Female Aasimar Wizard 6 (HP 53/53; AC 18/18/15; CMD 16 Fort +5; Ref +7 Will +8; Init +3; Perception +11; Darkvision 60 ft)

Guys I did not know there was even a recruitment thread so I have 364 posts to read!

Whew. Where do you guys find the time.

Internet very limited until late Sunday. Any suggestions how to tackle so much game info?

Where are the rules for leveling up? Like amount of magic items and what we are allowed to do.

Judge you lost your shadow?

Thanks for all the help with the builds I will get to them all, I really appreciate it. Jax put a lot of work in. There may have been others but I have not gotten to them yet. Please keep them coming.

I am traveling with family but I will be free by Sunday.

May I please get help building my character?

I really have no real experience building a high level character.

Hi guys!

WOW! You restarted!

I had no idea!

Do I get credit for getting DM to reconsider?

Our champion will probably ask theirs to yield and the battle.

In a covered whisper to Dren and Ulp.

'There are dozens of spiders in the trees. Some the size of a Goblin, maybe we should wake Grumblejack.'

Jax Cуровую gave you a scroll of Mirror Image as well.

Dren or Ulp, do you have any means of waking up Grumblejack from where we are.

It may be safer to have him awake, although make sure he does not start attacking.

Cуровую in theory could send a single Force Missile to wake him but our hosts may consider that 'casting' and drop more spiders on the ground.

I was asking if Cуровую could help Jax, with the thinking that a win would help our over all situation by gaining respect, please don't all jump the gun on me.

DM Cуровую had Lingusitics 21, Sense Motive 27, and Knowledge Local 24, any clue to what these things are?

Questions about our hosts were left unanswered from the last page

Female Aasimar Wizard 6 (HP 53/53; AC 18/18/15; CMD 16 Fort +5; Ref +7 Will +8; Init +3; Perception +11; Darkvision 60 ft)

I was asking out of character not in character and Cуровую could cast at a distance where hopefully they would not hear the spell and how could the Sense Motive a Haste?

And can't Jax five foot step and cast Darkness to try to level the playing field? Although that guy may have Darkvison as well.

Knowledge Local 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (11) + 13 = 24 what is Jax up against?

Female Aasimar Wizard 6 (HP 53/53; AC 18/18/15; CMD 16 Fort +5; Ref +7 Will +8; Init +3; Perception +11; Darkvision 60 ft)

Cуровую can cast Invisibility on herself so that it hides the assisting of Jax, and then cast spells like Haste and Cat's Grace on Jax without being seen if you guys are ok with that.

It depends on the duel! What if its who recites the best poems or who has the most fabulous shoes?

Admittedly Jax would still be in the running for either but you get my meaning.

Absolutely right, sorry it was not marked off when I checked my sheet.

Sense Motive 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27 on our hosts, what are they thinking? Do they have any curiosity about us?

Can these be made allies? Say if we brought them apple pie?

Did the Linguistics detect what their diction and accent came from?

Female Aasimar Wizard 6 (HP 53/53; AC 18/18/15; CMD 16 Fort +5; Ref +7 Will +8; Init +3; Perception +11; Darkvision 60 ft)

Using Linguistics to try to determine the possible source of the accent and pronounciation, Elven? Fey?

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 21

Rapidly. In Talirean, then based off Linguistics, possibly Elven and Fey

"We seek no quarrels and have no desire to remain in your domain, we are but passing through this area."

Diplomacy 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

Casting See Invisibility focusing on the direction of the voice first then to where Grumblejack is laying.

Jax had exactly the right idea: correct play here was to engage indirectly and tease information out of him without actually asking.

Third, you could seek to ally with him. He's a deeply evil creature and a bloodthirsty sadist with a hair trigger temper, so you'd have a lot in common. He can't be made more than Neutral towards you, but that's good enough to strike simple deals -- "watch our backs and report who comes past", "kill anyone you see who looks like this", etc. For a price, naturally.

Could you give an example of indirectly getting information without actually asking?

Cуровую was trying to ally with the creature even before she realized how deadly he was, being familiar with the area he could have been useful.

To everyone,

I am sorry I thought we had slowed down and not been posting and I just checked there are over 94 and 80 posts in two threads I had not seen, I have been a BAD Player! Sorry! I hope my being away was not the cause of Edmin's death, I saw the Judge die and was sad but now I feel even more terrible.

I had finals last week (this week is just papers but still time consuming), two jobs and also guests in New York, and finally Mother's Day. I think I average 4 hours sleep at best and I was just hit with exhaustion and fatigue.

I told DM, as a short example, Sunday night I walked the highline (when you come to New York you should definitely consider taking a walk) from work to my home and later on that evening it took me two hours to realize I walked home! I was in like out of body experience. And I still have trouble falling asleep.

I have work and a paper due by mid tomorrow but I promise to post later this week at length.

Female Aasimar Wizard 6 (HP 53/53; AC 18/18/15; CMD 16 Fort +5; Ref +7 Will +8; Init +3; Perception +11; Darkvision 60 ft)

I have 94 posts in gameplay to catch up on and 80 posts in discussion to read.

I was checking 4 to 5 times a day about a week before I got hit with a lot of work, schoolwork and even more work.

There were no posts 8 days ago and I still checked once since I had to focus on school and work and the last post I read was DM was really busy.

Sorry I will try to catch up in the next two days.

OMG EDMIN and the Judge died!

Isn't lopping off heads supposed to be Edmin's signature move?

At the very least we should save the Judge's head to make another skull bomb.

But really this makes me sad, read my post in discussion.

Female Aasimar Wizard 6 (HP 53/53; AC 18/18/15; CMD 16 Fort +5; Ref +7 Will +8; Init +3; Perception +11; Darkvision 60 ft)

Maybe there is a way to bring the Judge back when we get to the Horn.

Or we can 'borrow' funds from the Baron.

Aren't we close to the point where if we gave up resources, or were clever, say allying, borrowing or robbing the Baron, where we can bring back a character?

As a player I am actually very :(

Would Cуровую casting Blood Transcription on the Judge be a proper way to honor him? He was morbid like that.

DM I have a question, in theory could the Judge play the Baron as a PC? They have similar inherent dispositions.

On the plus side, if the Judge wants to remain dead, instead of coming back to life then becoming ... undead, then DM Bref is just one player short of finally starting Jade Regent with Xen, the Judge and Morsum already around the game table.

Cуровую was about to switch to Infernal Healing this round but I don't think it helps.

The Good news, Edmin gets a (slightly used) circlet of Charisma. But seriously can we actually Raise characters now if we say 'borrow' funds from the Baron? We may have resources to bring the Judge back.

Did it really take just two hits to kill the Judge?
