Sometimes it is possible to miss Caladrius' entrance into the room, but in most cases highly unlikely. He enters with a flourish of his blue and gold liveried cloak and looks around meeting the eyes of everyone with his own piercing yellow eyes. He is tall and slender without being skrawny and has slightly long brilliant copper hair and moves with confidence as if he knows a great many things that you do not. Unusually for a gentleman he does not wear a sword, instead appearing entirely unarmed.
-Caladrius is the child of a lady-in-waiting at the court of silverkeep and a mecenary/adventurer who worked for a time as a bodyguard and companion to King Haric at the beginning of his reign.
-Despite being illegitimate, he was schooled with the other noble children, probably by order of the King and presumably as a favor to his father.
-The other members of court see him as a rake and are not quite sure why the King seems to indulge him so much, ie. let him stay around.
-One night while being attacked in an alleyway, he discovered that he had draconic powers when he breathed a blast of flame which immolated his attackers.
-Caladrius assumes that he will eventually become a counselor on matters of espionage to King Haric's daughter, with whom he is vaguely acquainted, when she takes the throne.
-He also very much wants to have a noble title or knighthood or lordship in his own right since, although he would never admit it to anyone, being a bastard is a sore spot, especially since he grew up with the legitimate nobles of his generation.
-It was on King Haric's orders that Caladrius was educated and raised at court instead of being packed off to a distant relative like other noble bastards. So while the King has no overt realtionship with Caladrius he clearly has an interest in him and his future career.
-Caladrius heard from his mother shortly before she died that he had a half-brother on his father's side. While he has virtually no information about this alleged brother, he would be very curious about whether his sibling shared his abilities.
-Ahmose is a freind of Caladrius' who is a soldier-of-fortune claiming to be from Altin across the sea. In any case he provides Caladrius with interesting tidbits of information from across the world, however with war coming there is a good chance that he will turn tail and run.
-While Caladrius likes to think that he is prepared for every eventually he rarely thinks far enough ahead to have a plan Any-Letter-Except-for-A and usually survives based on seat of his pants action and luck.
