ZomB. Ammunition would be non-caster. Or some consumable one off items that have limited uses and are then gone. On an earlier post, I really agree with some player write-ups for the mission background. During large cons, GMs are at such a disadvantage trying to shout over other folks. Most players finally give up and then just wait for the scenario to just start. And the last is a special boon for anyone that survive's when Kyle GMs. I'm really looking forward to meeting Kyle at Paizocon. I need to put a face with the legend :)
I waited until my 40s to tie the knot. We're working on 2 years, and she definitely loves me, because we'll be at in July celebrating those two years! I've convinced her she's going to have fun playing. As for unique items, I do think the wands and scrolls of higher level (those are non purchaseable). Throwing in some intelligent items again might catch on, really depends on the item. I really liked the boon at the end of quest for perfection. Tying all those scenarios together for the reward was genius.
My advice, which I'm echoing, is to put unique items on the chronicle sheets or items still unavailable for PCs of that tier. They really need to mean something, and they don't when a PC can just go purchase items listed on the chronicle sheet. More interwoven faction missions would be great into the story lines.
Just a shout out to doing an awesome job. The decision to uproot the entire family and move must have been difficult process. I will say being happy and passionate at work, carries over into family life. It's amazing coming home at night happy and thankful. Your changes and direction are building this community.
I think in the end it all comes down to the GM in the end, because each situation is different. Sometimes a handle animal check is needed, sometimes not. As for exploiting loopholes, who really can define what a loop hole really is if the rules are written in certain ways. In the end, as a GM, I want players to love and enjoy the game as much as I do. I'll always try and give the players the benefit of the doubt and not assume they are power building. As a PFS and Pathfinder community, I want new and old players to always feel welcome in any game, on these boards, etc. I've met many friends on these boards, through local games, and conventions. And feel lucky to be part of the game.
I'd support the pre-meeting. I think it gives the access needed for folks to meet Paizo staff, VCs, and those legendary names on the boards. Some more frightening than others :) Also, I'd think this would give the VCs a chance to hand out where PFS events are being held regularly for those not on the boards or those unaware of PFS Society attending Gencon for the first time. Lastly, I love free Beer.
I'm totally in support of this idea. There are so many people in this economy that could use help. This charity is a great thing for kids. I like the idea of a raffle, but not limiting the purchase chances. It allows more money to be able to be collected for the charity. All people have a chance to win. My thoughts.
