Can you guys post a link to the whatever ticketing site we are supposed to use to buy event tickets through? On the GeekOut website it says "UNC Asheville Event Office" but I'm not able to pull up any info regarding the event.

There are probably 3 or 4 players that have characters in that range that might be interested in coming to MACE West.

Wow just noticed that you wrote the Refuge of Time scenario!! Congrats! Heck lets play that one even if I got to Pregen it!

I personally would like to play the Rise of the Runelords content. I think Burnt Offerings is tier 3-5 so most of our Fort Mill group will have characters for that level. The Eyes of the Ten series is probably too high for most of our players. In fact I don't think any of us have a level appropriate character (I could be mistaken).

Refuge of Time looks nice. I like the season 4 content but I think most of the Fort Mill group would struggle to find level appropriate characters but there might be a few.

Would the Fort Mill group be more excited about playing Eyes of the Ten Parts 1-4, Refuge of Time, or Rise of the Runelords - Burnt Offerings - Thistletop?

Wonders in the Weave boon:
Characters that receive credit for Wonders in the Weave Part I and II consecutively get a special boon!!!

It would be really nice of Paizo to start posting some examples of the rules in action in some monster versus PC type formats. I would love to see an Otyugh or Shambling Mound versus 3-4 PC melee characters to demonstrate how they expect this to resolve. Also a definition of "conduct the grapple normally" would be nice. My interpretation of that is that once a creature smacks you with an attack and establishes a hold it brings in the other appendages and tries to establish a hold losing any additional attacks (normal grapple) or are all the other appendages flailing around smacking at things and trying to grab things if they hit (-20 to checks).

It makes a lot of difference if the -20 comes into play if the creatures also have constrict. I submit a definition of "conduct the grapple normally" as choosing to give up additional attacks and focusing on maintaining a hold on the target hit with the initiating grab attack.

I find it unbalanced when I see GMs running these multiple attack grab + constrict creatures and they are smacking the PCs over and over again with an un penalized CMB that auto inflicts constrict damage. It doesn't seem to be what was intended. If a creature wants to flail around with these independent appendages grabbing and constricting they need to take the penalty for it.

Paizo needs to finish the work they began and get these grappling rules "pinned down". Pardon the pun.

I hope everyone had as much fun playing as I had GMing! Great turn out and just lots of fun all around. I even got my first GM star! Woot!

Looking forward to seeing you guys again at either Firefly or at the next ABG event day.

Lantern Lodge *

I plan on making it to some if not all the SCARAB events. I might have to make a sizable donation to the marriage fund, but I plan to be there even if I have to fake a kidnapping.

Lantern Lodge *

I got to play both the Diamond Gate and Rise of the Goblin Guid at Dragon Con and I'm looking forward to GMing them both at the ABG event.

I hope that I can make both scenarios as fun and interesting as the sessions at Dragon Con!

Next month, (september) I would love to come down and play. As long as there might be beginning level adventures. I am a new PFS player (never actually done any organized play). I can only make it to Fort Mill on the weekends though.

The scenarios usually get posted here in the forums and on the Pathfinder Society Fort Mill Facebook page. We normally run scenarios at both afternoon and evening sessions for lower levels and if we know you're coming we will make sure there is something that is appropriate level for you to play.

We are always anxious to have new players join us.

Another great game day Saturday at ABG! Thanks Del for Shades of Ice scenarios. Both sessions were a lot of fun. I still find myself morbidly wondering "what does bone bread taste like anyway …?"

Looking forward to our September session.

Wow! Great PFS session this weekend at Above Board Games! Glad to see so many people come out for the event. Thanks to Del for coming and running The Cyphermage Dilemma for us and thanks to Cat and Tigersage for running the other sessions. Hope to see everybody back at the next PFS event at ABG hopefully in August.

@TigerSage - Thanks for running the Feast of Ravenmoor module for us. Loved it! Really great combo of RP and combats.

I really liked breaking to grab a bite to eat right after the in-game feast. It really made for a great appetite suppressor.

"Wait, what's in the sausage ...?"
