Sorry I've been tied up. A close friend watched her house burn on national TV and others are evacuated or pending evacuation. WALDO CANYON FIRE: Blaze leaves barren landscape I'm proud of my friends in the gaming and military community who have opened their homes to tens of thousands of families and pets and livestock who have been forced to evacuate. My home and family are safe, but I've very busy. Thanks in advance for the good thoughts!!!
I was looking at some novels. I put them in the shopping cart when I realized I wasn't logged in. I logged in and the 2 novels appeared in my shopping cart, but all the other stuff I already had in there was gone. I tried logging out then logging in, but it didn't work. Is there a way to recover what was in my shopping cart? Thanks!
Two of our Serpent Skull characters are from an Andoran Orphanage of Cayden Cailean. My ranger rogue is a devout follower of Cayden Cailean and Diane's inquisitor serves Milani. They were raised in the same orphanage, but I can't find any details for temples and the like in Andoran. I presume Almus and Augustana would be large enough to have such an orphanage and a temple of Milani. Is there any cannon information on this? Thanks!
I'm popping in very briefly to plug my sister's effort in Mom's memory. Welcome to the Donation Page of
Thanks! Take care!
Congressman Wants Weiner Probe I know it's childish, but I could not resist. He might have been hacked, but the jokes write themselves. :)
Please read the whole article. I'm curious what people think about this. I would like to hear from vets with ground combat experience in particular. Panel to Recommend Allowing Women in Combat Thank you.
No spoilers please. Is Restov part of Brevoy or independent? PFwiki, "Restov is one of the two largest cities in the fertile region of Rostland in southern Brevoy. It is known as the Free City of Restov, but it is allied with Brevoy. " Is Restov just a city in Brevoy, or is it an independent city or something in between?
PFSRD wrote: Tongues: In times of stress or unease, you speak in tongues. Pick one of the following languages: Abyssal, Aklo, Aquan, Auran, Celestial, Ignan, Infernal, or Terran. Whenever you are in combat, you can only speak and understand the selected language. This does not interfere with spellcasting, but it does apply to spells that are language dependent. You gain the selected language as a bonus language. At 5th level, pick an additional language to speak in combat and add it to your list of known languages. At 10th level, you can understand any spoken language, as if under the effects of tongues, even during combat. At 15th level, you can speak and understand any language, but your speech is still restricted during combat. At 5th level does the language have to come from the list in the second sentence? The paragraph implies this, but it doesn't seem explicit. If so it seems like Sylvan and maybe some other languages should have been on the list too, and why is Aklo on the list? EDIT: Sorry if this has been addressed before, but I couldn't find it when I searched.
* No spoilers please * I'm playing a dwarven Ranger in King Maker and I'm going to dip into rogue and probably barbarian. We only have access to core and APG spells and I was thinking of going with a spell less ranger variant like the skirmisher. Are there other spell less ranger options to look at? I could see some of the ranger spells being pretty handy in King Maker, so I might just go with a regular casting ranger too, but I need to decide pretty soon. Thanks!
I have a Dwarven rog5/rang6. I'm doing decent on offence, AC and saves, although I could stand to improve defense in general. This DM can be pretty brutal. Would a 13 SR item be worthwhile given how easy it would be to overcome, or would I be better served spending that gold improving saves and AC or something else?
Can this ability be used covertly such as during a handshake? Would the subject know they had been "scanned"? Lore Keeper (Sp): You can touch a creature to learn about
I'm putting the finishing touches on a 10 level Cloistered Cleric (UA) for PFRPG. Cloistered Clerics are limited to light armor and no shields. I have his AC up to 23 with a chain shirt +3, +1 deflection, +1 luck, +1 natural armor, and +3 from dex. I can afford something else for AC with perhaps a +1 divine bonus or I can get a belt of +2 con. We need a knowledge skill heavy character so I can't switch to Dwarven tanking cleric, but this DM is known for very tough encounters, so I'm trying to make him as survivable as possible. Thanks in advance!
Nimbleness seems like a weak trade-off. Loosing a +1 enhancement bonus to get a +1 dex bonus just seems silly. NIMBLENESS (MIC)
Are there some better options? I'm looking at a mithral chain shirt in this case.
I'm trying to make the healing domain more accessible in Forgotten Realms, but I'm struggling with mechanical balance. How does this look? Initiate of Nature Type: Initiate
You have been initiated into the greatest healing secrets of your church. Prerequisite: Cleric or druid level 5th, Heal 4 ranks, Knowledge Religion 4 ranks, reasonable patron deity. Benefit: You get the Healing domain as an additional domain.
So I'm curious has anyone else been completely disgusted by the ineptitude of Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citigroup, Chase, or HSBC? I had problems with all of them, and ironically Citi (and maybe Wells Fargo) is the only one I started a business relationship with. In in the case of the others I had accounts with smaller outfits that got eaten up by the Chase, BoA etc. I have been uniformly pleased with my small local banks in sharp contrast. I'm curious what other peoples experience has been.
The Forester regional feat grants a +1 to perception and stealth that goes up to +3 in forest terrain in PRPG terms. This seems a bit suboptimal now when compared to other regional FR feats. I was thinking of adding survival and knowledge: nature to the feat now. Has anyone else addressed this in their game?
Tanarukk also are in the odd position of having 8 skill points per hit die, but only the skills perception, stealth, and intimidate to choose from. Shouldn't they have at least as many skill choices as skill points? I plan on adding survival and climb to their choices, but I'm not certain what else or how many class skills they should have. These guys are going to be reoccurring villains in the game with PC class levels so I don't want to just hand wave this.
I'm curious what game experience folks have with sword and board builds. I'm also curious what can be done to close the damage gap (a bit) with the great sword (2HW in general) builds at mid levels excluding animated shields. I accept the shield/damage trade off. I'm just curious about ways to make sword and board builds more attractive relative to 2HW builds. I'm thinking mainly fighter builds, but it's not exclusive. |
