as she dives for cover, trying to put as much distance as she can between herself and the incoming blast.
Tia c o c k s her head to the siede as the situation unfolds before her. She wonders to herself why it was that lifeforms insist on picking fights with one another. Although at the same time she is grateful that they do, or else she probably wouldn't exist.
She casually unfastens her holsters, giving easy access to her guns, but refains from involving herself at this juncture. For the moment she is content to let the situation unfold before her and sort it out if any of them decide to bring the fight her way.
T'ilaqua glances at the armoured pair, but doesn't pay them much heed. She does however eye the AT-RT with caution.
As she approaches the Cantina, she looks quizzically at the Twi'lek and continues to watch her as she walks past and into the bar.
same_random_hero wrote: If you want junk, go see a jawa!! She stops at the exchange, thinking about where in town she could possibly find a junk merchant let alone a Jawa! She heads towards the nearest cantina to try and see if she can get some information about city and where she might find what she's looking for, sepecially with possible Sith interest in the planet forthcoming.

A beat up old shuttle with it's wings folded above it and painted an eye searing white sits in one of the seaside berths, her boarding ramp extended, but noone to be seen. Suddenly a droid's head pokes down from a hole in the hull and it calls out in a low drone, "give that a try."
A whine begins that slowly turns into coughing sputter and then falls silent. A sultry female voice can be heard wafting down from the interior of the shuttle "try the force clamp on the retro booster. I noticed a tiny crack in it last time I was in there and it could have gotten bigger. Seal it up with some poly resin until I can get a replacement panel for it."
The droid head disappears back inside the hole and in few minutes reappears and once again says, "give that a try".
This time the engine whine stays steady for a few minutes before before going through a shutdown sequence.
A striking woman in revealing black & blue leathers and blue hair strides down the ramp momnets later, apparently unheeding of the sea breeze wafting in. She is strapping a bright red utility belt around her waist as she walks and adjusting it around twin blasters in their holsters. She walks over to the panel hole and calls up, "seems like that was the problem, so I'm gonna go and see if I can pick something up from a scrapyard in town. That'll hold for a while, but I don't wanna leave us having to rely on it if the going gets tough. Kepp tinkering and I'll be back when I can."
She turns, not waiting for or receiving an answer and heads off into the town proper to see if she can find what should be a relatively common part for the engine housing.
Dun, dun dun dun... dun dun dun du du du du du, du du du du du duh,
du du du duuuu duuuu, du du du duuuh duh, du du du duuuh duh, du du du duuuuuuuuhhh!
Bad rendition I know, but use you imagination :)
OK her stats are done.
Still have to write up Background/History.
Still have to finalise Equipment (it's almost done, just fiddly bits to go) and fill in stats for Ship and Droid Co-Pilot (NPC Pilot Droid who basically just stays with the ship - I was thinking Follower, but can't find the rules and figure I'd have to take Feat I can't spare anyway, so just bought it as an NPC).
Otherwise as long as there's no Space Battles I'm pretty much good to go.
I've started setting stuff up in her Profile, but I've just copied over another Character's Sheet, so there will be a lot of disparity in what you're seeing until I get everything fixed up.
I'll let you know when I'm done, but it should be no later than Wednesday *crosses fingers*
It might take me bit longer to get her Ship written up, as I've never done a Ship before.
Jerrn Darklighter wrote: No problem. My Force sense is getting all itchy, imagining the cool. Must learn patience... Console yourself with the cool Pic of my Character.
Just go to her Profile & there's a linky there. :)
Jerrn Darklighter wrote: SO, not to be impatient or anything, but are we ready to go with this game yet? We're just waiting on me.
I got swamped with work last week and haven't had time to finish my character. I pretty much know what I want, it's just a matter of getting the time to commit it all down on Paper and then transfer it over to my Profile.
Sorry.
This will be my Character. I'll get her statted up and finished off over the next couple of days.
