Necroing this because I am wondering the same thing. Would adding levels to a fiendish servant in order to keep the same one while increasing in level (using the rules for monster advancement) be allowed?

As I said, it stand to reason. I was only in doubt because the feat mentioned “key classes”.its probably because of the websites, but i don't see the "key classes" thing anywhere in the text for the Leadership feat on either d20srd or AoN
