I want to renew my camapaign setting subscription, but I notice that with two products shipping this month (Inner Sea Gods and Inner Sea Combat) I can only choose to start with one of those this month (Inner Sea Combat) or with the one coming out next month (Occult Mysteries). I want all three products and the free PDFs that come with the subscription plan for all three. If I renew my subscription in my shopping cart today and choose to start with Inner Sea Combat will I get Inner Sea Combat and Inner Sea Gods or do I have to purchase Inner Sea Gods (book and PDF) separately from my subscription?

I need to cancel my module subscription due to my current economic and budgetary concerns. Can someone help me do this?

I recently suspended my RPG subscription temporarily because I was going to spend more in December than I could afford if I did not. Since the Bestiary 3 was easily about half of my problem there, that is what I suspended. However, now that I am starting to take eye towards resuming the subscription I am left wondering about something if it is resumed before the next RPG item in that subscription comes out. If I resume it here in December, or even January or February, will I get the PDF and physical copy of Bestiary 3 or has (since I still want it - just not at the time it came out) or has that ship sailed already?

Part of the reason I ask is because I can afford to buy the PDF today, but don't want to if I will get it courtesy of my subscription along with a physical copy of the book when I resume the RPG subscription at the end of the month.

I am still a relative newcomer to Pathfinder Society (PFS) play as I haven't been able to play very much since joining earlier this year. I have only played 5 times so far, but I intend to pick that up quite a bit soon. I have been playing only 1 character for PFS so far (a Half-Elf Magus) and now that he is well into 2nd level I want to add to and diversify the characters I can bring to the table just like all the other players at the PFS games I play in. Since my magus will be leaving the lower level tiers soon, I know I should have at least one character at 1st level ready to go in case I can only get into a lower tier game (I've seen that happen sometimes to other players). I am told I can have as many PFS characters as I want, but I have only made a few to satisfy my potential urges for roleplaying certain types of characters. I am an experienced player, GM, and designer; however, I am not really an optimizer and I feel it is always a good thing to get a fresh perspective on things. Also, I have either never played these classes or have limited experience with them.

Anyway, that is just my longwinded way of asking folks to critique my builds for the new characters I created for PFS play. The builds are an Inquisitor, an Alchemist, a Ninja, and a multiclass Barbarian/Samurai.

First up is Zirul the Zealot, Iroran Inevitable Inquisitor. He is a Half-Elf with the Ancestral Arms racial trait giving him proficiency with the meteor hammer. He is a member of the Lantern Lodge faction. He is half Tian and is highly curious about his heritage as his mother was a forlorn elf and his father was very stoic and for reasons unknown to Zirul refused to discuss where he came from other than to name the place (Quain) and teach him how to use a meteor hammer; the specialty of his father's martial art. His father was a martial artist from a defeated clan with many enemies. He came to the Inner Sea hounded by enemies the whole way until they finally lost his trail at Absalom. He then met Zirul's mother in his travels as a merchant guardsman. Zirul joined the pathfinder society in an effort to learn about the elven and Tian past that his parents would not or could not discuss with him, while remaining faithful to the faith of Irori that his father raised him in. He wants to better himself by learning more about his heritage.

His traits are Armor Expert and Body of Wisdom (focusing on Acrobatics). If I am not misinterpreting the rules of PFS and the Core Rulebook, as an inquisitor or Irori he gets the Improved Unarmed Strike feat at no additional cost.

Alignment: LN
Deity: Irori
Domain: Law (Inevitable Subdomain)
STR 16, DEX 14, CON 12, INT 10, WIS 16, CHA 8

Teamwork Feats to focus on primarily
3rd Level: Precise Strike
6th Level: Coordinated Maneuvers or Pack Attack
9th Level: Outflank
12th Level: Coordinated Maneuvers or Pack Attack

Feat Selection
1st Level: Combat Reflexes
3rd Level: Snake Style
5th Level: Antagonize
7th Level: Power Attack
9th Level: Two-Weapon Fighting
11th Level: Weapon Focus (meteor hammer)

Ability Score Increase
4th Level: DEX
8th Level: DEX
12th Level: STR

The idea with this character's tactics is to take advantage of the synergy made by using combat reflexes, a high DEX, the meteor hammer (a reach weapon with a +1 to AC that can shorten its reach as a free action to become a double weapon), and using Antagonize and Command (from the Inevitable Subdomain with the level-adjustable DC) all together to make the enemy come to him and his reach weapon with judgments and bane. The defensive tactics emphasize gaining a bonus to using Sense Motive checks for AC thanks to Snake Style with a bonus from Stern Gaze. The high DEX and WIS combined with Cunning Initiative means he will go early more often and be flatfooted less often.

