You poor, deprived soul! If I were you, I'd be up in arms!
Gorbacz wrote: Unfortunately, none of that makes it over The Pond.... That's very sad. Oh well, more for me!
On the other hand, we get a good selection of European imports. Almost makes me think I should be doing a "nyah nyah nyah"....
Gorbacz wrote: ....as exciting as American beer. Hey, come on now! Not all American beer is boring. You've got a lot of interesting craftbrewers out there: Abita, Stoudt's, Anchor, Flying Fish, Harpoon, Magic Hat, Rogue, Ommegang, Saranc, Troegs, Victory, Shiner, Dogfish Head, Yards, Stone, Sierra Nevada, just to name a few.
Mmmmm......beer.
....beer
Mmmmmmmm........beer
Shadowborn wrote: Flavors? Pfft. Americans aren't looking for flavor, we want a really cheap, really cold pitcher of beer. And another. And another...and another. Basically, we just want to be drunk. Whoa now there young lad! Speak for yourself. As a homebrewer and general beer aficionado, I most certainly do not resemble that remark. Nor do many people I know. The fact is, that for the last 15 or so years, the number of craftbrewers in this country had been growing for a reason.
Mrgh.
And I'll vote for Aberzombie.

You should drink a nice beer.

Please keep rotting parts away from open brewing. The best part was, when my buddy at work gave it too me it had a fake label: A skull and the words "Another Year Closer to Death".

Mmmmm....beer.

I thought we got rid of all the zombies when we broke the Aztec curse.
I tend to show up when people insult beer.

BEER!!!
Bummer. If the bees go, no honey! No honey = no mead! ARRRGGHHH!!!
Mmmmm....honey.
Beer bump - just because any thread about beer deserves to be near the top.
Brewism: beer above all else, even punk ass little trolls.

How doth thou hangeth? I hangeth over :S You need biscuits and gravy with coffee. Not usually a fan, but that does actually sound really good right now... too bad I am already at work. In that case, I recommend drinking a beer.

As a representative of the Booze Coalition, I propose - BEER!
idilippy wrote: ..... as Shiner is one of the best American beers I've had(not saying much I know). While I agree that Shiner's got some great beers, the second part there doesn't make any sense at all. There are plenty of great American beers.

Hmmmmm, spam beer?

Orthos wrote: .....I posted that just after noon, waaaaaaay too early for the booze :P Eh? What's that? It seemed to be a sentence at first, but now it's just gibberish.
Mmmmmmm......cerveza.
Orthos wrote: Sothmektri wrote: Seriously, where is this large number of people who have not 'tried' alcohol? *raises hand* :) Oh, you poor man!
And, for the record, smoked beers (of which rauchbiers are the best known) do have a wonderful flavor - seriously, they're like liquid bacon. Usually done as a lager. A buddy of mine brewed a batch that was awesome, and a local brew pub has their own version that's really damn good.
Happy Birthday to me!
Laughing Lab, huh? I'll have to look for some of that.
brews up a batch of mead
goes shopping for some honey

How about we borrow the slogan from The Swashbuckler Brewing Company:
"Live free. Dine well. Drink good ale."
Ot we could go with the old Ben Franklin saying...
"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
passes around a few bottles of a delicious porter
