Thank you very much, GM! :D I can't think of any complaints on the game. You rolling for the results speeded things up but I think it would make things clearer if you showed the dice rolls or at least where you rolled for it. Like, if you rolled for Finnian's Will Save, just a note that he passed or failed it there.

Bubo nods after taking a quick glance around for any remaining spawn. He begins preparations to handle the body for transport.

"Search the ruins for anything of use as well. The wight may have, ah, kept things of interest."

Bubo steps back and throws a bomb at the remaining spawn.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (2, 5) + 5 = 12

5-foot step to G-4 and throw a bomb at the spawn at I-5.

Bubo, trapped in a circle of spawn despite his party around him, gives up an opening to concoct another bomb, throwing it with a spin at the spawn to his right.

Provoke an AoO from the spawn at I-5, bomb H-6 with splash affecting the group around except the square Kit is in.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 7 - 4 = 10 -4 from firing into melee
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 4) + 5 = 14 splash damage 7, DC 17 Reflex halves

Well, that's not good. I'll leave misdirection to you but I can't choose squares to avoid splash damage on a miss.

Bubo places the elixir back into his haversack before his hands busy themselves with creating another bomb, quickly throwing it at the spawn on the side he's protecting.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 3) + 5 = 13 splash damage 7, DC 17 Reflex halves

He takes another step back, staying close to the party.

Standard action to throw bomb at the spawn on I-9 with splash affecting J-8. Move action to place elixir back in my haversack, and 5-foot step to H-4.

I think that's a miss. GM, if it is, you or I can roll misdirection to your preference.

Bubo quickly drinks the elixir, swishing it in his mouth before spitting it back into its flask as his previous extract takes effect. He then moves closer to his party. "Don't get separated!"

Drinking the elixir then moving to I-5.

"Hmm."

Bubo's tail flicks idly as he goes through his options of finding the wight. Ah, but one of the creatures still survived. Best take care of that one.

The ratfolk takes out another concoction and sets it off, throwing it at the surviving spawn.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 7 - 4 ⇒ (19) + 7 - 4 = 22 -4 from firing into melee
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 6) + 5 = 15

Bubo steps up and quickly mixes a volatile concoction, hurling it at the spawn's master with magical aim.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 7 + 20 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 20 - 2 = 37 -2 from range penalty
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 2) + 5 = 11

Move to L-7, throw bomb at the master. And almost forgot, but knowledge to identify!

"Unfortunate," Bubo comments. "I don't suppose you would be willing to relinquish your hold on their bodies? Would be preferable to bring proof of their fate back."

He moves to the right as he talks, stepping past Finnian as the hand not holding a dagger digs through his bandolier to retrieve an extract. He drinks it after he finishes speaking then returns the vial to its place. "I don't suppose you are acquainted with an old woman?"

Move to N-8, cast True Strike.

Yeah, I think that was the anti-spam filter. If you trigger it, for example by posting very short sentences or just '.' repeatedly, it'll stop you from posting until you make something longer or different.

Ah, have you tried typing out a different sentence, or a longer one?

Oh, and I'd be interested in the level 4 and up adventure. :P

While he's about, Bubo drops by a few shops to place some orders.

He first goes to Riggar's in order to purchase armor. Would like to buy a Mithral Shirt.

He then heads over to Bartleby's, handing him a list of what he wished to purchase. I'd like a Handy Haversack and one each of Elixirs of Hiding, Tumbling, and Vision.

That done, he returns to his own shop displaying alchemical items and potion of his own make.

Bubo ready to be put back in the list.

Craft (alchemy): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (16) + 13 = 29

Bubo moves away from the fire then retaliates by throwing a bomb straight ahead at the priest's partner.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 = 15
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (2, 4) + 5 + 1 = 12

5-foot-step back (or move action). Then bomb at the warrior, and if it hits, splash (8 fire damage) misses Jack, Riggar, and the half-orc, but extends towards the priest. DC 16 Reflex halves.

As for splash, hit is the half-orc, the one wielding two swords directly south of the fireplace, and the one that isn't a mage directly east of Jack.

I think the fog is gone now? Only supposed to last three rounds. Bloody monks! 5-foot step SE then throwing a bomb and provoking an AoO. I'm targeting the ground to maximize splash damage and exclude ally squares. This splashes on the monk, misses Jack but somehow hits the guy behind Jack. Don't ask me how that works. Also hits the downed guy directly south of the fireplace if life wasn't miserable enough.

Bubo takes a quick step into the middle of the room before throwing a bomb into the fireplace, the explosion quickly spreading onto the enemy buy controlled enough to avoid himself and his allies.

Bomb (ranged touch vs. AC 10): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 6 + 1 = 11
Damage (splash,fire): 2 + 5 + 1 = 8

Wow, passed a touch AC 16? But yes, the half-orc takes splash. Plague vial is still active for hitting me so he needs to make a DC 16 Fort save or be sickened for 3 rounds.

Backed into a corner, Bubo quickly mixes a bomb and hurls it at the opponent in front of him.