I know the Inquisitor class grants proficiency in their deity's favored weapon, but if that deity is Irori does that mean they gain the Improved Unarmed Strike feat? I know that this is the case for Clerics and even found it mentioned on page 5 of the "Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play", but I since I can't find this in writing for the Inquisitor I thought I should ask for clarification. I am asking regarding a Pathfinder Society Inquisitor character concept.

Well, I went ahead and did the research for reasons of my own and figured I could share with the rest of the class. Below is a list of all the possible combinations of archetypes that are possible with the various archetypes for the monk class. I have written them in alphabetical order to make finding a particular combination easier.

Also, please note that, as of this posting, the sensei archetype is in need of errata. The sensei archetype states that it's Mystic Wisdom ability replaces the monk's 6th, 12th, and 18th level bonus feats; however, the monk does not have a 12th level feat, though he does have 10th and 14th level feats. For the purposes of this list, I considered the 10th and 14th level bonus feats replaced and no ability from 12th level being replaced. This may result in this list being in need of editing when an errata comes down regarding the sensei archetype.

Since moving here over a year ago, I haven't been able to find any groups to play with, though I have been rather busy. I am looking to change that now. I have never been a member of any sort of organized play experience and I have no idea how to go about doing this. So, I was wondering where I can find the information and resources I need to know about and am looking to find the local chapter where I live and work in the greater Phoenix area. In particular, it would be best if I could stay on the east side as I live on the far east side of Phoenix in the Gilbert area. Are there any PFS chapters in the Gilbert/Chandler/Tempe/Mesa area looking for a new member? If not, I will just have to miss out on PFS as I can't afford the gas to go much further out than that.

Also, I have read a little about each faction, but don't really care for any of them. I know there are supposed to be new factions coming in the future, but can anyone make a good case as to why I should look to join any particular faction already available. I am skeptical of all of them, though if I absolutely had to choose one right now it would probably be the Andoran faction as I like their stated goals the best of any one already existant faction. I still wish there was another faction I liked better though. Hopefully, one of the new factions will be more appealing to me.

I asked this question in the Vow of Poverty thread, but that thread got shut down before anyone could answer my question. So, I will ask it here.

The second introductory paragraph in the monk section states, "This section introduces monk vows, which any user of ki can take to increase his ki pool."

Monks aren't the only ki-users any more. The internal alchemist archetype can take the extra ki feat and the ninja in the Ultimate Combat playtest uses ki. If they can take a vow, then what do they exchange for the right to do so? I only ask since the monk - THE primary ki-user in the game - has to trade out an ability to gain vows. They shouldn't get vows for free if the monk doesn't.

I also ask because in my games, I have seen a couple of the other players multi-class more often than you would expect in Pathfinder and they did it with monk, too. I can definitely see this coming up in the future if one of our players should multiclass with monk and take vows. I think the answer to that is pretty clear, but I raise the issue in case there is an aspect to it that I have not considered.

Personally, I feel vows should be "monk only", but it would be nice to hear an official answer.

I have subscriptions for the Adventure Paths, the Player's Companions, the Campaign Setting, and the Pathfinder RPG and I have selected the option that they all be mailed to me in a single shipment once per month. Today, I received notice of order #1665419 coming soon and it lists the Rule of Fear and Carrion Crown 2, but it does not list Faiths of Purity. I thought Faiths of Purity should be coming this month also. Am I wrong about that or is something not right with my subscription request for all products to come in a single shipment once per month?

I have not yet received my order for the Queen Ileosa figure that was on back order and then shipped on 30 August. At the time, I had just moved to a new address. I think the shipment may have been lost somewhere during the move even though my mail was forwarded immediately upon the date of the move. I updated my new address here on the website, but it was after I was notified the package had shipped.

I kept thinking that it would arrive any day and was just taking longer because my mail had been forwarded; however, it still has not showed up after all this time. I was wondering if it was returned to sender?

So when do we get to use the six new iconics as avatars?

I can't wait to use the white-haired witch for mine.

Got the PDF now and the shipment has been sent.

Thanks!
