Marry me.

Here's hoping it's out by Wednesday.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

We're talking about Shackled City, not Age of Worms here.

Age of Worms have Eberron conversions for Whispering Cairn by Keith Baker in the Dungeon #124 Web Enhancement. More to come in the Age of Worms Overload as well.

Er, nevermind. I see now one of the people in said thread was James Jacobs. Oopsie!

Currently, there is no official conversion notes for running Shackled City in the Forgotten Realms or in Eberron. There's also nothing of this sort in the hardcover. Hopefully, we'll be able to provide something like this as a web enhancement, but no promises yet...

You know, someone like James Jacobs. Sheesh, how embarassing.

Do we have an ETA on when Overload will be released? I feel like a little kid on Xmas - expecting my present (Overload) to be ready & waiting under the tree (Posted online) first thing in the morning. Just hoping we could get an idea when we can tear of the wrapping paper (download it) and begin playing with it.

What he said.

I can't speak for everyone, but one of the major selling points for me was the Eberron conversions I thought were to be included in the HC. I even ordered directly from Paize instead of going to FRP games which carried the product at a cheaper price because I would get the product sooner, and I know how eager my players are to begin.

Now I find out (can someone from Paizo please confirm/deny this, or someone point to where they did say this) that the conversions will not be included in the HC. Needless to say, I am not too happy shelling out over $60 and finding out one of the major features I was expecting will not be there. I can now only hope that the conversions will be made available as a web enhancement in the near future.

And sure, I could do the conversions myself. The issue for me is not one of time, but quality. I am rather new to Eberron and am certain that my conversion would not be nearly as good as one made by say Keith Baker.

I heard on another thread (in the Age of Worms forum of all places) that Eberron conversion notes will not be included in the HC. Is this true? Will they be included in a web enhancement?

I had planned to run Shackled City in Eberron, and am most disappointed by this if it is true.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

What? No Eberron conversion notes!

Damn, my players are going to munity when they hear this.

Preorders should ship out to arrive at a customer's home by 7/27. The 27th is also the on-sale date for retail stores as well.

Cool!

Neato!

I take it 7/27 is the ship date for preorders, correct?

I see Paizo took someone's advice and put up a link to the Age of Worms Overload under Dungeon Mag Resources with a message saying that it is estimated to be up Friday.
Yeah...was anyone else fooled by that? I saw it, and gasped in shock and delight, thinking, "It's not supposed to be ready until Friday!" Clicking on the link revealed it to be nothing but a cruel tease. I guess it keeps the oblivious plebs from starting another 10 threads titled "Where is AoW Overload?" but shame on you, Robert Head, for teasing me!
Yep...

Ditto.

Another nice Web Enhancment/Design Diary would be a spoiler free "player's" guide to Cauldron.

Wow, I don't feel so old now :-)

Thanks you so much Mr. Jacobs, that really helped clear up some stuff. Mayby now there will be less whining. Anyway, its going to come out any day now and boy am I happy.

This is the internet. The whining, whether it is justified or not, will never stop.

As much as I can't wait for AoW Overload to come out, I'd rather you take your time and do it right than do a rush job.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

24

You really start feeling old when you have to think to remember your age.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

I noticed that there is an appendix dealing with character creation. It would be really nice to have this available in PDF form as well to make it easily distributable to the players. Just a thought.

I think people should be a little more grateful towards a free online-supplement.

I wasn't being ungrateful, just was trying to get an ETA.

So how often can we expect updates? Once a week?

Still working on it. As soon as it's finished, you will have it. Should be soon.

Define "Soon"

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

I plan on running SC in Eberron soon, and my players are chomping at the bit. I can't wait for my HC to come in.

Don't suppose we could get a preview of the new material? Like the Eberron conversions for Life Baazar? (wink wink)

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Roleplaying Game Subscriber)

Dungeon hit the stand yesterday, so where's that web enhancement?

Patient, aren't I :-)
