About Asmodia CrispinAsmodia Crispin
Background:
Asmodia Crispin, aptly named, were born into a well to do Chelaxian merchant in Galt, by all appearances stern Diabolists and supporters of Abrogail and House Thrune’s crown. Being reared in the chaos of the Galt’s eternal civil strife exposed Asmodia to all manner of dissident, independent thinking, and when she began to develop a propensity to speak her mind about the concepts of freedom and advocate acting out against the establishment, her wise father sent Asmodia, her younger brothers and sisters and their weary mother back to Cheliax so that they could each receive a proper education. Asmodia, however, would have none of devil worship at the temple of Asmodeus. She stole away and learned among like-minded individuals who lent a cot and some manner of lecture about freedom and goodness, and opposing Abrogail’s tyranny and those of the devils, if in tones more hushed than draws upon their pipes and more than not oft silenced by the arrival of strong liquor. Personality:
Though Asmodia detests law, contracts, and by its very definitions slavery and diabolism, she has no desire to change her given name. She, a priestess of Cayden Cailean, believes it is her freedom to adopt such a horrid title as a constant reminder of whom and what she stands against. Asmodia has a bright and even temper, and is more than willing to assist any in need of her particular talents, such as they are. She is quick, both fleet of foot and of wit, and her charms are not unknown to those who care to engage her. It should be noted, also, that as a follower of Cayden, Asmodia has an exceedingly liberal interpretation of “the good life.” Her create water spell, as per the Gods and Magic book, is more often used to fill her tankard with stout or honey mead, depending on her particular preference at the moment. She also smokes, and has a tendency to be a bit of a potty mouth, especially when in her cups. She is not exceedingly courteous, and enjoys a good laugh when the moment calls for it, even if it is at her own expense. She is, however, loyal to those that she does care for, and should any require her aide or advice, sober and obliging. Asmodia prefers to meditate to receive her spells in the evening, as she is not likely to rise early enough in the morn to see the dawn.
Appearance:
Asmodia displays a number of attributes that suggest that somewhere in the history of master/slave relations, some ancestor had a bit of a taste for the exotic. Her skin is not quite so pale as her contemporaries, her hair a shock of auburn curls with burnt copper highlights. Though not particularly gifted physically, she has a robust appearance that is not at all unpleasant to look upon. Her eyes are a clear blue.
