Spoilers for RotRL and Age of Worms

So I had a crazy idea to use some dungeon issues with pathfinder. Use more before 4e if Paizo switches. Many of my players would like to go to 20th level by the end, but this path ends at 15. (I don’t think we’ve had many go from 1-15 so its been exciting)

So, my mind starting thinking of the Leng angle, I like the Lovecraft idea. The idea of hand making adventures above 15th level, ugh.

Currently they have finished HMM and are the Lords of the Fort. They used a number of mind spells and Kreegs head to get a number of tribes to war with the Kreegs, making the overall Ogre presence smaller. They have also done the Seven Swords of Sin, ending with one of the party members in league/dividing territory with Tirana.

So I was thinking of merging some of Age of Worms with Pathfinder. (mostly with issues I own then pick up a few pdfs). Obviously certain things will need more reworking. The gist is Kyuss and Dragotha are receiving help from the Leng to cause the Age of the Worms to help free Mhar.

The lizards will be located in the swamp near Fort Rannick and attack with the decrease in Ogres and the ecological nightmare of Black Maga arriving in the lake. Ilthane the black dragon will be replaced by Casuval who survived and hates the party from 7swords. While Blackwall Keep is lower level it would be nice to give them a win defending their new Fort.

While routing the Ogres or facing Stone Giant patrols they’ll do Gathering Winds.

They then will do Fortress of the Stone Giants. Though I think Mokmurian might learn of them and send some attacks on Rannick. Be fun to have a Hound of Tindalos come out of the mages scrying equipment in Rannick.

Then they would do Sins of the Saviors with info from Tirana. This would lead them to do Xin-Shalast. However, in both adding in a little of the Kyuss spawns appearing.

At they end they will find while Mhar didn’t awaken another creature is starting to. The Leng are now focusing on Kyuss. Tirana will effectively be Lashoona. They will do the Library of Last resort to the end of the Age of Worms.

The Stone Giants that the pc have befriended will help them find the King of the Rift region. Many of the enemies there will have switched loyalty from Karzoug to Dragotha.

The final battle will be at Kaer Maga instead of Redhand. This is where I’m less sure of my plan, since I don’t own the issue with Dawn of a New Age. I was wondering if the Redhand is as important or just people they know and Kaer Maga could work.

So is my idea silly?
