I will launch a blast of flame into the bridge with my boarding flamer

Brother Malakai will be behind cover...around a corner, etc.

"Aye, explosives seem to be in order..."

Like we need a plan beyond "walk up there and shoot that heretic scum right in his third eye".

"Sounds like a plan to me Captain."

"Well done Nathan."

Sorry for missing so much this week, I kinda worked til 1am 2am 3 am and 3 am this week...needless to say I was exhausted. That's 2 jobs, day job from 8:30-5:30 then working at home doing independent contracting til the wee hours.

"I believe I could awaken the engine spirit Captain."

"I know you've said there's not currently anyway to route deadly substances into the control room now...But could we reroute some pipes or anything down here, or externally to do the trick Sir?"

"Amen"

Malakai says: First contact protocol, perfect Captain, that's why I follow you...

"A brisk walk keeps us in shape...what of these survivors, do they interfere with your claim on this hulk Sir?

"Your lead captain..."

readies his flamer

Brother Malakai looks to the flaring lights, "That's not a good sign, Emperor preserve us..."

Throw a wrench in the works

"Where would the armories and small arms lockers have been on a ship like this sir? I only have so many flame charges, and if we run into some more resistance, we'll need a bit more...firepower..."

Sorry for the disapearence folks, it seems my Feed reader, did a bunk over the weekend, and didn't update this feed, and just this feed....grrr

That's odd, well we're still ready for ya!

I was asking the others the question...Brother Malakai knows not of these things...

"No sir, I do not..."

"Is there any way we could flood the bridge with flammablee gases and light it off?"

Brother Malakai follows orders and moves out of Sarvus' way...ready to attack any of the zombies that attempt to attack Captain Trask

Malakai will also work the grate with his chainsword

After penetrating armor, the damage is then soaked up by your TB at which point the leftover is then deducted from your wounds.

"Hey look!" Sarvus points at the panel, "A way out!"

OK so I took 3 dmg, what does the armor stop? all of it? none of it?

It goes like this... The "PEN" reduces your armour value, so if you have Armour 2, and the weapon has armour 2, your armour counts as 0 for this shot.

Then, you take the damage, and take your remaining armour value away from it, then take the 10's component of your toughness away from that, and anything left over, is the wounds taken....

Quite the complicated system....

So Pen 2 isn't that great, but Pen 6 is the armor shredder...

Flak armor has Armor 4, how does the penetration work?

Brother Malakai looks at Dominus likes he's insane, nothing the corpses between himself and the door...

Malakai moves to lop another head off a zombie as he makes his way back to the door. But stumbles as another grab s at his ankle, fouling Malakai's attack!

1d100=92

Brother Malakai attempts to lop the head off the nearest "zombie"

Initiative: 1d10+4=9
Attack WS [4]5 1d100=31
DMG: WOW!1d10+6=16, 1d10+6=16 so uh, 16.

Malakai wracks his brain thinking of how to deactivate the Psyker's shield
Scholar (occult): 1d100=10 (nice)

IC seems to really love Rogue Trader when it comes to my character

Brother Malakai looks around to see if there's anything that can be toppled onto the seated Psyker

did the force field seem to be tied into the ships power?

"What's powering the field?"

Init:1d10+4=7

Brother Malakai takes a moment to take in the situation...

Malakai charges the psyker. "Abomination, time to put you down."

WS [4]5 1d100=20

Tearing damage:1d10+6=7, 1d10+6=15

Wrath of the Righteous Damage.1d5=2

spent 1 fate point

Chainsword tearing ability is very powerful

draws his Chainsword

"May the Emperor protect us once more as we enter the breech"

Brother Malakai backs away through the door holding his chainsword out defensively...

"When this is said and done" says Malakai as he pulls out his chainsword and starts carving the turkey dinner. "We should space the parts!"

1d10+3=6

"Last Rites my arse!" Malakai mutters...

"Captain, we need to put them down again!"

Torch them!

I jump back and light them up as many as I can...1d100=20
1d10+4=9

apologies, was gone most of the weekend. Then when I got home I was playing some bloodbowl on the PC! The new game Rocks!!!

Brother Malakai pauses to give final rites to the fallen.

Brother Malakai, not wanting to waste precious Flamer Ammunition draws forth his chain sword and strikes down any of the opposition that comes near him...

1d100=35

Chainsword: tearing WS 45 (1d10+6=9, 1d10+6=16)

Ouch, 16 dmg.

Here...

"Very well Captain, May the Emperor have mercy on their souls..."

Brother Malakai moves to a point he can get as many of the shamblers in range without hitting any of his shipmates with his flamer.

1d100=42 +10 for Sarvus' pep talk.

DMG: 1d10=3+4=7 (PEN 2)

1d10+4=8

Used Lorrayne's I, have to look mine up...

"Yessir!"

Malakai takes up position in the rear, switching to his flamer...returning his chainsword to its hanger.

Before Dominik steps into the ship. Brother Malakai stops him...

"The Captain must enter first, it is his right and his Duty. Once onboard we can resume a tactical formation."

Did we bring the redshirts with us?

Brother Malakai performs the Rites of Docking

"After you Captain!"

Malakai states as he draws and primes his chainsword.

quietly "Emperor, bless those fallen on that ship, may they rest in peace."

He then begins checking his weaponry, and performs the appropriate rites.

"Of course Captain, I would be honored to lead us in the Rites of Good Fortune, of course our tech-priest has already completed the Rites of Departure, thus I need not perform that Rite."

"Oh Shining God-Emperor, as Captain Trask leads us into the breech,
may you guide our weapons and shield our bodies, as we wade into the unknown in your name...Amenus"

Malakai steps into the room

"Emperor's Blessing upon you Captain"

"It is good we have finally received this task, may we all prosper from this excursion."

there, that's a better avatar. I was in a hurry yesterday..also changed the avatar name to Brother Malakai instead, it sounded much better when Captain Trask said it

"I'm just in time for refreshments I see."

"I am here as well Captain."

"The Emperor shall guide our weapons against any heretics we meet."

"May the God-Emperor's light guide us in our explorations"