Provokes an AoO but the attack is uninterruptible.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 1 = 16
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (1, 1) + 5 + 1 = 8
Miss Chance (20%): 1d100 ⇒ 70

Bomb in the face! Designating my own square as untouched by splash. I don't think Bubo could be aware of the enemy's position (unless someone informs him) and he'd likely rather not hit his allies, but if he does know the position of this enemy, he would designate the guy on the NW corner of the grease to be affected by splash (8 damage).

Quick Reference:
[ HP 27/27 | AC 17/13/15, CMD 14, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +2 | Init +2; Darkvision (60 ft.); Perception +10 ]

Yup, that was the miss chance. If on a miss, then it heads off in some direction (though I can adjust it some) but the splash damage will always hit the half-orc.

Quick Reference:
[ HP 27/27 | AC 17/13/15, CMD 14, Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +2 | Init +2; Darkvision (60 ft.); Perception +10 ]

Bubo takes a step back and peers through the fog. He quickly creates another bomb and throws it forward, hitting where he assumes the half-orc remained. He adds a little twist that misses where he remembers Jack moving at the expense of moving downwards to where he hears their enemy.

Bomb (ranged touch): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage (fire): 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 5) + 5 = 15

Total Concealment (50% chance): 1d100 ⇒ 36

5-foot step back and throw a bomb at the half-orc and the square Jack is in not affected by splash. Additionally, I deem the square that the black-haired fighter near the fireplace is in is affected by splash. 7 fire damage, DC 16 Reflex halves. I'll have to modify this if the bomb missed the half-orc.

I was trying to be vague because I'm not sure where Bubo is. Also, I can't edit the map, but it's the upper-right intersection of the center square between the barrels and the fireplace.

Bubo can't see a thing but quickly prepares a bomb and throws it in front of him, hoping for the best.

Bomb (vs. AC 5): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

Targeting the grid intersection in front of me (or the nearest approximate), which should be AC 5. Anyone in the squares around that takes 7 fire damage. If it's close enough to hit me, I deem the square I'm in to be unaffected by splash.

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

It functions as fog cloud but is technically a Supernatural Ability. Alchemy is also (Su) so I'd say it's "alchemical" in nature.

"Suit yourselves," Bubo says, taking out his dagger. He lifts his facemask for a moment and brings his weapon close, his tongue darting out to lick a firm trail across its edge. "It will be tight quarters and my fog will wreck visibility in most of the room for eighteen seconds. A charge would take advantage of it, but it should dissipate when we manage to get down."

The fog lasts 3 rounds and unfortunately grants concealment. That means a 20% miss chance on opponents 5 feet away from you. Further away and it's total concealment for 50% miss and you can't locate the opponent by sight. I wanted to open up with it in the surprise round so the enemy can't pinpoint where we barged in and can't gang up on me and Kit'arr in the first round. It should also be enough to get everyone through the door and take out most of them before it's gone, but tell me if you don't think the fog would help so I'll just go with ordinary bombs.

Bubo recommends that he be one of the first into the room. His splash damage with bombs would be useful when the enemy hasn't time to spread out, plus he is able to create smoke to effectively confuse and block sight to the party.

In the event he does get hit, Bubo says they would be in for a rather nasty surprise, holding up an ominous looking vial filled with a milky white concoction. He unplugs the cork and downs it before stashing it away.

Bubo will drink his Plague Vial - when Bubo is hit with a melee attack, attacking enemy rolls against Fort DC 16, sickens for 3 rounds if failed. Plague Vial lasts for 30 minutes.

"Ah, additionally, does anyone want their weapon poisoned? Though I say poison, it's more a matter of coating your weapon with a sample of my plague. Perfectly harmless to you, as long as you don't directly come into contact with it, and it is a simple enough matter for me to do so. It will only last for one strike, however."

It's a disease effect, not a poison one. The 'poison' has the same stats as above: Fort DC 16, sickens for 3 rounds. There is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't let Bubo poison your weapon. Unless your character is icky about that sort of thing.

While some of the others check the hedge, Bubo further inspects Monty's body before moving it somewhere it won't be stumbled upon.

Also, Bubo will search Monty's body for anything valuable, and perhaps clues to his identity. And then he'll hide the body. Dice rolls? Though I'd rather take 10/20.

Might I attempt to discern the cause of death?

"Medically dead," Bubo states before leaning in for a closer look. Quite handy to be already outfitted for forensic inspection with protection from contaminants--one of the perks of being in his line of work.

While working, he talks about the situation the party seems to have fallen into. "Perhaps a coincidence, perhaps not. We'll see. Go through with his plan?"

Taking 10/20 is ideal, but here are rolls:

Heal: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Oh, and checking the items for poison and the like before handing the coin and map to, uhh, Kit'Arr let's say for her to look at. Folk seemed to be a rogue so what better than another rogue?

Bubo has not imbibed any liquor, owing to personal preference and his body's uniqueness which he inclined to keep free from any contaminants.

With everyone else dubiously drunk, and their host definitively so, it fell upon him as the voice of reason. He didn't care enough to talk them out of it, however. Too much work.

He thinks about asking Monty about the particulars of the operation but realizes it might be exaggerated or wrong and it just wasn't worth the attempt to interrogate a drunken man.

He'd find out for himself when they arrived, he supposed.
