(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Baas will jump down to grab Sykala and pull her out of the water before it's too late. "No, what are you doing?!"

Invisible Castle was down when I tried to roll, so I used my own d20. Rolled a 7, add 9 for CMB for a total of 16. Hopefully enough!

After grabbing Sykala, Baas attempts to set her back on land, and put himself between the creature and her.

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Round 3:

Seeing the disgusting mass, Baas throws much of his weight into his swing.

Attack (1d20 10=16)
Damage (2d6 8=19)

Round 4:

If the floating creature is still around, Baas will continue to swing away.

Attack & Damage (1d20 10=15, 2d6 8=19)

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Will Save (1d20 3=23)

Baas fights off the urge to step into the water and looks closer to see what just attempted to trick him, holding his earthbreaker aloft.

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Baas will wait until the creature is nearby, entering a rage and striking as accurately as possible, hopefully with the help of his allies' Aid Anothers! Here is the attack roll without the Aid Another modifiers:

Raging Attack (1d20 10=28)
Damage (2d6 8=15)

Good rolls! Here's hoping the Aid Anothers work!

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

ROUND 1 Attack

Attack: (1d20 8=12)

Another great roll.

Seeing how quickly this creature flits around the area, Baas takes a moment to rethink his strategy. He looks at his companions, and yells out "Everyone, strike at once!" He holds his earth breaker patiently, letting his rage well up inside him, waiting for the right moment to strike.

Baas will delay. I think we're going to need some Aid Another attacks! We can get cumulative +2s on Baas' attack. I've got +10 once I rage, + any addition +2s that you guys can help me out with! We'll get this thing, it'll just take a while. :)

You're right. Baas should get a regular attack as well. I was in a rush yesterday and didn't notice. ... Funny, I just saw him in real life. What do you think the chances are he has a d20 in his pocket? I could run and catch him.

If only I'd had Craig's giant d20, it seemed to work so well for me...

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Huh. Turns out Baas has a bunch of ranks in Knowledge (nature). Neat.

Knowledge (nature) (1d20 9=13)

Baas swings his heavy club at the seemingly innocent bulb of light as it approaches Sykala, but is caught off-guard by its luminescence.

Attack: (1d20 8=10)

Woo, great rolls! I guess it's fair considering the great rolls I had this morning, right Tarren?

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Baas will move over in front of Sykala and ready his earth breaker to deal with any incoming trouble.

"Guys hurry up and get up here you have to see this. The gods just pissed on Esteban. He's soaking wet with god pee!" Fippin yells.
Esteban turns angrily on Fippin and then starts to laugh. He laughs long and hard and continues to laugh as he climbs up to the pilothouse.

Guys, I think we broke Esteban.

Ha!

If I get an AoO on the crocodile, I'll take it, otherwise, I'll let it escape.

Seeing the crocodile slipping away, Baas immediately moves towards the crocodile harassing Sykala, attempting to crush its spine with his enormous club.

Same attack! It's been working pretty well, I figure.

Attack! (1d20 10=16, 2d6 14=17)

Not so good, but maybe enough to give the creature second thoughts.

Faruq is shouting "NO! Not the hammer!! You ... get out of the water ... piranhas, you know."

Baas turns to Sykala, gesturing to the boat. "After you."

He will wait until Sykala leaves the water to climb up to the boat.

A smile at his lips as he hears the creature's neck snap, Baas ignores the pain of their bites. Although getting tired from his extreme exertions, he hopes one more strike will finish the creature harassing him. He continually looks towards the crocodile attacking Sykala. He looks as though he is anxious to help her with her attacker. It does not slow down the power of his blow, however.

Same strike as last time.

Attack and Damage on Crocodile: (1d20 10=18, 2d6 14=20)

Decent. Hopefully that's the last of them. I'll be needing some of Fippin's specialty after this fight.

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Baas gets even angrier, but manages to restrain himself a bit this time around. His swing is less wild, but still looks to have quite a bit of force behind it.

Raging overhand chop using powerful blow rage power. No power attack this time. Much better!

Attack and Damage: (1d20 10=25, 2d6 14=23)

Oh, and don't worry about Baas keeling over, he's got a long ways to go yet. Also, this is by no means an attempt to challenge the DM. ;)

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Not quite pulled under yet, Baas unties the earthbreaker from his back and with a significantly loud yell in the Shoanti tongue, swings it with all his might at the creature attempting to pull him under. His eyes go a deeper shade of red than is usual.

Entering a rage, Baas will hit it with everything he has: raging, power attack, overhand chop using powerful blow. I must say, it's nice to have so many bonuses to append to an attack. So that's +6 to attack, and 2d6+23 damage.

Here's hoping the rolls go the right way!

Attack & Damage Rolls: (1d20 6=12, 2d6 23=31)

Well thanks a lot, Invisible Castle... ;)

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

With a look of disgust on his face, Baas rolls up his pants, getting ready to wade into the swamp.

"Let's get this over with. You had best pay extra for this kind of drudgery."

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Seeing Sykala smiling at Fippin seems to trigger old memories in Baas. His expression becomes one of frustration, and he quickly moves into the cabin, laying down on one of the beds.

He keeps an ear out, however, as he is still wary of Esteban.

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

With a slightly impatient look, Baas quietly watches the ceremony from about ten feet away.

For Tarren:

Spoiler:
Yes, I am up for that. I will make a 3rd level Rogue to your given parameters. I'll hopefully have it done quick enough to get started soon. I'll get the stats plus character concept to you ASAP, but which thread do you want me to post it in?

Thanks!

"Well, let's get started. Baas & Ixius, I'm going to ask that you keep an eye on him and Faruq."

"Fine." says Baas, as he moves over to the pilothouse stairs next to Ixius. He makes sure to keep an eye on the questioning, however.

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

I also need healing. Screw the elves! ;)

(Male Human Barbarian 5)

Listening to Sykala's instructions, Baas begins knocking down the box with his earth breaker while trying to avoid hitting the unconscious elves.

After Fippin makes his speech and Ixius and Sykala pipe up, Baas stands tall, noticeable for the first time since the incident with Esteban. He speaks calmly, but with a tension in his voice.

"Although I will not allow a man who pointed a blade at me threateningly to go unpunished for long, I wonder how we shall fare with a mutiny on our hands. Will Hurg listen to us once we have finished with Esteban? Or Faruq, even? There is no love lost between Esteban and I, and I will make sure he gets what he deserves in the end, but we must be certain of our decision before we make it. If you want to tie him up, kill him, I will go along with it. The faster we get going again, the faster we can get to Nightfall and get out of this stinking miasma."

He turns to Sykala: "What do you think we should do with Esteban?"

Afterwards, he looks at Fippin with an arched brow, pointing out his many scrapes, gouges and cuts currently covering his body.
