Despite the fact there is already another summoner, I'd like to submit Ray Remiar, who is just looking for a place to hide and rest. His intro-chapter from a story I tried writing is in his profile, and serves as his background for games.

He's just a plain Summoner with a wolf-like Eidolon. He's Neutral Good right now, but could slip over to Neutral and eventually Evil depending on how the game goes.

Do you know what happens to the people that tease me? DO YOU? ಠ_ಠ

That's right, they get that creepy little face looking at them.

Shouldn't that be can of bats?

We can all agree he had Martial Artist and Alchemist levels though, right?

Wouldn't this encourage cherry-picking abilities though?

AM BARBARIAN, lord of mounted combat, sandwiches, and keeping those evil casties at bay.

Domains: Air, War, Protection, Glory, Liberation, Strength, and Travel

Favored Weapon: Lance

Reminds me of the Dungeon Master form the old D&D cartoon.

Introduce the character long before she has any plans against the PC's, like at a party or ball where she can be an innocent girl instead of a scheming villain.

Her first bit of manipulation is going all teary-eyed to the PC's and asking them to help with something. An abusive relative or a person threatening her so she'll carry illegal goods back and forth between buyers and sellers. She's planted evidence in case they investigate.

Offensive Tool is a metamagic feat that makes spells that require willing targets work on non-willing ones.

Druid: "I can like an earth elemental in less than six seconds: ready to rock and roll."

Gnome with a High Bluff: "You know that banned book, the Gnomish Kama Sutra? I'm the author."

Paladin: "Can I Lay Hands on you?"

The Web Spell: When pick-up lines don't work.

The Web Spell: When pick-up lines do work.

The cavalier rules are really weird that way. I had a nice post back in the playtest era about it, let me see if I can find it...

EDIT: Turns out it was a tread.

Tyrannosaurus. Scroll just a bit and you'll see the T-rex as Companions table you use when making the mount's stat block.

Deinonychus will have more attacks and Pounce, and a Wolf will get free Trip attempts everytime it's bite hits.

So we just now managed to escape the Spiderweb Pits through a portal, having faced off against the Avatar of Lolth, and we are informed by our Oracle and Wizard that the portal was shut from our side and they didn't do it.

My character's sister immediately says: "Someone cast open/close?"

Except you have to figure out how she not only got a spellbook, but also learned to fire spells through her gun.

It certainly fits the background. Have you considered Stormborn instead?

Well, since there are so many wonderful ideas already posted, here is the nearly-obligatory snarky one.

Cast Haste! :)

If it's invisible, how do you know it's shaped like a hyena?

He mixed up a line too. "Just take a look" goes before "it's in a book."

At least going Commando still let's you wear armor! XD

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

I really like the Versatile ranger and the Wrangler. Nice job yet again!

Serpentine Synthesist Summoner

Quadraped Synthesist Summoner

Yeah, that "translucent" bit looks really silly, doesn't it?[/sarcasm]

I think it was the Spellwarp Sniper, or something like that. It was in 3.5 Complete Mage(or either Scoundrel or Adventurer).

Well, sounds like it's time for the traditional "BBEG gloating over the captured Heroes" speech! ;)

You know Pathfinder has Ice Elementals in Bestiary 2, right? Why use a template?

The Travel Domain's Dimensional Hop 8th level power.

The Noble Wild book/pdf can be found here on Paizo. It has the racial statistics for an intelligent mouse. Considering the size you're wanting though, the rat might be a better choice.

The book also has a mechanic similar to feat trees that let's weak Strength characters, like a mouse, to ignore their negative Str modifier to damage.

The screenplay is by Miyazaki and animated by his studio, no more need be said.

These are reasons enough for me to see it. My first Miyazaki film was My Neighbor Totoro, and I've been a fan ever since.

You know, I really like this idea. Players may never look at Commoners the same way again... Bwahaha!

They both stack with Internal Alchemist too. All three makes a cool doctor indeed.

