Training at a War College gains a fighter these additional class skills (Diplomacy, Gather Info, K(geography), K(nobility), and Sense Motive). His skill points become 4 + Int bonus per level. This replaces his fighter bonus feat at first level.

Second son to a wealthy merchant and the minor noblewoman he married, Belanos followed his father's wishes and joined the King's Army. Training in the nation's military school (along with some generous donations) secured him a position as an elite messenger- a King's Voice.
His latest assignment hasn't gone well. When he arrived at the Baron's keep to demand the truth about recent rumors, he was set upon and taken prisoner. The Baron has had him imprisoned until after the ritual, figuring, once the powers are his, that controlling the Voice would be no problem. Belanos found himself locked up and ignored, but soon feared for his life as the mist rolled in. The next thing he knows, he's attacked in the dark, paralyzed, and left tightly bound and blindfolded, but aware. When the paralysis wore off, he struggled but, unable to free himself, eventually slept, expecting never to awake.
