Any hints at what the next batch may contain?
I would like to see a few old sets rewritten;
Races of .....
Complete ..... (Except the psionics)
The Environment set (frost burn, sandstorm, storm wrack etc)
Specific Monster type (Dracomicon, Libris Mortis, Lords of Madness etc)
Book of .. (Exalted Deeds and Vile Darkness)
solo books I'd like rewritten;
Deities & Demigods (Insight into their dogma and how they organise their faithful)
Book of Challenges
Stronghold builders Guide
Arms and Equipment
and maybe a compendium every few years (because new content is always added)
I wonder when the next batch will be released?
I'll be withdrawing Bridgette
if you like the alias' data format I don't mind people copying it
as its organised and contains RP notes
so Ryuko who are you taking as players from the recruitment?
Creighton Broadhurst wrote: Azure_Zero wrote: Below is a good starting point.
Raging Swan
Rite Publishing
Super Genius Games
are well known and do give some good content.
Looking in here for more Thanks very much for the vote of confidence! I much appreciate it! The Aasimar and Dhampir: options were well done, and some of the GM resource look really sweet too
Glad you like Bridgette,
I'll add the charming trait.
Or they could replace the standard bard with one of it's archetypes
like the Archaeologist archetype.
Ryuko wrote: Korgun Doomspray wrote: Just wondering if Korgun can get a response too Ryuko Looks good to me.
Can all of the new players head over to the Discussion Thread so I can get a headcount/rolecall and to answer a question. I'm assuming all of those that applied at to post
I'm submitting Bridgette Etna Asta Valerius
I'm currently whipping up a Monk(Martial artist)
I believe the group is around 600 XP,
so your all half-way there
I'll withdrawing my application from here.
@ GM
I sent you a PM

Perhaps simply scaling back the treasure, especially the random stuff? We tend to run pretty low-magic campaigns as it is...
Believe me for every 5 points in the point buy you increase over the standard 15 adds quite a punch especially with more than 4 players,
as the equation of party power increases a lot.
standard 15 point party of four power = 60,
25 point party of five = 125.
125/60 =~= 2,
2^2 = 4 times the power over a standard group.

Qstor wrote: I'm not a computer/tech person but isn't there an enormous amount of coding involved? Do you (Goblinworks) even have 5% of it done?
Mike
it'll follow the 80/20 rule most likely
the first 80% for coding will be done in first 20% of the time
the last 20% for coding will be done in the last 80& of the time.
most were around 35 point buy,
those at 50 or more all had re-rolls
Point-buy levels of players
Lyster Valdis: 15, 13, 10, 15, 15, 16 = 34 point buy
Salvator: 15, 17, 17, 13, 13, 8 = 35 point buy
Gizsmith Glitterbyte: 15, 17, 12, 18, 11, 18 = 57 point buy
Aedon Tellefleur = 14,11,16,15,12,15 = 32 point buy
Kari the Feytouched = 18,12,16,12,17,18 = 61 point buy
AZ(original) = 16,13,11,17,13,14 = 35 point-buy
AZ(mod) = 18,17,16,14,13,12 = 50 point buy
NapalmBackflip = 11,17,11,16,13,13 = 31 point-buy
replacement rolls for 11 and a 13
1d3 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
1d10 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
I think I'm near a 35 point buy,
I hope the the encounters get balanced abit
as APs follow the standard 15-point buy
Or the GM puts a limit in how high you can go in point-buy terms.
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 4, 5) = 21 16
4d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 6, 3) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 5) = 12 11
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 5, 6) = 19 17
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 2, 6) = 15 13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 5, 4) = 17 14
On second thought I'll use Valeria
I'll transplant background data from Bridgette, and change a trait.
I'll edit the Wealth to average.
that light is also a beacon for them to know where we are and what route we're going.
A touch in a dungeon full of creatures with darkvision,
does that not look like a sign to them saying
"Adventurers coming,
Prepare your Dinner plates"
I'll try to avoid pure human as I think this AP will have some night or dark dungeon encounters and humans don't have low-light or Darkvision to handle that.
I do like that bonus feat and skilled,
but I like not being blind in the dark.
I could re-write the family lines a bit and have her inherit the aasimar genes that were dormant in her mother and father.
go ahead.
CrazyHedgehog wrote: Azure_Zero wrote: Would you allow the use of Raging Swan's Aasimar Heirs of Glory or Blood of Fiends
Got a few ideas,
I'm just thinning them out. Don't have either of those supplements, but could be a possibility. Go ahead and pitch an idea. :) For race I'll either take Half-elf, Aasimar(Angel), or Tiefling (Demon, Oni, or Rakshasa)
Classes wise I am debating on;
Barbarian(Urban+Brutal Pugilist) + Monk(Martial Artist)
Fighter(Brawler) + Monk(Martial Artist)
Barbarian(Urban+Brutal Pugilist) + Fighter(Brawler)
Fighter(Two-Weapon)
Fighter(Two-Handed)
Fighter(Polearm)
Fighter(Phalanx)
As you see I'm still nearing it down.
So I take it that you did not find any plot hook with her?
Bridgette
I'll then change the race to either half-elf or tiefling(Pitborn)
I'm coming up with some plot hooks,
DM check If you find any in the current profile below.
Bridgette
Java is not a bad idea, but if you wanted it up and running faster I would recommend C# to build it.
A web app would be very mobile, but would require work on the interface and resource management, A desktop program has more flexibility and could allow user created maps to be imported faster.
A client-server system is easy to setup in C#,
DM runs server program and players connect with client programs.

That last person that tried to steal my thoughts I had skinned alive and salted down, are you trying to steal my thoughts? No, I would not steal your thoughts.
I just find everyone is in synchronous thoughts on this topic

But Dreamweaver is not just for changeling witches, right?
An Elf Witch with the Dreamspeaker racial subsitution trait could work wonders with this archetype! Slumber EVERYWHERE.
And arcane spellcaster access to modify memory too! Brilliant!
I WANT.
Is this the final copy of this archetype? Is there any chance it'll be changed when the book comes out?
sorry, looks like Dreamweaver is changeling only
ARG Blog wrote: It’s not surprising that many changelings gravitate toward the witch class since that class’s powers complement both the abilities and the theme of the race.
In this week’s preview, we will take a look at the first race presented in Chapter 3 of the Advanced Race Guide by sharing the archetype presented in the section: the Dreamweaver, a witch empowered by dreams and nightmares.

Very Nice,
though I was hoping for feats or optional racial traits.
and about 2 week more of waiting
