What emotion best describes your character?

Stoic, calm, focused, determined

What emotion does your character evoke in others? How do others react to you?

Brayden calms those around him, evoking the feeling that everything is going to be just fine despite how bad the situation seems. Even with enemies, he doesn't get overly excited.

What does your character need most? If your character had everything he or she needed, why go on an adventure?

Insight into his past life and a life enriched with journey and wonder. But mostly insight into his past life. He has flashes of his death and followings of Iomedae, but he isn't sure what any of it means. He's determined to find his long last family.

What is your character’s goal in life?

To be reuinted with at least one person from his family, and gain an understanding of what lead to his demise. Most of all, Brayden feels lonely and misunderstood.

How does your character believe this goal can be accomplished?

Through Shizuru's teachings, Brayden believes he will gain pieces of his mysterious past by serving his deity. The Pathfinder Society is both a conduit for journeying and something that Brayden identifies with - maintaining a purposeful and meaningful existence while aiding those in need.

Where did your character come from?

Tian-Xia, where he combined his mastery with eastern weapons with the blessings of Shizuru. Brayden spent his childhood focused on training and worship.

What values does your character hold?

Friendship and good: Brayden is agreeable and understanding. He wants to assist others in their own quests of knowledge while working on his own. He's willing to forgive an enemy or villain if he believes it was a misunderstanding.

Worship: Brayden is devoutly religious and dedicated to Shizuru's worship. He has little patience for anyone who knocks his god down a few pegs.

Adventure: Brayden seeks to color his past and future with adventures through Golarion. He thirsts for knowledge and meaning to his existence.

How does your character dress?

A simple, flat black tunic with armor draped over it. Flat walking shoes. No jewelry. Hair cut short and neatly parted to one side. No scars, but a tattoo of an elaborate sun on his shoulder.

What are your character’s means?

Powerful, very skilled with his katana. Not the best talker, but can manage to speak with enough social grace to win others over.

What are your character’s personal tastes?

Loves the smell of burning sweetgrass.
Enjoys a fine, elaborate meal, but has no time for gluttony, and would sooner starve than overindulge himself.
Dislikes those who are intolerant of other people's cultures

What are some of your character’s unexpected quirks

He can craft weapons, but he spends far too much time making sure they're pefect. Perfectionism quirik.

He occasionally speaks too loudly and this causes him to have both an impressive and annoying presence. Works well in battle, of course.
