Good morning. I've been up since 3 A.M. How is everyone?

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

flies overhead

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

Its my Friday night at work and I'm off to find a copy of Skyrim tomorrow morning. Wish me luck.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

I'm tired of my job.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

Huzzah! Huzzah!

There I doubled that.

Snug safely in his nest atop of the large red barn, BluePigeon muses the fact that he's a pigeon and not a turkey on this festive of all holidays

Happy Thanksgiving ya Hillbillies.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

I blame CJ for pumpkin pie and that good pie too.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

Just some words of wisdom before I shuffle off for the night shift:

"Better a pigeon than a turkey on this fine holiday tomorrow."

Happy Thanksgiving FAWTLy ones. Drive home safely.

So, debit card is shut down, and it's Sunday so the banks are closed. So that means I'm limited to the $4 in my wallet for the remainder of the weekend. I might be able to move some money around on my internet banking, but, in an unrelated incident, I have locked myself out of it, and that can't be fixed until at least Monday as well.

Also, I have no phone. My phone is broken such that no one that I speak to can hear what I say. I can hear them, but they can't hear me. I'm not up for a new phone until May. I'd buy a new one, but I have no access to my money.

I had something like that happen to me once, on a holiday weekend no less. After that incident, I was never without a hidden stash of cash (about $25 to $50) at home. I haven't regretted that decision since. I hope you do the same in the future.

Speaking of service animals, one can not forget Sgt. Stubby.

He was one bad pigeon!

During the First World War a homing pigeon named Cher Ami (Dear friend) saved the lives of 194 American soldiers by carrying a message across enemy lines in the heat of battle. Cher Ami was shot in the chest and leg, blinded in one eye, losing most of the leg to which the message was attached, but continued the 25 minute flight avoiding shrapnel and poison gas to get the message home. Cher Ami was awarded the French 'Croix de Guerre' with Palm for heroic service. Fitted with a wooden leg he later died from the wounds received in battle and is now enshrined in the Smithsonian Institution.

Finally, We pigeons get the respect and honor we deserve.

VIA LA FRANCE!

Then we will aim for the crotch.

Now I need to meander to other threads....

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

But not now. I don't want crumbs and grease all over my new book.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

I'm hungry. I should eat something.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

Bright, the glossy pages, so bright and shiny.

The hawks around here get a lot of attacks from the little birds. They team up like fighter planes on a big bomber. The hawk can't get over them so it suffers until it gets out of range or under cover. Of course the hawks also dive bomb the little birds mercilessly. I saw one take a small bird right in front of my bay window. It was ultra cool, even had the cartoony puff of feathers after.

We have a kestrel in our yard and he dines quite well. He managed to nail a turtledove this Tuesday.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

My only complaint about severed limbs is they're not re-attachable.

Never mind. Carry on.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

Time for my weekly drive to Alternate Reality Comics.

I gotta fly.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

I wish Las Vegas had four full season. This 80 degree weather in November is just too much. I still have the windows and doors open.

Meanders off to find a fan

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

I will buy it yes.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

Good morning and good afternoon everyone.

I've been awake for 2 and a half hour now and I've takin' my pill of metformin and had a large slice of pizza.

One glass of ice-tea and I'm ready for Fallout New Vegas.

I gonna shop the Paizo store today and rummage through my e-mail.

I'm happy I'm off from work.

TOZ, do you believe that some people on the thread boards should wear a straight-jacket and if so would you subscribe a frontal lobotomy for them.

Myself excluded.

Good Morning everyone. The three pooches have matted down their favorite locations on my bed. So I wish everyone a good Saturday. I worked the grave shift last night and my eyes wish only to see the dark.

Thank you everyone. Karen will be missed and hard to replace.

...And it's Veteran's Day. Say it with guns. :-D

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

More major suck-age this afternoon.

I just receive the news that a good friend, Karen O'Neil lost her battle to cancer this morning. She was a good friend and a licensed cosmetologist who cut my hair for the last 26 years. My mother will not take the news well.

She will be missed.

I need some positive waves.

(Pathfinder Adventure Path Charter Subscriber; Companion Subscriber)

With that said, I am off to work. Have a safe night everyone.

I missed out on a day's worth of posts. Hopefully, I didn't miss anything really important.

I'm 43 (as of September), and the latest round of news, and everything going on with my family, is really making me feel my age.

My grandmother has been put on Seroquel and placed into a nursing home. Supposedly, this is a "typical progression" for Alzheimer's.

I took the offer to work from home with my current employer. My wife and daughter are certainly thrilled about it (my son's reaction was not unexpected--"Will this affect whether I can get on the Internet?"). I made a couple of un-fun phone calls, but the guy who was going to be my boss again understood my situation, while being disappointed about me not working there.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Sorry to hear about your grandmother Taig. On the better side of life, my new PC is working like a charm and my father, if all goes well, will be released from the hospital after Thanksgiving. This year, however, its just mother and I for turkey day.

Going into my 40s as of this year and it makes me think about my own mortality.

I received a bottle of Citrus-flavored vodka as a gift this morning. If I wasn't to tired from last night's graveyard shift, I'd be punk drunk right now.

I guess I can hit a shot or two when I waked up this afternoon.