If you can use Psionics Unleashed, you can take Blade Skills alter your soul knife into a finesse weapon with reach that threatens.

Give either of them minions and this can be a cool fight(bonus points for a Winter Witch and Ice elementals). Solo bosses will be killed quickly because the players get more actions.

Huh, didn't think to look around here on Paizo. I'll check it out.

I would still like to see how SmiloDan does it though.

The song "Be Our Guest" just popped into my head. Thank you for that, Cheapy and Alec.

See, I just don't know if that would have the same feel. A user of Puppet Mastery even used a human as her puppet once(with consent) in a fight to great effect.

I still want to see a Puppet Master Class! I would to be able to have a BBEG who was literally "pulling the strings!" :D

You still have to hit him; and if he's wearing adamantine plate, it's going to take a long time, all the while he's pummeling you easily with his worst iterative attacks because you're a barbarian and your AC sucks.

Actually, he just has to beat his CMD, and with Strength Surge and Rage, that is pretty easy. Add in the Smasher Rage Power to ignore the Hardness of the Adamantine plate.

Anything + Bard = Amazing

Inquisitors can team up with any front-liner and flank things to death quickly.

In order to teleport, you need to have been to the place. I may be wrong of course, since I've never resorted to Scry & Fry myself.

And all it takes is a Furious weapon and Improved Sunder to start taking apart that S&B Fighter's armor class. Yay for Sundering!

I believe in the case provided above, the rogue is thought to have the drop on the wizard and possible gets multiple Sneak Attacks. That might be enough of an edge to beat the Wizard, it might not.

Now, a Monk might have a better chance, and an Inquisitor with the Rage Subdomain could be a real caster-killer.

An incorporeal creature moves silently and cannot be heard with Perception checks if it doesn't wish to be. It has no Strength score, so its Dexterity modifier applies to its melee attacks, ranged attacks, and CMB.
No Str... so Dex is all that matters for combat values.

Ah, I didn't know that. Haven't had to make a ghost before! :)

Azten wrote:
Now, apply it to something with a Constitution score and natural armor, and you'll see why this Template lowers CR.

Oh, I'm pretty aware of that :)

Then this is just a post to tell everyone that, in the case of Incorporeal creatures without a Str score, this template is stronger?

Does the Ghost in question have Weapon Finesses? If no, then it's attack bonus dropped by 2(-2 Str), which means it is at a -1 to it's normal attacks.

Now, apply it to something with a Constitution score and natural armor, and you'll see why this Template lowers CR.

Robespierre wrote:
Why would you play a mechanically weaker character when you could play a character that's more competent. You know that it's also not fun to die just because your character started out bad right of the gate correct?

Because people have different play styles, like certain races and classes, and the name of the game isn't optimization?

Robespierre wrote:
Why are you playing a chaotic race that could be called a quarterling when you could be playing a summoner with much more flavor and capability?

First, what makes halflings a "chaotic" race?

Second, what does a Quarterling have to do with this?

*raises hand*

I used to say "eject" before unbuckling my seat belt because they did. :)

Disney made "Something wicked this way comes"? Whoa.

Yep. Follow THIS link to the Celestial and Fiendish Templates.

Add the Fiendish Template and they become Outsiders. It's not hard to imagine Undead in the Abyss or Hell.

Ultimate Magic had an Arcane Discovery that let you have an Outsider as a sort of ally.

I made a pixie fairy with mASSIVE physiologic and physical flaws.. I had
like 119 building Points (average character has 20 or 30).. after
rolling up the character and stuff.. I went thru training ( I was a
thief)..3 years... I was incarcerated(prison) for 5 years.. and the max life expectancy for a pixie fairy is 8 years . I got out of prision on
7th year.. Dmed rolled my max Life of 7 years.... so I died when I got out of prision.. During Character Creation..

You win the thread.

Just thought to ask, but do you have Spell Focus(Conjuration)?
