I'm afraid I'm going to pass on a new game. I've realized lately I've overextended myself a bit on PBP and am hoping to reduce my numbers (through games ending, since I don't want to drop out of anything). Good luck to all of you, though! Have fun and stay safe!

Calla smirks at the demon. She'd been about ready to kill it -- surely the goddess would have provided -- but Anklebiter saved it and she can deal with it later. After all, she has decades with little to do. Later, she nods at the goblin. Riddleport would do as well as anywhere to start.

Man, I'm sad to be losing Calla now that it's (almost) all over. Nice job, everyone. This will be the second AP I've finished. And almost all the original cast (I'd forgotten completely about Belana, and that Kelendra wasn't with us from the beginning).

Calla smirks, walking over to the body and taking her two remaining elf-bane arrows and driving them deep into the corpse's eyes. "My mistress' power was more than you could stand again. May your soul enjoy what happens to it under the demons it's consigned to," she intones. Smiling cruelly, she looks around at the others. "Never cross Calistria," she proclaims, though clearly including them as part of the reason to hew to that maxim, as opposed to any sort of warning to them (though she won't be upset if they take it that way, just in case). She looks to Anklebiter and Kelendra, giving them nods as they case their protections and her own magics fade away, and then to the glyph. "Bruendor and Lefrik, perhaps you should wait outside. In case this glyph destroys in a way that kills us, at least two should be ready to return above and let the elves and others know what happened," she says.

Oh crap. If they go to sleep, that will be very bad for us. :O GM, unfortunately, I had to move last round adjacent to Lefrik so I could use that spell. I should be at Z-65. Quick stats:
HP 109/109 AC 26/29, touch 18, flat-footed 21/24 Fort +13*, Ref +11*, Will +15*; CMD 28 Divine retribution (DC 18) 0/6; Judgments 3/5; Bane 5/13; Discern lies 0/13 cold iron arrows 0/21; elf-bane arrows 0/3; human bane arrows 0/4 Spells: 0/6 (first-level); 5/6 (second level); 2/5 (third level); 1/3 (4th level); 1/1 (fifth level) Consumables: Gravity Bow ring 0/3 Effects: Destruction judgment (+5 damage); Justice judgment (+3 to hit; +6 to confirm criticals); heroism (+2 morale bonus on attack rolls, saves, and skill checks); greater magic weapon (+1/+2 to bow) Calla steps back, pulling one of the gems from her pocket and smashes it to summon an elemental, and sends it into the fight. 5-ft. step to AA-65; move action to pull the gem, standard to activate it, free action to direct the elemental.
The large air elemental flies forward, taking up a protective position as it slams out at the nearest drow. Move to occupy w-x-68-69, which will hopefully block bolts from the right and attack drow at U-69 (this might provoke from the vrock). Slam: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (10) + 14 = 24

Calla calls. "Calistria calls you to account!" She moves forward, casting a spell as she touches Lefrik. Swift: Activate destruction and justice judgments (+3 to hit, +6 to confirm crits; +5 damage)
So that's +3 to his attack rolls, and +6 to the crit confirmation, plus +5 to each damage

Thoughts on what spell I cast here, everyone? I could do hunter's blessing, which would give everyone +2 sacred bonus on Bluff, Perception, Sense Motive, and Survival checks attempted against the elves, and a +2 sacred bonus on attack rolls and damage rolls made against the elves. That'll last hours Alternatively, I could cast greater lend judgment on Lefrik, which would give him a general +3/+5 to attack/damage, but for only 13 rounds. It would also be lost if I need to change my judgments (along those lines, I could also give us both fast healing or a +3 to AC/saves instead, but I only can pick two of them and we'd both have to have them).

Don't forget we all (except AB, IIRC) have two elemental gems. Dropping those feel like pretty useful turns... There are two of each, and we didn't decide who had which, so I guess determine randomly.

That's fair. I'm the same. I think at that point, though, let's throw open the door and get his started. Or finished. I think it's hard to see we've got tactics if we don't technically know what kind of s~@$storm we're about to walk into.

I have no ability to cast silence. Plus "Please DO NOT post a combat action or buffs beyond what you have already posted until everyone is leveled and ready!" So I think we probably shouldn't be doing any of that stuff. I think the big question is do we go in and try to take the fight to them -- or see if we can lure some out and see what happens.

I think we're ready, guys? Do we want to try to lure them out? Like I said, I plan to break my two elemental gems, though I suppose when exactly I plan to do that depends on our plans. I don't know if it makes sense to send them in if we're not going in with them... Up for other ideas for tactics. Could summon one and buff them, maybe use a silence spell to stymie the baddies?
